My budget: 50k -60k (stretchable 1k to 2k)
So I am a master student and civil engineering graduate and this is my first time buying an actual high budget laptop so I want it to be equipped with everything related to my profession as well as normal functioning.
As per my future profession it will require to run softwares like Autocad, Revit, staadpro etc.
Normal functions like social media, movies and other normal features which laptop has.
I don't play any games so you can neglect it but still I had interest in asus laptop so you can recommend which is suitable to my scenario.
Please don't recommend acer as I have heard about the cost cutting which can create issues also in hp I had interest in hp victus so yall can comment on it.
I don't have that knowledge about laptop specifications so please recommend accordingly.

So my wife and I tried last April to get into both the pre-sales for Gauntlet at the garden on 2 separate accounts, without luck. So before the general sale, I popped over to stubhub and got tickets fearing a price spike when the general sale went live.
It is now January 20th, we fly from Chicago to New York on Wednesday, and I still haven't been sent the tickets. Stubhub says the order is confirmed, but I see other listings for instant download tickets.
My question is should I be worried someone sold me tickets they didn't have? Should I buy other tickets to make sure that the whole trip isn't ruined? Has anyone else bought stubhub tickets for this and not gotten them yet? Any insight would be helpful!

Hi all,
I'm currently in my third (final) year of a bachelor's at a target uni in Europe. I plan to do a masters in finance right after for two more years (at the same target uni). This is my last semester here and I'm expecting feedback by tomorrow on a series of interviews for a 6-month market risk internship at a big bank in Italy. The internship will focus a team that handles independent price verification OR a team that defines risk appetite (sets VaR limits and such) and checks whether said limits have been respected. Both teams focus on the trading book of the bank and work with all sorts of products (bonds, derivatives, ABS etc.).
I want to go into trading/structuring in the future and I'm wondering whether this internship would be better than a research project on differential equations that I've got lined up for the semester. I'm asking for your advice on how to spin this internship off into a FO role in the future, and if you think this is realistically achievable. I've got only one internship on my resume and it's finance (but not markets) related, plus a lot of personal projects to share.
What should I do?
