Not necessarily asking for advice, more for acknowledgement or empathy from the community.
We're on a long repeat sit in the countryside and there are three cats. One of them was formerly an outside cat for several years but has recently been kept inside due to a murderous streak towards the local wildlife. The problem is that this cat is really unhappy at his new reality. He's waiting by the door all day trying to escape and has succeeded twice. He wanders round at night with anguished loud caterwauling and knocking things over. He's clearly exhibiting signs of stress and is generally depressed and bored. The other two cats don't mind being inside so much but also try and escape. He doesn't want to play so I can't help him much.
I feel guilty all the time, and a bit frustrated as I didn't sign up to be a prison guard. None of this was mentioned until the day before the sit began. I don't have strong feelings either way towards the indoooutdoor debate and owned a cat myself that was indoors only but had the temperament for it. What bothers me is seeing an animal in unnecessary distress because things have been changed from what he knows and he can't understand why. I must add that there's no roads nearby and we're not in the USA where there are cat predators or somewhere like Australia where there are indigenous wildlife to consider.
We won't say anything to the owner about our concerns because it's not our business and we need a good review to recover from a bad one last year.
P.s I never understood what caterwauling meant till I heard this guy. It's intense!

ich hoffe ich bin hier richtig für meine Frage, da ich neu in der Reddit-Community bin. Ich beschäftige mich momentan mit "Named Entity Recognition" in Verbindung mit KI. Meine Idee war es ein vortrainiertes Model zu benutzen, um gewisse Informationen aus einem Text zu bekommen. Es stellt sich aber heraus, dass das für mich mit wenig KI Erfahrung relativ langwierig ist und ich meine Recherchearbeit abkürzen möchte. Deswegen dachte ich, ich Frage hier mal nach, um eventuell Ratschläge zur besten Vorhergehensweise oder eine Model Empfehlung zu bekommen.

Currently ripping out half the bus and redoing it again becuase why the fuck not. This hump platform needed to be redone. It usually houses three filing cabinets on top but I decided to loose one of the cabinets and build my bucket into it and eventually turn that part and the next two windows into the bathroom .. anyone have build photos if they have done it before?

2025.01.20 15:51 Chautoo FritzBox 7590 AX WLAN teilweise sehr langsam mit Verbindungsabbrüchen
 | Ich habe vor ein paar Monaten durch einen Wechsel zur Telekom angeraten bekommen, dass wir uns eine Fritzbox 7590 AX zwecks VDSL zulegen sollen. Vor dem Wechsel war eine 7590 im Einsatz, welche auch VDSL mitbringt - jedoch war mir das vor dem Wechsel nicht bewusst. Seit dem Wechsel zur 7590 AX ist das WLAN jedoch nicht konstant, bricht teilweise ab oder baut eine sehr langsame Verbindung auf (zwischen 5 - 25 Mbit/s meist nur 5GHz). Das es anscheinend überwiegend das 5GHz Band bevorzugt, ist mir dabei am meisten aufgefallen. Jedoch ist das für mich nicht verständlich, weil die 7590 vorher den gleichen Bereich (125m²) abgedeckt hat und das WLAN viel seltener abgebrochen ist. Zudem hängt der neue Router an der selben Position. Ich kann auch ausschließen, dass an etwas anderem als dem WLAN liegt, weil am LAN-Port konstant gutes Internet ankommt und es dort auch keine Abbrüche gibt. Im Durchschnitt sind zwischen 15 - 22 Geräte zeitgleich mit dem WLAN verbunden. Das ist die gleiche Anzahl wie mit der 7590. Ich habe auch schon diverse andere Post mit den selben Problemen gefunden. Daher habe ich schon verschiedene Einstellungen ausprobiert. Zum Beispiel - das ein fester Kanal benutzt wird. - die Fritzbox das Internet zwischen den Geräten gleichmäßiger Verteilt. - zusätzlich Kanäle 11, 12 und 13 verwendet. - nur 2.4GHz oder nur 5GHz verwendet - zusmannen sind diese stabiler als einzeln. - die alte 7590 als Meshrepeater eingebunden. (Hat das WLAN etwas stabiler gemacht; jedoch bricht auch bei dieser Teilweise die Verbindung ab) Nun zu meiner Frage: Kann es sein, dass bei so vielen Geräten zeitgleich die Interferenz zu stark sind obwohl es mit der 7590 stabiler gewesen ist? Gibt es noch Einstellungen, welche ich ausprobieren könnte, damit das WLAN stabiler läuft? Falls jmd auf die Frage kommt, warum kein LAN benutzt wird: Wir müssten durch die gesamte Wohnung sowie durch Wände Kabel verlegen, was bei unserer Wohnung keinen Sinn macht und zu viel Geld kosten würde.
