Title - I know that Valhalla and bitwig haven’t really gotten along for years but I assumed that the bug would be fixed by now, maybe not tho. Is there any way to get around this? I tried changing audio drivers to ASIO and using real time exporting (and using override driver timing), but the only way to stop the crackling audio is to disable half or more of my sends/fx tracks with the Valhalla on them (in my current project there’s 4 reverb fx send tracks).
The audio isnt clipping (it’s -6db peak on master) and my cpu usage is very small. Thank you if anyone has insight into this!

2025.01.20 15:58 Live_Barracuda1113 Looking for a cheap skate

Hi everyone
So my whole family skates regularly, but my daughter is turning 11 and now that she is a woman's size 7, I would like to get her some new skates (she had the adjustable size ones forever.)
As her feet are still growing, I don't want to sink tons of money into a pair. Are there any decent brands in a lower price point? We have no issue replacing wheels/bearing etc. We are indoor skaters.
Thank you!!!

Tips for Planning Your New Year’s Celebration

Embrace the joy and excitement as you explore these best places to travel for New Year’s in the U.S. Each destination offers a unique way to welcome the New Year, making it an experience you won't forget. Whether you're in the heart of bustling cities or soaking in the charm of smaller towns, you'll find the perfect way to celebrate the arrival of the New Year!
Unique Traditions and Activities to Celebrate New Year's Across America Every year, as the calendar turns anew, people across America celebrate New Year’s in their own unique ways. The traditions and activities vary by region, offering a colorful tapestry of festivities. From extravagant fireworks to humble communal gatherings, these celebrations reflect the diverse culture of the United States.
In many places, the night is marked by fireworks lighting up the sky. Cities like New York City host some of the largest displays. The iconic ball drop in Times Square is a must-see event, drawing thousands of visitors each year. It’s not just the ball that makes it special; the vibrant atmosphere, the famous performers, and the anticipation of a new year coming together create an unforgettable experience.
In the South, food holds a significant place in New Year's celebrations. Many families enjoy a traditional meal consisting of black-eyed peas and collard greens. For many, eating these dishes on New Year's Day is believed to bring good luck and prosperity. Southern homes are filled with the smell of delicious food, making it a cozy time for family and friends to come together.
Another unique tradition can be found in Denver, Colorado, where locals participate in the “LoDo” (Lower Downtown) fireworks display paired with a 5K run called the “New Year’s Eve Resolution 5K.” This not only includes the excitement of racing but allows participants to burn off those extra holiday calories while joining in the celebration.
On the West Coast, San Francisco stands out with its annual New Year's Eve fireworks over the Bay. Spectators gather along the waterfront to watch the colorful explosions reflect in the water. Many people also enjoy a stunning view from nearby piers or a festive dinner on a yacht, making sure to ring in the year surrounded by loved ones.
For a whimsical twist, consider the New Year’s Day Polar Bear Plunge, celebrated in various states including New Jersey and Maine. Participants brave the chilly waters of the Atlantic Ocean, entering the surf in just their swimsuits. This exhilarating event is often paired with charity fundraising and is a fantastic way to begin the New Year with an adventure.
Midwestern cities hold their own unique celebrations. In Chicago, revelers can partake in the tradition of “New Year’s Eve in the Windy City,” featuring a spectacular fireworks display over the lakefront. The event attracts tourists and locals alike, creating an electric atmosphere filled with cheer and excitement.
On the East Coast, Philadelphia has a distinct post-New Year's tradition—the annual Mummers Parade. This vibrant parade features costumed performers, floats, and music, showcasing the city's rich cultural heritage. The Mummers’ performances pay tribute to different themes while inspiring joy in the hearts of those watching.
Some areas embrace a soothing approach to the new year. For instance, the peaceful atmosphere of Key West, Florida, invites visitors to join in the “Drops” celebration, where a conch shell is dropped in place of a ball, capturing the laid-back vibe of this tropical paradise. The transition into a new year takes on a mellow, fun feel with live music and local flavors.
If you seek something unusual, consider heading to New Orleans, renowned for its lively celebrations. Here, attendees can enjoy a masquerade ball or experience the “Voodoo Ritual” at the historic St. Louis Cathedral. The eclectic music, soul food, and vibrant streets set a festive backdrop, making it an unforgettable place to welcome the New Year.
A unique highlight in Pasadena, California is the Rose Parade, taking place on New Year’s Day. Floats decorated with flowers make their way down Colorado Boulevard, showcasing spectacular creative designs. This tradition symbolizes renewal and serves as a fitting kickoff to the year ahead.
Traveling across America during New Year’s can provide you with various festive experiences. Whether you enjoy exhilarating fireworks, community meals, whimsical plunges, or parades, each destination offers something special. Celebrating in these distinct locations lets you embrace the essence of people's cultures and traditions as they welcome another year filled with hope and potential.

2025.01.20 15:58 Familiar_Exercise_61 Bedtime scent?

I’m looking for a bedtime scent. Here’s what I like for everyday wear: -not a perfume by Juliet has a gun -pear inc (same brand) -wulong cha by nichane (god bless this scent) -gypsy water by byredo -Ambrette 9 by le labo (discontinued and I’m heartbroken) -Persian Garden by Kuumba Made (been wearing this for over a decade)
Notes I don’t like: -powder -overtly floral (especially rose) -anything too sweet
I am looking for something that is subtle enough to wear to bed and melts into my skin. I don’t mind a scent that isn’t “strong enough” as I prefer something that you really only pick up on if you’re very close. I am not looking for something cheap.
Thank u 👻

2025.01.20 15:58 DdoryD easyJet online check-in

Hi, it's gonna be my first time flying by myself. I know that with easyJet you can do an online check-in. I personally am used to in person check-in. I wanted to ask if there's gonna be a fee if I choose to check-in in person at the airport? Last time my friend flew with wizzair and checked in in person he had to pay a fee. Is it the same with easyJet?
