2025.01.20 18:00 burningexeter Wallace & Gromit, Shaun The Sheep and Chicken Run are set in the same universe.
We already know about the connection with the former two. Shaun The Sheep is a spin-off of Wallace & Gromit with the titular character making his first appearance as a supporting character and at the end of Vengeance Most Fowl, the Farmer from the series makes a cameo.
But what if there's more to it than that.
I'm proposing that the entire Wallace & Gromit series (A Grand Day Out, The Wrong Trousers, A Close Shave, Curse Of The Were-Rabbit, A Matter Of Loaf and Death & Vengeance Most Fowl), Shaun The Sheep series (the TV series, Shaun The Sheep Movie, Shaun The Sheep: Farmageddon & The Flight Before Christmas) and lastly, Chicken Run all take place in the same world and it's not just because they're Aardman productions but also because with them having intelligent and sometimes even anthropomorphic animals, there's a pretty solid connection between the IPs.
They all ultimately chronicling the rise of intelligent animals, whether they can talk or not, through exceedingly more and more bizarre or fantastical, larger than life scenarios. While at the same time, they too focus on different types of intelligent animals with their own personalities that help them fight against the odds.

2025.01.20 18:00 Mad_Grin Canceled 26 premier accounts.
I'm big into multi logging and as of December I was running 28 accounts, all with premier. I paid for those memberships with bonds. For those of you who aren't aware, paying with bonds is more profitable for Jagex than paying outright with money (20 bonds is $180 USD). With the recent increase in the cost to run them I was already thinking about shutting down the operation but as time goes on Jagex reminds me I'm making the right decision. Every year it keeps getting worse and worse and worse and worse. The corporate overlords are never happy and always need more profits. I'll still be riding out the next ~year's membership on my ironman and cgim. After those end I'll see where we're at and go from there.

I need help.
Baseline: I have two job offers one I just started a week ago and another that came in while working at my new role. One career at GFL is may below what I have been paid in the past with a 36% pay cut. I was originally okay with taking a lower pay for less stress which this company provides, I understand the work, easy to understand organization, people seem awesome so far as does my boss he’s really great, I have more work life balance starting at a 9AM role. However benefits are terrible uncompetitive match at 3%, low amount of vacation days, sick time bundled with vacation, medical average.
However Duke is great on paper. Pay is 18% cut from before which is less impactful. Benefits are much better 6% match with additional 4% contribution at the end of the year, medical is much better, 15 vacation days vs the 5 or so at GFL, 120 days sick 120 days PTO. But the role seems much more stressful, although I’m not sure. I have had a few conversations with by future boss and she seems like she may be much less “chill” the roll seems challenging and learning would be a curve for me. I also need to travel a bit in the short term to get to know folks.
It’s an office based role. So essentially I am fairly torn between great environment with low oh and benefits vs a pit Ritalin stressful environment with a large learning curve with excellent pay and benefits.
I’m really trying hard to make a choice but I’ve been really stuck not sure what to choose. I have been a part of two stressful careers back to back which I am looking to avoid. However this benefits and pay I am at currently is nowhere near where I should be.
Looking for insights and thoughts from anyone I need to make a decision fairly soon.

- Montero Sport Facelift - Powerful engine and good looks but the interior is a bit out-dated
- Nissan X-Terra Platinum - The engine is the downside and I've heard that it feels underpowered. Interior features are reasonable
Are there any other options (not interested in used cars) within this price point?

I’m actually beginning to feel normal? Or at least remember what it’s like to feel normal. I thought I was damaged forever.
Also, this subreddit is very valuable despite what others suggest. Seeing others go through the same process doesn’t make me more anxious, it makes me feel like I’m not alone. It encourages me to stay strong when I see people say that they feel better after X amount of days 🤷

Context: Discussing bird flu and raw diary consumption. Maher states that people consume raw dairy products because they want the probiotics that are killed off by pasteurization.
Subtle misunderstandings like this perpetuate people making bad choices. I don't think it was malicious by Maher, simply him not knowing that he doesn't understand something and speaking to it to a large audience. How many people heard this and go, "oh yeah, I definitely want the probiotics, I'll buy raw yogurt now."
For those who don't know, while pasteurization does kill off all bacteria, all of the modern companies selling pasteurized yogurt, kefir, etc. pasteurize the milk used to make that end product and THEN add active bacterial cultures to ferment the milk into the end product. So all bacteria good and bad is killed off, then good bacteria is added to ferment.
