Hey all. Reaching out here because I'm so frustrated!
TL:DR: Aussie pup ate perfectly fine until recently, now uninterested in her kibble at meal times. Totally normal behavior otherwise.
Our puppy is almost 7 months and, based on other reading, appears to be going through some fear regression. In general she's great- solid at basic commands, fuzzier when there are many distractions. She gets along with all other dogs, can chill in public, gets tons of exercise, wonderful stuff.
The entire time we've had her (adopted from a shelter in October) we have trained her with a treat pouch filled with a mix of kibble and treats. She gets fed the kibble recommended by her veterinarian, and in addition to constant reinforcement snacks as she has gotten older, she also has been fed 3 regular meals. Up until like 10 days ago, none of this was a problem. She ate eagerly and attentively.
Now, she will sniff the kibble and just ignore it. If she's not feeling it when you go to reward her for something she just kind of grabs it and drops it. Her energy level unchanged and she has no other symptoms than this "hunger strike."
I have tried a wee bit of broth, and a wee bit of peanut butter thoroughly mixed in the food and sometimes this does the trick but not aways. As a growing high energy breed puppy she needs to eat A LOT of food and I feel like she's falling behind all of the sudden. Any success stories on overcoming this? How normal is it?? I've never had a dog that wasn't food motivated and until a week or so ago she was QUITE food motivated. It makes training and everything else difficult, and now I'm constantly stressed because she won't eat!
To answer some questions ahead of time: - She is spayed, as she was adopted from a shelter - She will still eat high value treats MOST of the time, but not 100% - So far I have been able to eventually get her daily allotment of kibble into her, but today is particularly bad. - I juuuuuust bought a huge, expensive bag of her food right before the strike began. She had eaten it gleefully up until that point, so naturally I just reordered.

So I know this is my own fault, they clearly state make sure the names match exactly when booking a ticket. But just wanted to share my crappy experience.
I bought the tickets before receiving my 4 kids passports, I knew the names had to match. My husband's passport doesn't have his middle name on it, while mine does. I made the wrong choice to NOT put their middle name on the tickets. I filled out their passport applications without putting their middle names on it, thinking they would only put the first and last names. But the passport office added the middle names themselves! I picked them up and my heart sank because I knew it was going to be an issue.
I have heard of people getting denied to board if their names don't exactly match and I didnt want to risk that. I called flair customer service, they only allowed 1 change to the reservation, so one childs middle name was added free. One child was an infant, so theirs was changed free. But the other 2 children costed us $75 per child, per ticket (there and back)!! So a grand total of $300 extra to put their middle names on the tickets.
I know it's my own fault, but I tried to do everything right and still screwed it up.. but honestly the amount they charged me is just insane!! Plus the hoops I had to jump through to get it done was just unreal..
Everybody said don't fly with Flair, and now I see why.. here's hoping our flights go smoother than the rest of the process.

Spare me the judgments. Read at your own risk. I just need to share/let this out this somewhere. Apologies in advance if you find this offensive or shallow.
So I posted stuff about hooking up a couple of months ago. October, if I recall, and got hundreds of DMs from that. First things first, I apologise if I didn't reply to you or ghosted you. I have some stuff going on in my life too. Thanks for understanding.
Here's what I learnt and found out over the course of my activities.
Character-development (or not) wise 1. I found out what my boundaries are.
- Learnt to communicate my boundaries and say no. I used to have people pleasing tendencies. Now I just feel comfortable blocking people who crosses my boundaries. If we click then we click, if not, good bye and hope you find someone for you.
- Found out I'm a sweet talker? Never knew the way I speak is considered flirty.
- I found out I like being spoiled. Hehehehe. I've been pretty much independent/being depended on and being spoiled feels new and nice.
- I find people of different races attractive.
- I like men older than I am. Not elderly old, just a bit older 😋 something about em just, idk. Yum.
- Planner type of men. I love these. Asks for consent and agreements, likes, dislikes, no-nos, plans ahead. Takes action. Like damn, my brain can just take a break.
- Men that are insecure about their body. Hey, listen, I also got stuff I'm insecure about with my body. Don't worry too much about it. We fix what we can and don't worry about the stuffs that can't be fixed. I found some people that likes the stuff I'm insecure about and maybe you'll do too. If they berate/ make fun of you about it, leave. Not worth spending time and energy with those kinda people.
- Men that tries to put your confidence down in order to get you feel like you need their validation. Sorry not gonna work on me. How do you think criticising my apprearance is gonna make me feel like hooking up with you lol.
- Not properly educated men. Apparently some men made it to 35 without knowing that pullout is not 100% safe. Some does not even know what STD/STIs are. Have you guys been having sex without knowing safe sex practices? How are you still alive??
- Nudes fishermen. Heh, pretty self-explanatory.
- Virgins. Some are really lovable and some just rude and can't talk to girls to save their lives.
- Overthinking men. Well. Got cold feet on the day of. I'm sorry if you find meeting me intimidating? I'm just chilling. Hope you're doing good. No point in hooking up if it stresses you out. Just chill.
- Ghosters. Men that never takes action. Asks to meet but then goes radio silent. Then comes back after a few weeks/months to make plans only to ghost again. Idk what to call these. Trolls???
- Asks to split hotel bills. Sorry I can't entertain each and every one of these 🙏🏻 God knows how many of these I got. Also got some asking me to get them food. Would consider if gf/bf but for hookups, no can do. With all due respect, we can just not fuck? Not to be rude but I don't run a charity and I'm not a town bike that everyone gets to ride lol.
- Demanding types. I really hate these. How do you think you're you gonna get women if you talk like they owe you sex?????? Also demands me to fly to a whole other country to just hookup with you, an unknown person, on my own expense? I can just not?
- Love-bomber. Showers you with attention 24/7 for a couple of days then ghosts only to pop up again after a week to ask if you cried missing him. LOL.
- Some that pretends to be religious, gave religious advice and hope I return to the right path, but at the end of the day says "If you're ever in Xstate, do hit me up, maybe we can hookup". I'm sorry, what?
- Last but not least, men who "forgets" to bring condoms. Bye.

A very small minority of Orthodox seem to believe Augustinian Original Sin is proper doctrine, should be taught and embraced by others, and going so far as to correct others who reject it in place of Ancestral Sin?? I’ve talked to my Priest and done extensive research on this topic as a former Calvinist, and it’s seems very clear that Eastern Orthodoxy rejects Augustinian Original Sin and its implications. So, what gives?

2025.01.20 21:50 Tjaames First timer- I thought Carlos and the entire cast were incredible. Thoughts!!!
Hi all! I saw Hadestown for the first time last night, and I had successfully all of the music and the story other than the basic mythology.
I was absolutely FLOORED by Carlos’ performance last night. I felt that he conveyed such a genuine and raw emotion that I have not seen many other times. He had this endearing innocence, wonder, and hope in his eyes and body the entire performance.
There were a few moments where I felt he fell off a note, but it was always when he was so deeply emoting that I thought those moments made his performance significantly more beautiful.
Allison Russel also blew my partner and I out of the water. From her toes to the top of her head, she was GIVING her character. I was so blown away by every choice that was made up on that stage.
My only criticism was probably solely because Carlos has just started in the role, but I felt the combat scene was very slow and awkward, with many actors seemingly standing around until the next music cue. This was the only thing I could think of that took me out for a short moment.
I was crying midway through the first song and didn’t stop until the final bows. Next to Normal was the first show that came close to impacting me that much. I am just so blown away, and can’t believe I just found my new favorite musical last night. Wow WOW WOW
