Day 4 of Kingdom Hearts

It is also know as Boxing Day in Great Britain (and former colonies). For a generic term, I don't think there is an improvement upon morrow, other than to stick with the day after. According to N-grams, day after is preferred over morrow of: Interestingly, day after Christmas is much preferred over day after Christmas Day: If someone eats only one or two meals in a day, there are no ready-made names. Probably we would name a meal breakfast, lunch, dinner, or supper depending on what it looks like and what time of day it is. We don't use the word tea for a meal, just for the beverage. As for time of day, my dialect has two sets of word. In an out of office email message I am trying to express that I will be on vacation from 03 January 2021 through 28 January 2022 and, given that the last day is a Friday, I also want to add a return date (the following Monday). I came up with this: I will be on vacation from 03.01.2022 through 28.01.2022, returning on 31.01.2022. But people often take today to be the first day of the count, so if on Monday someone says "within 3 days" they are thinking day 1=today, Monday; day 2=Tuesday, day 3=Wednesday. There's also the perennial question of whether the last day ends on the multiple of 24 hours from the time when the deadline was given, if it means midnight of that day, or closing time of that day, or what. In this case, 'next', in reference to any day of the week, is relative to 'this' day of the week. In the context of days of the week, 'this [one]' always precedes the 'next [one]'; in other words, when someone says 'next Saturday', the presumption is 'NOT this Saturday', because if they meant 'THIS Saturday', they should have used the word 'this'. Similar constructions exist in other Germanic languages (cf. Du. van daag "from-day," Dan., Swed. i dag "in day"). Ger. heute is from O.H.G. hiutu, from P.Gmc. hiu tagu "on (this) day," with first element from PIE pronomial stem ki-, represented by L. cis "on this side." The same applies to tomorrow and tonight, at least according to this ... I’m looking for a more professional term or phrase to describe “day to day task” or a task that is very common for a particular role of work. The term itself refers to the passing year. Since the 18th century this has been used as a salutation to offer the hope that a happy day being marked would recur many more times. It is now primarily used on birthdays; prior to the mid 19th century it was used more generally, at any celebratory or festive event. Day may refer to: the day of the week (e.g., Monday, Tuesday); the day of the month (e.g, 2nd day of February); a unit of time (e.g., this task would take 2 days to complete). A date on the other hand usually has the month and the year along with the day: the 21st February 2011. It also has a fixed quality I think. Due at or before 11:59:59 PM on that date - that is, before the specified day ends. Due at or before 11:59:59 PM on the previous date - that is, before the specified day begins . Due at or before a specific time on the date, such as the end of the workday for the person receiving the work .

2025.01.20 18:00 LiScout Non-QM for Land w/ pre-1976 motor home?

Hi folks!
We found the perfect acreage for our family’s (first) future home in a rural area and initially were planning on using an USDA land mortgage. However, there is an old (pre-1976) motor home sitting on the land - it is hooked up to utilities (has a well, septic and electric), but it’s not really on a foundation.
Loan Officer says an USDA land mortgage won’t be possible unless the motor home is removed from the property, which apparently would cost tens of thousands of dollars, but my family is not in a position we can dip into the money saved for down payment/closing without compromising the loan amount we can get approved for.
Anyway, I have been reading about Non-QM mortgages and thought perhaps that would be a viable alternative (though I know the rates will be higher); however, all I can find is Non-QM mortgage for situations such as high DTI, low credit score, etc. etc., nothing about cases where the actual property won’t meet conventional or government-backed loans.
We don’t plan on living in it, but instead slowly build our dream home since we are leaving rent-free in a family property for the foreseeable future.
I would appreciate any suggestions on where we might find commercial lenders willing to finance land with an old motor home or any advice on alternatives we might not be considering.
Thank you very much!

2025.01.20 18:00 Confident-Wedding688 Town in Suffolk County - Looking for advice

My family is looking to relocate to Suffolk County, west of Riverhead. We hope to find a place we can stay for 20+ years, so we’re trying to make a very thoughtful decision. I am hoping to find some advice here on reddit. I would love any insights.
We don't commute daily to the city. We do, however, need to be on the east end with some frequency. We have mostly focused on the North Shore in our search but are open to South Shore, etc.
Aspects of a community we are seeking:
1) Year-round, active community with lots of family-oriented activities (parades, recreational opportunities like youth sports, farmers markets, community resources like playgrounds and beaches, etc.).
2) Good schools.
3) Walkability in at least some neighborhoods to a downtown.
4) Welcoming, active, involved community with down to earth people.
5) Cultural institutions within a half hour or so (concert venues, theaters, museums, etc.).
6) No overwhelming political atmosphere or leaning either right or left.
7) Water access somewhere in town.
Assume for exploration sake that budget is not a constraint.
With these things in mind, we have identified Northport, Stony Brook and Centerport as potential options and are trying to foresee any aspects that would make them not such a great fit.
- Northport – Seems to fit the vibe perfectly and we love the feel when we visit. Many of the neighborhoods feel like places you could build relationships with neighbors and walk to a variety of places. However, it seems like there is some volatility with their school system, the tax situation with LIPA and housing development.
- Stony Brook – We like that it’s a little further East and the school seems very well run and stable. The downtown is cute but I can’t tell how walkable the area is (to be fair, I haven’t visited in warmer weather yet). The taxes are more substantial but I assume you get a lot for them (I hope?) and the houses seem slightly more affordable than Northport and Centerport. I have a hard time getting a feel for the scene or how cohesive the 3V community is.
- Centerport – I’ve heard a lot of good things about the school system and their access to water seems great. It does not seem walkable to any substantial downtown, which is not ideal for us, and the big peninsula, which appears to comprise most of the town, seems a little isolating. It’s as far West as we would consider and I’m not sure if they have an independent identity or if they are tied to another town for things like little league, etc.
These brief overviews of towns probably feel incomplete and superficial because they admittedly are. I’m not sure how accurate any of the above is, but I’ve been trying my best as an outsider to glean as much as I can through local social media pages, local newspapers, day trips and reddit. If anyone has experience with any of them and can provide their personal take, I’d love to hear it, as I don’t know anyone in any of the towns.
Any suggestion for communities we may not have considered yet but should?
If I’m leaving out any clarifying information that would help provide guidance, feel free to ask.

2025.01.20 17:59 ThePorkInvestigator Games that are similar to Dead Island/Dying Light that has a similar crafting system

Been having some craving to play games like Dead Island, with heavy emphasis on the crafting system/finding recipes. I already replayed it and finished it about a year ago. I finished Dying Light maybe 3 times and I preordered Dying Light 2, but seeing how the crafting recipes aren't found and just get them by vendors (haven't played since Oct 2023 not sure if they got changed) was just a major turnoff, but I can try a game with no recipes with similar crafting system. I want something similar to Dying Light/Dead Island. I also play emulated games so any games from any console no matter how old are on the table for me. Some games that are similar that I have played:

2025.01.20 17:59 AdvantageNo3180 For moving to Spain- What kind of job can I get with my two degrees?

I understand that the healthcare system isn't nearly as complicated as it is in the USA. I have my associates in management/marketing and my bachelor's is in healthcare management from the US. I have 5+ years working in healthcare management as well.
My husband and I want to move to Spain permanently and his ancestors are originally from Spain. He is fluent in both Spanish (his primary language) and English. I am currently learning Spanish and want to know if there any type of job I would be able to obtain with my degrees.
I've looked into the nomad visa but am considering saving up to apply for the non-lucrative visa where I understand I have to show around $36K each year for both my husband and I and will not be allowed to work during it. We also will need to show that private health insurance has been purchased. Any suggestions whether it's a US based job that has international locations or possible jobs to apply for directly in Spain would be greatly appreciated.
