Hi everyone, I recently started a new job at a startup company, working remotely. Everything’s been going well so far, but now they’re planning an in-person social gathering. It’s meant to help us get to know each other, share moments, work together face-to-face, and meet the CTO in person.
Here’s the thing—I’m not a very social person, and I’m definitely not fond of traveling. I live with my fiancé and our two dogs, and I honestly just enjoy being at home. The idea of traveling alone to meet coworkers I’ve only known for less than a month makes me anxious. I asked my fiancé if he’d join me, even though he wouldn’t be involved in the work events, just to feel more comfortable. However, that creates another problem: we’d have no one to take care of our dogs.
Dog care homes aren’t an option because our dogs don’t do well around other dogs, and no one in my family is willing to take on the responsibility of watching them. So now I’m stuck wondering if I should go at all.
Part of me is considering making up an excuse, like saying I have a relative’s birthday, but I worry this might reflect badly on me, especially since I’m still new at the job. At the same time, I really don’t feel good about the travel and the whole situation.
Do you think skipping the event would hurt my standing at work? Or is it okay to politely decline, given my circumstances? Any advice would be appreciated!

I need help. I just recently got a Graphtec FC9000 for our business to cut decals and I can't get it to cut what I send from Illustrator to Cutting Master 4 or 5. The machine works just fine, when I do cut tests it works. But when I send my cut line that I had from Illustrator into cutting master and then to the machine it doesn't cut. It keeps saying there is a mark scan error. I have played with the settings on the machine and everything.. How can I get it to cut what I am sending???

I am in what I feel is a fairly complicated situation regarding my entitlement to Irish citizenship. My dad was born in Scotland to an Irish woman who, from what I have been told, was born in Ireland then immigrated to Scotland. However, she gave my dad up for adoption and he was adopted by my Scottish grandparents, and so never received Irish citizenship. Since I have a biological grandparent who was born in Ireland and was an Irish citizen, I believe I am entitled to Irish citizenship myself. However, due to the circumstances, I do not have access to my biological grandmother's birth certificate and we have never been in contact with her or any family members. Does anyone know if there is any way for me to get the necessary paperwork to apply for citizenship, or if there are any other forms of paperwork I could use in lieu of my grandmother's birth certificate?

What I would like to do is to make some small edits to already published voicepacks for my personal use; essentially, in an effort to clean up the listings in-game menu, I would like to edit the listings to follow the same format, that being "[source logo] Language, Accent, Demeanor (Source Character)" i.e. "[L4D logo] English, African-American, Casual (Louis)".
Is there an easy way to do this, or do I have to essentially remake the mods? How do I go about opening these mods to make the edits? Do I create a new project on ModBuddy?
I'm a bit lost here and looking for guidance.

 | As you can see, I’m a bit of an addict 😂. I’m a mostly F2P girl, I only subscribed to the Aurum pass on the main account, and sometimes get the heartfelt vow. Other accounts are completely F2P. *Main: I’m pulling for Caleb on my Main account, that’s non-negotiable 🤣🤣🤣, but Lightseeker Xavier is the only standard myth I don’t have here, so I want that too. I have some crates saved, so he’s kinda guaranteed. *Alt 1 is actually the newest account with low level cards and no myth companions, I’m going to focus on pulling the OG 3 here and use saved crates once I run out of wishes. *Alt 2 is a Rafayel account, I only have Abysswalker companion, so I’m going to try and get the other 2 OGs so I can level up their orbit trials. *Alt 3 is a non-pulling account, which is why it’s the highest, but I’m thinking of using pulse hunter to obtain other standard myth companions as lightseeker is the only one I have there (And he’s been carrying the entire account since Xavier has most of the colors). The other option is to not pull, and keep saving for the 6th LI, it’s really just an account for hoarding. However, if I don’t at least rank up some Xavier cards, or pull another companion, I’m never gonna get 36/36 in SHC. To pull, or not to pull. *Alt 4 is a Sylus account. I have Abysm Sovereign, and I plan to get his Ruthless Conqueror companion. However, since he doesn’t have all the colors, I plan to choose one of the OGs to make up for what he’s missing.
