Hi all! I'm looking for a job in London, and thought I'd try asking on here.
My main career has been in B2B digital marketing (for over 14 years), but I resigned a job last April to go travelling and have struggled to find anything since my return last October. Never seen a job market so bad.
At this point I'd take anything, at least for a while, with a few small exceptions (delivery driver). I've done a lot of different jobs in my past, and can do physical work too.

I have been seeing many posts here related to how exmus wanna date fellow exmus.
I feel quite the same most of the time, facing family and leaving them is hard. Even if they probably never loved the real me, i have loved the real them. Community is vital, and if I ignore the times when the family members were just following the religious teachings, they seem like decent people (not true always)
So I get that marrying an exmuslim and pretending to be a Muslim seems lovely. But then i think about how long I will have to pretend. There would be my partners family too (assuming they are closeted like me) who i would have to deal with.
When I think about this, it all looks more gray to me. It would be like I am in a room and the walls are not there but I can't exit the threshold. So I wonder what's the point of just feeling the air on my face if I can't feel it caressing my hair? I can see the freedom but I can't taste it. How is it any different?
I feel so conflicted about it. I don't know what I will do, I just know I won't tell my family ever. I will leave but i won't fully cut them off (there are exceptions ofcourse like forced marriage etc) And it feels best to keep my intimate life seperate from them. At the same time I want to just marry an exmu and wish to see everyone happy.
So i was wondering what are your plans? If you already have a partner, give me your thoughts? If you wanna just meet exmuslim where do you plan on meeting them?

Hi to all you, thanks for dedicating your time in helping others here. I am reading The Power of Now and I am astonished by the simple practice yet sometimes impossibile of presence, especially in letting the light of consciousness in our daily lives and its application in dissolving old schemes / trauma: it's curious, even before reading this part of book I was of the same idea that you dont need to know every single trauma of your past to be happy today. But just observe it if it comes to you, today.
two years ago I had similar schemes of these last days. I am observing these envious, worried and other emotions belonging to a dififcult period of the poast where I didn't know anything about spirituality. How is it possibile to they to... dissolve? Like, actually, how is it possibile? I stop identify with them, and that gives them less power... but is that enough?
When I fall in love - or maybe my mind - with someone, I always feel envy and jealous about other possibile partners even if it's not possibile! And this, sometimes, block my action or make me do stuff that, thinking clearly after I have done those, are useless or stupid. Like auto-limiting myself or stuff like that. Or thinking that I am not enough. That I am worst than x,y,z.
What would you guys say to a 18-year old? Thank you ❤️
