Been using the ChatGPT advanced voice mode and I like it a lot. However, when you trigger the advanced voice mode, the UI doesn't allow me to upload a PDF or a document.
If I start a new text chat, upload the document and then enable the advanced voice mode, the UI just says to start a new chat.
How do I accomplish this?

2025.01.20 17:55 papanak94 The moment I lowkey knew the game is fcked was when I saw the reception for "In from the cold" quest

I joined XIV during the 2021 WoW exodus. Before EW I managed to pretty much 100% the whole game (outside of hardcore content and professions). I disliked how from ARR (which I liked a lot) to ShB the gameplay to reading/watching ratio went in the favor of the latter, but the story kept me engaged and I had tons of content to do.
I remember how I was impressed when I played this quest. It was the perfect showcase of what games can do over other types of media. Storytelling via gameplay. And then people crying about it. I don't know if it was the majority or loud minority, but it did damage. They nerfed the quest and then we never got anything like it.
During 6.X and 7.0 I realized that I am playing an interactive novel. Something that you can watch on YouTube and get the same experience as playing.
Savage and Ultimate are not for me because they are not reactive, rather proactive gameplay.
The only real gameplay fun I had was Eureka/Bozja and Deep Dungeons solo, but the former can be fairly quickly be completed, and the latter suffers from low level tedium after you wipe.
I now came back to WoW, and I really enjoy the gameplay and all the different content you can push even solo. But the overdesign, dead old expansion content, and amount of grinds for every single facet of the game is offputting.
I wish there was a game that is a mix of XIV/WoW, that takes the best of both.

Look, I enjoy a well-written mystery as much as everyone else. Well, maybe not quite as much as some of the people who post here. But seeing post after post analyzing every frame in detail for some foreshadowing I sometimes get the feeling the part of the show that isn't the mystery gets lost. Of course, the mysteries are what generates discussion, it's fun to speculate. But I don't watch it for the mystery.
I watch it because it's perhaps the first satirical work since Terry Pratchett's death that actually makes me feel seen. That points out the absurdities of the an office job in a modern megacorporation in ways that make me certain the creators have actually worked a meaningless office job in a large corporation.
The video about the "Macrodat uprising" the team is shown in the break room reduced me to hysterical laughter. Not because it was so absurd, but because it captured perfectly well the infantilizing internal communication of large corporation, with just enough exaggeration to be funny instead of just depressing, complete with liminal threats barely disguised as rewards.
The obvious metaphor of the innie/outie split mirroring how work often requires us to supress parts of our personalities, how the corporation acts as if it cares about you as a person but really wishes nothing more than for you to be an obedient tool carrying out its requests. And is the sense of accomplishment the innies can feel after pushing around numbers without any evident meaning attached to any of it at all really so different from the satisfaction I am meant to derive from the symbols I push around on a screen all day?
Milkshake's empty smile and threateningly upbeat behavior so perfectly reflective of the empty smiles I see every day in the messages from upper management, where they disguise the firing of thousands as potential for improvement or sell some trivial accommodation ("free snacks") in lieu of actual improvements of working conditions.
How the average corporate environment is so soulless, so devoid of any actual meaning that even something as trite as Rickon's platitudes pose a threat to it, an expression of independent thought that must be suppressed lest it infect the workers. As long as the workers do not know that there is another world out there, it is easier to imagine the end of the world than the end of the corporation.
I could list more of these, and I hope many others could, too. Maybe there aren't so many posts about this because it is more obvious, less open to interpretation than the mysteries.
But I'm not the only one that enjoys that part, right?

Please let me know if anyone has found a graphics setting that solves the constant screen tearing and 5fps you get in town.
The game becomes borderline unplayable when there are lots of enemies/casting skills quickly.
I have tried the lowest graphics settings on bilinear with only shadows active, and FSR with GI and shadows and native AA and the performance is just as bad as what i assumed was the ultra performance mode.

Da ich relativ Tech überzeugt bin gibt es da einige Dopplungen durch die ETFs das ist mir bewusst, falls da jemand noch eine andere Idee hat gerne raushauen
