To delete a column in a DataFrame, I can successfully use: del df['column_name'] But why can't I use the following? del df.column_name Since it is possible to access the Series via df.column_name... I have an R data frame with 6 columns, and I want to create a new data frame that only has three of the columns. Assuming my data frame is df, and I want to extract columns A, B, and E, this is the... @MattCochrane - Almost every time that I have found Pandas to be slow, I have found a different pandas method that is much faster later on or realised I was doing things weirdly backward. How can I select rows from a DataFrame based on values in some column in Pandas? Anime recommendations
Alr. Im a fucked up individual, I must say, as my taste in anime is very weird. I only watch animes that have a good drawing style, and also I only like animes that are unique in some way, some examples:
plot wise, Hunter x Hunter
Power level/scaling, like Jojo's
Character building wise, like Banana fish
World building wise like TBATE (manwha), Solo leveling
I like when the plot has a dark tone, like berserk, but I also like when the mc isn't the strongest, nor the weakest, like in Code Geass. I love it when there are either supernatural powers included, like in Tokyo Revengers and Re:Zero, and I also like it when the mc is more of a team player, rather than a lone wolf. Extra points if the mc hates relying on side cast, but has to, like Wind breaker.
Soo with this in mind, could someone recommend me an anime or two? Not sure about it, but my most liked genres are probably shonen (ofc not the clishe ones), seinen, dark fantasy, fantasy, action, adventure , supernatural and mistery.

2025.01.20 20:43 OutOfAllThePeopl Can't log into my Activision account and can't get support either [COD]
So, I can't log into my Activision account. I do have the email and the password, but then it asks me for Authenticator app code. My Authenticator app doesn't work tho. So I click on "backup login" to log in with a backup code I supposedly got per email when I activatedf 2FA. Problem is, I never got a backup code and didn't find one in my inbox.
So then I see I have to contact Activision support to get a new backop code. But then I see that I have to LOG IN to contact activision support in the first place. So i can't log in, therefor eI need help to log in, but to get any help I have to log in.
What the hell.
So basically I will never be able to contact activision support and I will never get a new backup code and never be able to log into my account?
Am I stupid or is the system stupid? How do I solve this issue.

So as the title suggests. I want to properly know what I made so I don't use stains and dyes interchangeably.
last year I collected some walnut hulls and boiled the heck out them, strained it and collected the dye/stain into 3 jars. To one jar I addes some Naphta, the other one i added white spirits.
So now I wonder, did i make a dye or a stain?

Esco in terrazza un paio di volte a sfiatare il gas di troppo, simulando telefonate importanti, ma poi mi rendo conto che la situazione sta degenerando. Purtroppo siamo un discreto numero di persone in un appartamento di media dimensioni, e qualunque utilizzo del bagnetto provocherebbe rumori molesti e soprattutto odori insostenibili. Fossero amici stretti annuncerei l'atto con orgoglio, fossero semi-estranei me ne sbatterei i coglioni, ma purtroppo sono quegli amici un po' a metà strada con cui non hai abbastanza confidenza da fare una figura - di merda - del genere. In conclusione, saluto tutti e prendo la macchina per tornare a casa e salvarmi il culo. Per strada, scariche irreversibili piegano il colon. Gestire i pedali dell'auto mentre ti irrigidisci sul sedile e stringi le chiappe per non imbrattarti di merda, è un'impresa titanica. A un semaforo devo per forza lasciare andare leggermente la tensione, e purtroppo la muraglia cede. Una colata di merda fumante mi riempie i boxer. Un pensiero, dio cane maledetto la macchina nuova. Accosto con le 4 frecce, esco a gambe strettissime e recupero un cartone della pizza da buttare che avevo nel bagagliaio. Me lo metto sul sedile sperando che basti a salvare il salvabile. Arrivo a casa, il cartone è un po' sporco ma il sedile non puzza neanche, l'abitacolo invece ha annusato giorni migliori. Entro in casa trionfante, urlando alla mia fidanzata "Amore, MI SONO CAGATO ADDOSSO" e via in doccia

Hey, I’m planning a trip to Brazil from the UK in September and just needed some advice on my planned itinerary? Does it sound like im trying to do too much?
I kind of have it planned like this:
Spend 5 nights in sao paulo, keep my accommodation here with the majority of my luggage and take a flight to foz do iguacu to see the waterfalls for 2 nights.
Fly back to sao paulo and then either fly, coach or rental car to Rio. What do you think is the best option? I was hoping to spend 1 night in paraty if i had a rental car but also was thinking to visit ouro preto from rio. Are paraty & ouro similar places? Are they both worth visiting or just one? If just one, which one?
Spend 4 nights in rio, keep my accommodation here and take a coach to ouro preto for 2 nights. Then travel from ouro preto to brasilia for 1 or 2 nights and then back to rio to fly back to the uk.
Ideally I’d like to see the whole country but its not possible in the roughly 3 weeks work holiday i have left. Could you guys recommend any places iv missed out or make any adjustments to my planned itinerary. I haven’t booked any flights yet.

Jag har en liten vit prick på höger halsmandel. Har haft halsfluss nån gång innan men de var fler och större, pricken känns lite om man vickar på tungan längst bak men jag känner bara att den är där inget annat. Det är bara en och jag känner inget konstigt när jag sväljer och känner mig hel frisk. Är detta ett tidigt steg av halsfluss elr är det bara nån blåsa eller nåt. Tack för svar 👍
