Hello everyone, I graduated 2017 and worked as a software engineer for a 2 years before transfering to Technical Product Manager but had to step away to help family at the beginning of 2020. I've been trying to make the transition back into tech either as a PM or SWE but it just seems like a impossible battle.
Entry roles flat out rejects interviewing me and anytime I do get an interview, even if i get through the technical part I see the interviewers face sour when they see on my resume that I havent been in tech for 4 years.
Ive been doing leetcode pretty religiously but outside of that I feel like I dont actually know how to code anymore since I dont have day to day practice with non-leetcode related programming.
How should I best approach applying and interviewing? Would getting a masters be the only way for me to get more interviews? Are there any tools you guys can recommend that would get me back up to speed in other areas other than leetcode? Thanks a bunch.

Online ordering should be done through the resturant specificly, then they should send that order out to all delivery apps to have each app compete for the order. Or something of the like.
The demand is there , if they just suddenly switched up the process, everyone would figure out how to order; we all still want delivery.

2025.01.20 21:50 LambertianTeapot I thought I needed to titrate up - but not really!
I'm on my 6th week of 2.5mg. During my 5th week, I experienced significant food noises and a compulsion to eat starting from day 3. I thought it is the time to titrate up but somehow decided to give it another week. Surprisingly, after taking my 6th shot, the strong appetite suppression returned and I'm actually feeling fuller on day 6 of my 6th shot (today) than I did on days 3-4 of my 5th shot.
Lo and behold: here is the most likely root cause. I realised the culprit behind this nonlinearity was probably my period, which coincided with my 5th shot and made it seem less effective. I hadn't made this connection until today. I didn't realise my cycle could have such a strong impact on my actual appetite because I was perpetually eating beyond fullness.

So I'm currently Pyrous Mountain rn, I have gone through it previously with Cain but ended up at the 1st floor (Didn't find the Camelrupt) Now when I go up the 1st ladder the walkway for me to progress is filled with lava. The front cover was a cloud and it was called like "Angel" or that was one of the names of the characters (they all had ambiguous, non-standard names) and it had a cloud with two guys legs and they were holding hands. 2025.01.20 21:50 Infinite-Visit-2213 Result of guitar nut replace by luthier - please let me know if it's acceptable
Hi all,
I've bought brand new guitar (Fender Player Telecaster) and I've dropped it off to reputable local luthier for setup
After collecting guitar and playing for few days, I've noticed that few things are a bit concerning:
- it is much harder to play at first frets, especially at treble side, comparing to my other guitars (including acoustic with much thicker 0.12 strings)
- more minor: strings are buzzing at multiple frets (both acoustically and through amplifier)
- Nut is cut really high at treble side (0.9mm between top of first fret and treble E string, comparing to 0.4-0.45mm factory spec and almost all of the recommendations I see online) - on bass side it's much better (~0.6mm), even though online I see it's always recommended for treble side to be lower
- There is some glue/filling next to nut + there small extra laquer next to treble E - looks like paint/wood chipped a bit when removing the nut, which was filled by luthier - especially when lighting it with flashlight, I can see small "crack" on fretboard - I'm not expert, but by looking at tutorial online, it may mean that maybe there was too much glue at factory, and it cracked/chipped when removing old nut?
- Rather minor: neck relief is quite small (measured 0.06", comparing to 0.1/0.15" recommended by Fender) - I imagine it may be due to truss rod settling after set up and it could be fixed by loosening nut a bit, not really a big deal
Mentioned luthier has really good reputation (every single review on google maps is 5 stars) and seemed to be really professional and knowledgable when speaking with them. Wondering if it can be genuine accident, which ofc sometime happens to all of us. I won't mention luthier's name, as if it was genuine mistake which will be corrected, I do not want to affect their reputation
And could you advice me what to do about it (most obvious recommendation would be to ask luthier to fix those issues)?

I don't have much knowledge about enneagram and the thing is: the more I study about it, more confused I get, specially about typing myself. I don't like relying on tests, because I know they aren't very accurate, so I just like studying like I did to MBTI. I also get confused because, according to the majority of users here, these two I mention seem to clash with my MBTI, so I'd rather assume I'm wrong than thinking I'm the exception. The only things I didn't make are my crinoline and the leather goods & jewelry, and the shirt my partner is wearing. Corset is boned with flat steels, and is based off of stays. (I know underbusts weren't actually a thing, don't come for me). The trim on the corset was hand beaded by me. Skirt was two satin skirts off Amazon, which I combined and then draped.
