Hi, im not much of an audiophile but I do enjoy good sound quality and have been using SteelSeries Arctis 9 wireless for about 3 years now (i know) the audio quality is so basic and they aren't very comfortable. Im tired of falling for the "gaming" marketing schemes lol, I dont even use the attached mic or the wireless. The interal DAC in this headset is not great. My motherboard is an N7 Z790 with an ALC 1220 audio codec (idk if that helps in any way) but I really just want something that doesnt feel ridiculous on my head, is over ear, and sounds better than these arctis headphones. I hear really good things about Sennheiser but have no idea what ones to pick for my needs without asking ChatGPT who said the Momentum 4s. My budget is under 300, preferably around 150. I'm open to Open back/closed back, but not earbuds. Haven't found a pair that fits in my unusually small earholes lol.

Would love to discuss this, Idk it’s something I’ve noticed, as if Asian men “aren’t enough” for them and that white seems to be the only option. A greater percentage of short Asian women date about equally.
This isn’t meant to be rude or anything in anyway, I wonder if anyone else sees a trend or if there really isn’t a trend in that due to height.
This is in regards to North America id say I know Asian women still try to find their place as non-token’s all over America (aside from California) and in Canada a lot of Asian women feel welcome and not like token’s unless they’re in rural villages. If there are similar trends elsewhere then do state where you’re seeing them.

I got a job at a Consulting Company in the east cost. Really excited about it because the job market is tough and it's a role I like.
I did some research and I do see others earning a -5k to +10k range of what I got. I believe they'll be having a cohort for this opportunity but curious for opinions on if I should be negotiating.
Will they take my offer away? Should I ask if the salary is negotiable (because I know for some companies every new grad is paid exactly the same)? How should I approach it in email?
Thanks for any advice, I don't know anyone else I can ask since no one in my family is working in corporate so here on reddit.

I’m a guy and I just find the cellphone to be so cringe to use. Talking back and forth is just so ridiculous to me. On top of that I can’t be PC or formal. I’m not saying rude or controversial things, but I’m just sarcastic and essentially talk to them the same way I talk to anybody.
It comes across though as like they’re a “bro” or something. I just find it ridiculous tbh. I can’t be intimate or date someone who I’m not friends with underneath, or at least someone with a same level of realness. I can’t be reserved or take it slow. I’ll make jokes like I’ve known them for years.
I find the female need to be courted and All this romanticism to be very cringe and wrong. I think it actually kills love. Not furthers it. It’s like I just want a best friend like who can communicate like a dude, that I’m intimate with.. no expectations, no demands. Where she doesn’t feel unattractive or weird because I’m not flirting or being romantic / teasing.. like I just can’t do any of that lol.
And it’s mistaken for lack of interest or me being a dick or doesn’t provide them butterflies idk.. please tell me there are some women who can just kick it and chill like a homie but still want to jump their man’s bones sexually?

2025.01.21 00:43 Moonpotato11 Ski Public Transit Trip Report: Arapahoe Basin
Today I took the Snowstang to A-basin. This will be a shorter report; if you want more general details about the Snowstang, check out my report on taking the Snowstang to Copper.
A lot of you clearly didn’t learn to ski in the -2F freezing fog of northern Idaho — due to the cold, the bus, I-70, and the parking lots were as empty as I’ve ever seen them on a holiday. The bus had about 12 people, and I invited 3 of them. Two of those people asked the bus driver if the bus would continue on to Copper when we arrived at A-basin, which brings me to a tip: the Snowstangs all go to one mountain, so make sure you get on the right one. They are pretty well labeled inside and outside, so I don’t think it’s super difficult to confirm. The bus left fed center maybe 10 minutes late (scheduled 6:35) and got to A-basin at 8:30 (scheduled 8:10). The road was mildly snow packed, but pretty alright. Things unsurprisingly go better without traffic, though there was a brief stop at the tunnel to send hazmat trucks through (or something, I was napping). The Snowstang never goes over Loveland Pass, which, while probably prudent for a big bus, does slow the trip down a bit. As for the skiing, A-basin didn’t fill their lower lot and never opened the backside (Booooo!). Snow was a bit slow, but it was a nice time. My rage about people driving to the mountains alone kept me warm early on, but it got tougher to stay out in the cold in the afternoon. The bus left A-basin on schedule at 4:10, and we were back early to Fed Center after an uneventful drive at 5:45 (6:15 scheduled)
As a final thought, A-basin is a really great place to ride the Snowstang. You avoid paying for a parking reservation and are likely to get a ticket even if the reservations are gone. Additionally, it parks right next to the lodge, saving non-negligible time compared to walking from the upper lots.
