2025.01.20 22:22 Marilyn_Mannequin Ongoing eye issue in dog, seeking insight
Species: Dog Age: 8 Sex/Neuter Status: Male, neutered Breed: Australian Shepherd Weight: 55lb
Relevant History: No prominent history of eye issues, no known allergies (suspected spring allergies from grass, evidenced by seasonal paw licking and sneezing), no history of dental problems or ear infections.
Clinical Signs: About 5 weeks ago dog started showing signs of excess eye goop from both eyes, and visible third eyelid tissue going over eye near tear duct on one eye. Dog did not display any signs of pain or distress (no pawing, squinting, etc). He was seen by vet after 1 week of symptoms. He was given Neo Poly Dex ointment, which we applied as directed, to no effect. Was seen once more and recommended if it didn't resolve he would refer to opthalmologist. Issue seemingly resolved at 2 weeks. After approximately 1 week, new symptoms emerged (see photo below). It now appears in one eye there is inflammation of the tissue near the outer lower corner of the eye, and over the past several days his third eyelid is now visible and eye is goopy, particularly in the morning. Again, he shows no real signs of distress, expect I have noticed him pawing at his eye only a few times. The vet essentially said we just need to see an opthalmologist. They are rare around these parts, and I currently have an initial appointment booked for March. My hope is to attempt to gain insight into what this could be, or how concerning, if I need to be more proactive in seeking a sooner appointment or seek urgent care.
Duration: ongoing approximately 2 weeks Location: Seattle area, WA Test/X-Ray/Vet Reports: During initial eye irritation, vet did visual test, tear production test, black light test to assess for visible injury, all tests normal.

Idk if anyone will relate, but now being done and just having to wait for the scores I’m low key missing the prep?? Like every morning for the last 3 months, I started the day with JY from 7sage’s melodious voice saying how stupid the answer choice I selected was. It got to the point the concepts were so ingrained in my mind, I was watching a JD Vance interview about immigration (I don’t control what my gym plays on tv) and almost shouted out “he’s arguing on the basis of a necessity/sufficiency confusion!”
This prep period was kind of like a great toxic relationship where you know it’s gonna destroy you if you don’t get out. But then after a few days of being out, you’re like, “wait a second I kind of miss arguing with her about why my location is no longer showing up on her phone.”
Idk man, prob sounds stupid. And, considering the decent chance I didn’t quite get the score I wanted, there’s a good chance I’ll be back on the grind anyway. But still. It’s kinda like 3 hours a day I now have nothing to do. I’ve been reading Jane Eyre so I can continue to confuse myself with the convoluted syntax I so much grew to love on RC (Mr Rochester doesn’t have Heathcliff’s aura tho idk). I’ve also been watching the show about the dude whose wife fell down the staircase’s trial to get hype for one day joining the legal profession. But still man, it doesn’t quite hit like a 5/5 difficulty 10 question LR problem set.
Am I insane?

For the last few weeks YouTube hasn’t been working on my phone? It just loads and loads and then if I try and search anything it just says error. I’m connected to internet, it’s updated, idk what’s going on? The only thing I can possibly think of is that my phone isn’t updated to iOS 18.2.1
It also works perfectly fine in my iPad so that confuses me a bit more

Ho 26 anni e sono da poco tornato in Abruzzo dopo un periodo fuori regione per motivi di studio. Sono uno studente universitario, appassionato di fotografia, musica, letteratura e videogiochi. Sarebbe bello poter conoscere persone con interessi simili ai miei, coetanei o anche più grandi di me volendo, con cui uscire e fare qualcosa di semplice insieme, come giocare a giochi di ruolo, una birra in compagnia in qualche pub, o magari qualche escursione fuori città quando farà bel tempo. Sarò in zona anche quest’estate, perciò se a qualcuno di voi andrebbe di fare nuove amicizie magari potremmo mettere su un gruppetto :)

They gave us this class in uni that lasts about a month in which we have to make a CRUD web API in C#, despite none of us ever having learnt C# as part of the curriculum. I know, weird.
What are some good learning resources to make a web API with Dotnet, using the Clean architecture (bonus points if it uses MongoDB)? I saw some tutorials in the official docs on Minimal APIs, but that doesn't seem to be what I'm looking for.
Any help would be appreciated! I already have experience making simple CRUD APIs in Spring Boot with Java.

I tried to tussle with him early and alone. Didn't make it past the first wave of minions. Worked the smaller storm dungeons and improved my weapons, got all the runes, etc. Went against him with Lionbrand twice and got the W handily.
Question: I gave Lionbrand a fully-runed weapon - unsure if the 'runed' benefits transfers to an NPC, anyone know? Also, any point of giving NPC a Rifted weapon or even a Legendary weapon?

My Dr. has me on 2.5 mg of Amlodipine in the morning and 50 mg of Metoprolol at night.
Another Dr. I spoke with said that 'Metoprolol' can be hard on the system and is a strong drug where as 'Amlodipine' is much easier on the liver.
- Any truth to this rumor ?
- if so, should I drop the Metoprolol ?
