Of course, I messed up at some point, but when? That is the question.
Well, let’s go back to the time when things were actually decent. No drama, no responsibilities, no overthinking, no illnesses, no school stress or at least not as much. The time when I was dying to get to where I am right now; a time when I didn’t realize how silly my dreams were.
A 14-year-old boy; a smart, fun, energetic and loved one who’s about to start his high school life. My ambitions were skyrocketing after seeing my grades and being aware of what I can achieve. “Oh boy! This about to be lit” said the 14 years old me.
The year started great. I will be taking classes with my friends from the hood; what could be better than this? Fortunately, there was a thing, a heavy laptop that my dear father bought me. “ here is to help you with your studies little fella” said my father. Unfortunately, that wasn’t fortunate. I like to believe that that was the start of it all.
As that year was going by, my uncle was getting married. “My youngest uncle is finally getting married ” was the constant phrase wandering in my mind the day he told us. He got married to a lovely woman who later converted to Islam and took the name Zainab for herself. Zainab spoke English most of the time and that was everything I wanted to be able to do at the time; speak English. “ wait! I have a laptop, and I can afford some internet?” I asked myself. Let’s learn some.
Like every boy with or without a computer back in the day, I created a Facebook account and put my finest pictures on there. Day after day I became more knowledgeable about what is going on on the internet. My English was improving, no doubt, but I needed interactions with natives. “What do I do?” I started asking as if it was the end of the world if I couldn’t figure out a way.

I've had sesamoiditis in my right foot for almost 2 years now. I've tried every conservative treatment you can think of, as well as PRP, stemwave, ultrasound, cold laser and prolotherapy with no luck. Several x rays and 1 MRI have not identified any fracture or even any abnormality other than inflammation.
I've been trying to avoid any type of surgery, but finally got an Orthopedic surgeon's opinion recently. They recommended "sesamoid shaving" surgery. I had never heard of such a thing, did some Googling on this procedure and couldn't find much information. Has anyone had this procedure done or recommended by their doctor?

2025.01.20 22:30 TempestuousTangerine Considering the Mazda 2 2.0L… What should i know?
Hi everyone! I’m not sure if this is the right place for answers, but i’m looking into buying a 2.0L Mazda 2. As far as i know, it’s only available in the mexican and colombian markets, so i'd love to hear from anyone who’s familiar with it.
Currently, i drive a 2019 Suzuki Swift and i’m thinking of upgrading. The obvious choice might be the Swift Sport, but since 2025 is its final production year and the new model is completely different, i’m hesitant. I don’t want to deal with the hassle of finding parts five or more years down the line.
And then i came across the Mazda 2 with its 2.0L engine, and i fell in love. But after reading some reviews, i’ve seen mixed opinions. Some say it’s underwhelming, slow, and not sporty at all (even with its twin pipes!). Others mention it’s front-heavy, and that the 1.5L version might actually handle better since it was designed for it. Plus, it’s built on an older chassis, so i wonder if there might be an update coming soon. Some youtubers even say that there's absolutely no reason to buying such a car… (except it's pretty, i guess?).
I’ve also thought about the Mazda 3 Turbo, but my priorities are to stick with a small car. The Mazda 2 is already longer and much heavier than my Swift, and the Mazda 3 is a bit above my budget and much much longer. I could save for another year to make it easier to pay, but honestly, I’d rather not go for a larger vehicle.
So, my main question is: Is the 2.0L Mazda 2 really as slow and underwhelming as some reviews suggest? Or is it worth considering? Should i consider another car entirely?

Cost & time & Recipe: 7.4 lbs of chicken breast --> 3318g raw / 122g a serving = 30 servings of 25g protein or 10 servings at 75g protein per meal.
- 2 meals a day with 75g protein / serving = 330 cal from protein & 143 cal from veggies
- $9 for carrots, $8 for 2 bags of broccoli, $23 for 7.3 lbs of chicken (Costco) = $5.2 ish a day for protein and fiber.
- I get the other two macros from my work (oats & nuts on tap)
- Pressure cooked the meat for ~40 mins, heat up, 9 min cook time, 25 min release.
- At the same time I cooked 2 rounds of veggies in my air frier.
- Seasoned the chicken after shredding and veggies after roasting
- 2.5 ish hours to cook and assemble and cool my meals
