I experienced a bug in squads that I've seen some people mention in Reddit.
The latest patch has had performance issues for many users - specifically map and textures loading (and FPS and freezes).
It is possible to temporarily limit your specs (or just use poor hardware) and you will die in the lobby (because it's not loaded properly) by loading under the map.
You then go to spectate mode. When the battlebus starts, you can immediately "leave the battle bus" but you spawn at centre of map.

2025.01.20 22:30 poopeater900 my brain hasn’t gone back to normal and it’s been a year
a year ago i was smoking weed everyday. i started to abuse datura, shrooms, cold medicine, and coke. that was for about 3-4 months. I kept smoking. it got to a point where i had multiple panic attacks a day, and couldn’t make it through a full day at school. even when i was sober things looked over saturated, and would sway. and inanimate objects looked like faces everywhere. i stopped everything except smoking and popping a vicodin like once every other month and that was 10 months ago. i don’t have weird visuals anymore, or panic attacks. however, now i can’t talk to people like i used to, and my brain goes blank when i want to talk. im a lot more aware too, i feel like before i was just living mindlessly. i don’t connect or feel bonds with people like i used to either, and haven’t formed any new meaningful connections since then. now i only smoke at night and just want to figure out what is wrong with me. does anyone know what might be up? it’s ridiculous atp.

I live in the Joliet area and couldn't help but notice there is a "Betty's" or a slot machine place on almost every corner. I've even seen 3 Betty's establishments all within a mile from each other. On top of that they have slots in a lot of restaurants. It's getting out of hand. Is this just a thing to take money from boomers? Are these places all over by you?

Hello all.
I have an Acer Aspire A515-45 laptop which I bought two years ago. Since a few weeks ago, the charger has been somewhat malfunctioning, the battery charges with a normal speed but the charger in some moments stops working if I move the laptop, although it's normally not so frequent.
However, since two days ago, it's gotten to a point where my laptop gets slow upon reaching certain level of battery. It works perfectly between like 60-65% and 100% of the charge, then it starts to get slow, for example, Google Chrome freezes like twice or thrice a minute and then goes back to normal for some seconds, albeit slow, then happens again. I leave it charging until 100%, turn off the device and then turn it on again, and starts working normally again.
The laptop also gets very hot when it freezes. Is this an issue with the charger or would you say the battery also has a problem too?

I’ve been trapped in this hell since I was 14. Now I’m 20, finally diagnosed, and utterly exhausted. Strangely, things feel worse since the diagnosis. Maybe it’s the weight of finally understanding that there’s a valid reason behind my actions. People think my little rituals are “cute” or “quirky,” but they don’t realize the crushing reality. If I don’t move the carpet with my right hand every time I enter a room, I’m convinced something terrible will happen to someone I care about.
I feel so alone in this. The number seven is etched into my brain like a curse. My chest is speckled with tiny bruises because I have to pinch my skin seven times whenever something feels wrong. On the outside, I look normal—the pretty girl from your college class, smiling and composed. But underneath my shirt are the bruises I try to hide, and in my hand is a water bottle I can’t let go of, like it’s the only thing anchoring me. Inside, I feel like a disaster.
I’m so damn lonely.
