Has anyone cancelled internet / satellite services with Bell and have them tell you that you own the modems and receivers - only to have them send you a 2K bill 6 months later saying you owe them equipment? They sent us a bill for 2K saying we have to send them back the equipment we were told we own. And they also say we owe 8 satellite receivers when we only ever had 5 because when we had service installed they told us we couldn’t have more than 5 in a household. Now they say we owe them 8. We went back the interment modem, and 5 receivers we had, even after being told we own them. When their own tech guy who came to upgrade our equipment in the spring, I think it was, he took 3 of the old ones and upgraded 3 to HD PVRs. So essentially their own tech stole equipment and now we’re on the hook for it? I’m tired of fighting with cubical workers who hardly speak English and just keep saying “they’ve escalated the ticket” to this department or that department. Today I got a letter in the mail that was printed January 14th, I received it today (January 20th) saying if payment is not received by January 21, they are sending everything to collections. Meanwhile, as I sit on hold right now, they’re telling me there was an adjustment made January 15th saying they only received 4 receivers not the 5.
I’m so frustrated. A multi million dollar company is stealing and scamming (shocking I know). Their own tech guy took the equipment. So I’m at a loss. We just keep getting told an escalation manager will call us in 6-9 hours and we never hear anything.
Looking for help from anyone at this point.

 | I have a 2006 vw gti with 114k I recently replaced the engine and went to start, it wouldn’t start. The next night the fans and everything start to come on, so I looked into the ecu it looks fine to me but I’m not sure,the wiring harness was chew up by rodents and I’m worried about the timing circuit because that’s what codes it had before the engine replacement and the wiring chewed up and all, worried if I repair this wiring that if the ecu blew up will blow my timing again. Hey everyone, I've been a Spotify user for over 10 years now and I am consistently disappointed by Spotify's experience on mobile. It's clunky and feels like I'm having junk waved in my face every time I open the app. I just want to listen to my music! It feels like it's constantly getting more and more difficult to just access the music that I added to my library. Along with this, there are a number of complaints I have with features. One of them being the limit of 4 pins. I kind of rely on pins to show me my music first, but it's super limiting at 4. And it seems like this is one of the top complaints in the Spotify community. So when I can't pin an item and have to tap and scroll and search through the app to find it, it's annoying! The dashboard looks more and more like the controls on a spaceship. I'm trying to listen to music, not go to space.
So I built an app that gives me more pins. It's not the perfect solution, but it's a start. I no longer feel overwhelmed whenever I want to listen to music, and it's quickly become my goto app when I just want to put something on. I hope to continue adding helpful features to the app and would like to have some people steering me in the right direction, so any feedback is appreciated! Just completed my postgrad here, searching for jobs in both UK and my home country (mostly home country tbh).
Linkedin is so... dystopian(?). I feel I know nothing. I have no skills. I feel useless.
My friend advised me to "sell" myself better to get offers. Make my resume "fluffy". I tried but I can't pretend I'm Einstein. It feels weird. I feel like a telemarketer sometimes, an OF girl even lmao trying to sell "content".
Everyone is designing, creating, collaborating, spearheading, masterminding some tech or project that sounds like a ground breaking invention. And here I am with some childish projects in github. Ofcourse for some, if you simplify the words they use, you realize they probably made super nice spreadsheets or sm idk. Everyone is hustling something, grinding something. Some have a ton of certificates and achievements.
Linkedin is stressing me out. Its depressing.

So when I was a kid my sister use to make me mixed CD’s. There was this song that I can barely remember, but I just remembered liking it.
I believe it was by The Killers. It would have to have been made before 2009.
I remember the intro and the outro were a different melody than the majority of the song. It was louder, and had a spooky vibe. It had two singers. The person who I believe is Brandon Flowers and then a deeper man’s voice singing the last bit of the song.
The song reminded me of spooky forest tree branch’s, if that helps.
The song might not even be by the killers. I’m not sure if this is enough to go on to find the song.
I’ve already asked my sister if she remembered the song and she didn’t.

Hi everyone, as you may know, 2026 apps for BB SA positions opened a few weeks ago. For context, I'm a math-cs major and econ minor at a school closely affiliated with an Ivy. I also don't have any S&T/banking internships on my resume yet, but have been part of programs.
I haven't applied yet because I think I still need to network more and raise my GPA a bit. However, by the time this semester is over, I think it'll be too late.
When would it be considered too late to apply to these 2026 roles, and if it looks like I'm cooked, what's the next best move to target for 2026 summer? Thanks.

Sometimes I feel old and wise and other days I feel like I don’t know anything about anything.
I remember being in a shop a few months ago, a woman and her little kid were in front of me and she said “let the lady past”… she was talking about me and I was thinking “the lady?”
I’m 25 but being called a lady is something I personally label with being a mature kinda woman. Me? I feel like a little girl pretending to do life.
My perception of myself is so warped. I can feel I know exactly who I am then I walk past the mirror and don’t know who I’m looking back at.

Hello! My company runs AV at a local congregation and part of that is livestreaming their Sunday service every week (plus other events when they crop up). They have a PTZ camera system that runs into a Black Magic ATEM Production studio thats being controlled by a Black Magic Advanced Panel for switching and then into a Deck Link Extreme 12G in our stremaing PC. We run off a very powerful VMIX machine that lately has been blue screening. We are working with the congregation's IT company to fix that issue but in the meantime we want to provide answers to the congregation about redundancies.
I'm curious if anyone out there has a redundant or back up setup for livestreaming professionally so they can get a stream back up with little to no downtime. Whether that's a second computer ready to go, or some sort of other device that takes the feed independent of the vmix machine. I imagine that will mean splitting the signal coming out of the ATEM before it hits VMIX but not sure what the best backup would be without chaining together a bunch of other devices.
