Vivo en zona oeste yo, buenos aires. Y acá traté d emprender, Pero NADA rinde acá. TODOS literalmente venden de todo a $2 pesos. Obtienen ganancia de 500 pesos de mierda x venta y claramente eso hace que laburen MAS todavía porque no venden las cosas como realmente conviene venderlas teniendo en cuenta: viáticos, mano de obra etc etc, todo depende el producto, Pero siempre hay un gasto aislado a eso y no lo tienen en cuenta. Muchas competencia y no logras nada si vendes las cosas al precio que realmente conviene venderlas.
Perdón, pero necesitaba desahogarme. Y si alguno es copado y me ayudaría a saber dónde buscar laburo, genial. Yo siempre me dediqué a la atención al público y manejo de redes (personalmente).

On Thursday night I went out with a woman who I met on an app. We had been talking for about a week prior. Things went really well and we texted over the weekend, setting up a lunch date for today as we were both off from work. The only slightly weird thing was that she wanted a selfie of us hugging and took a few other photos of me because she wanted to show her sister what i look like or whatever. It kinda felt like something that would happen further down the line when a relationship is getting serious, but I also kinda hate selfies/having my picture taken, so maybe I'm being a little weird too.
I will mention that she is 34, got married at 17 (her only relationship), and has only been divorced since like July or August. It may have been her first date that went well. She also basically escaped an abusive marriage. I just kinda feel like the pressure is on now. She's really sweet but almost in a child-like way.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot because it just happened to me, and honestly, I’m confused and hurt a bit. I was talking to this guy—great conversations, so many shared interests, and everything seemed to be going well. We even met in real life, and it felt like we had a good connection. And then, out of nowhere—he ghosted. No explanation, no goodbye, no closure. Just complete silence.
So here I understand that not every connection is meant to last forever or what. People grow apart, feelings change and sometimes things just don’t click. And that’s okay.
What’s not okay is ghosting. Why not just say something? A simple, “Hey, I don’t think this is working out” would’ve been enough. At least I’d have had some clarity. Instead, I’m left sitting here overanalyzing every single thing I said or did, wondering what went wrong.
I just don’t get it. Ghosting feels so impersonal, so disrespectful. It’s not just about ending the connection—it’s about how it leaves the other person questioning their worth. To the guy who ghosted me, and anyone else who ghosts Why? Would it really have been so hard to send a message?
To whomever reading this Have you ever ghosted someone? If so, why? And to those who’ve been ghosted—how do you move on from the silence? Because right now, I’m struggling to let it go.

 | Public Service Announcement: I see misattribution among the wider Saint Bernard family (not necessarily just on this subreddit) that our breed is named after St. Bernard of Clairvaux. It’s an easy mistake because he seems to be the more famous of the Saints named Bernard. He’s on more Catholic Saint medallions. There are more statues of Bernard of Clairvaux. His writings are more commonly read and quoted than the other Bernard saints. Even his poetry is used as some of the lyrics to Christian hymns outside of Catholicism. He’s just more visible. Bernard of Clairvaux was also lover of dogs. I have one of his more lovely quotes on my wall: “Qui me amat, amet et canem meum” (Latin: He who loves me will love my dog also). But it is actually St. Bernard of Menthon (sometimes referred to as St. Bernard of Aosta or also Bernard of Montjoux), patron saint of skiers and mountaineers, that founded the Great St. Bernard Hospice and trained the herding dogs of Valais that would become our beloved breed. This all might seem rather stuffy and unnecessarily pedantic of me to write this in a subreddit that’s all about cute photos and fun.
