I loved them when I heard Freefall, and got into their Audiotree performance after tripping acid. Awesome and helped calm me down. Now that I’m older, and make more of my own music, I’m wondering how to make something similar or beautiful with the same aspects. I always noticed the layered vocal harmonies, and grooves, but now I’m really thinking this stuff is somehow so complex yet straightforward. I know it’s a full band, not just one guy, but I started noticing things like evolving syncopation, multiple instruments layered serving different purposes, even at times there will be huge lush chords followed by a single note, seemingly making the melody so poignant as to directing the listener while also avoiding overdoing it. They’re awesome. Wonder what I’ll do…

Going to lay out my situation and goal here first and what I think are relevant points. Would love guidance.
Trying to do what is practical and not spend unnecessary money but OK spending a few grand as a one time cost.
Situation: Moving to one of the larger, newer houses in town which is one of the “safer towns” but I’m not naive and grew up with cops. Home has a typical alarm box in basement and a couple panels but was never set up, some motions.
Goal: not be a target in the first place, have a security posture that has redundancies, has physical reinforcements. I simply want someone to walk into my house and not think it’s worth tipping someone off on but if they do- want it to become not worth their while.
House: in a cul-de-sac with a walkway on side of house where behind backyard is a driveway into a school. Two entryways through garages into house, sliding back door, front door, door on side of house that walks into a partially finished basement. Basement has those typical small high windows. Double hung windows. Front door has windows next to it that give access to interior lock. On a half acre
