2025.01.21 01:20 Fast_Manner_3437 Fiberglass Patching or Other Sealing
My tub developed a leak 2 years ago. Chased it down to two of the seat air bubbler jets. Never used them anyway so I drained the tub and used caulk to fill and seal all 14. This worked great for 2 years. Now one or more is leaking again.
Instead of just recaulking, I am planning to use fiberglass to patch over them.
I'm thinking that using a fiberglass hole patch kit would work with proper prep.
I'd love some thoughts on the plan.

I love veggie heavy stir fry, with asian style (chinese, vietnamese, japanese) sauces etc. but my fiancee can't stand the taste of soya sauce/ hoisin etc.
I have all the typical stir fry veggies (broccoli, zucchini, carrot, onion, garlic, peas, edamame, water chestnuts, etc.), buckwheat noodles, ramen noodles, rice noodles as well as a pretty well stocked pantry. I am also willing to run to the store to pick up anything else I might need.

2025.01.21 01:20 Due-Personality-643 Wanting to Pass Off An Often Discussed Mystery
First I'd like to say I do not need an update in any way from this post. Hopefully that satisfies not violating rule 4, 5, and 6.
Secondly, I do NOT know of any laws broken in regards to rule 1. This is simply a feeling from multiple discussions on the odd circumstance.
The meat: I encountered someone twice in border locations between multiple year gaps. (North border to Canada and South Border to Mexico) I happened to notice he refused to give us his name both times. "I'm the manager". Naturally my group of friends was astonished at the luck, however the "Manager" FIRMLY denied the possibility we met him before.
"I'm never been that way" -Him
He was VERY charistmatic and we actually all let it go. Except one member of our group checked their snapchat history and found a portion of a video he was in.
He was stunned when we ended up having a video of him the first time. He finally admitted it was him and we moved on when we could sense his discomfort.
After much conversation I've arrived at....
- Criminal action some capacity. Smuggling... Launderying money... Fake Idenity? (Why I'm submiting this)
- A private man who miracously encountered my travel group twice.
- An honest to go god witness protection person. (I'm okay knowing this person will not be located by members of this group. I checked today and the business he acquried the second time has changed ownership after our encounter)
If anyone wants to take time to check this out, PM me and I'll give you further details.
Hopefully this meets the requirements of this community and is intersting enough for someone to want to look into.
If no one does I suppose I'll vacation at the location again and look up the ownership name of the second location.

 | Hello! My old Herschel bag broke (pop quiz 25L) and I was given a $90 gift card for the warranty on my old backpack. I’m going on a 4.5 month exchange program in Madrid this week and need a new backpack. I need a backpack I can use while I travel on small weekend trips that can fit a couple changes of clothes and whatnot. I also need to make sure it is protective enough of my laptop. I’m very disappointed in how much the new Pop quiz back pack quality has fallen compared to my own. It doesn’t have a felt padded laptop sleeve anymore, now it’s just a nylon pocket kinda with I believe a false bottom. The Kaslo backpack seems to be better quality is it also 5L bigger. It also includes felt lining in the laptop pouch that seems to be padded. Will I be able to use the Kaslo backpack as a personal item? Should I get the Pop Quiz and buy a separate laptop sleeve as well and use that together? Or should I get the Kaslo without a laptop sleeve which is 5 L bigger and looks to have more padding and fleece lined in the laptop compartment. Hello. I'm an International student who just finished his studies in ON. I am waiting for my degree completion letter from college since last 3 weeks. Since my results are already out so I am not allowed to work at this moment. My employer gave ne two weeks which is about to be end on this Thursday. They are saying if by this Thursday I can't come back to work then I'll have to resign. I don't have any other option at this moment since I am unauthorized to work. But after applying for the work permit or after receiving the work permit can I apply for my EI? Will it be approved?
I am aware with the voluntary quiting reason but here I have no choice.

My sister at 16 years old said she wanted to work in a classroom and she got her masters in Education and has been teaching elementary school kids for 14 years. I envy people like her who just knew what they wanted and stuck to it. I'm not one.
When it comes to a job, I value my mental health too much to work in something I hate, even if it means making my mortgage payment. But sitting here thinking, I guess I also don't know what job I'd LIKE either. LOL. I'd say I know what I don't want more than I know what I do want. I went to college and got a history degree because history I enjoyed. My dad and mom said "Go to university." And I said "If I go, I am picking something I enjoy. I'll never finish the 4 years, otherwise." I picked history.
Anyway, these thoughts have been circulating since I graduated in 2013. And every time I really feel like "going for something," job wise,I stop and ask how happy I'll be in 5 to 10 years. And it immobilizes me.
So, I ask, What made you choose your career path? Was it simply money? Did happiness factor at all? You spend at least 40hr per week doing the tasks you're paid to do. Shouldn't you enjoy it somewhat? You know your coworkers almost as well as you know your family. How do you balance your mental health with supporting basic needs?
