I’m in Houston and all of our studios are closed from this evening until Wednesday at 2 pm (tentatively). Which, to be clear, they TOTALLY should be because this city cannot deal with snow and ice (and our drivers are terrible on warm and sunny days!), so the poor coaches and SAs shouldn’t have to drive in.
But I love inferno and am super bummed that I might miss it! Hopefully my studio can open safely Wednesday afternoon but even then I doubt I’ll PR since I am a chronic morning workout gal (and morning person generally) who is le tired by 5 pm.

2025.01.21 02:10 simmons1183 I’m planning to be a Dad next year. My parents split when I was 5 and my dad was not a great one. Is therapy something I need to explore to ensure I don’t make the same mistakes? Maybe just some books to read etc?
I consider myself emotionally intelligent and have a decent time looking at personal experiences pretty objectively… I don’t feel like I have a lot of wounds or issues with my old man these days as I get why he is the way he is. But, part of me is terrified of being a “bad dad,” based on my lack of personal experience. Idk that therapy is right for me, but idk that it’s not. What say you, maybe just some guidance in the way of books to read? Or do I need to talk to someone.

Hello,
I purchased a 2011 ford fusion hybrid and I did the battery age reset and the regenerative breaks started acting up . I went to the dealer and they did the software update but the regenerative breaks still not working and the car been running on gas. Also, the battery voltage is really high .. anyone know the issue or had these problems?

How do the rest of you go about asking for time alone from your partner Particularly when you don't live together, thus every moment together feels more temporary, if that makes sense. Which means I feel worse if I need low stimulation on a certain day (meaning minimal social interactions, including with them.)
I do have an incredibly kind partner who knows that I alternate between introverted and extroverted. They know a lot about autism and why it's not personal. At the same time, it still gives me anxiety when I feel I really need alone time even though we're hanging out.
They've told me many times that I shouldn't feel bad about this. Which is great. The problem here is me, and I know that. I have huge issues with rejection and have to fight my instincts to push myself aside and let the other person be in control and take all my attention. that's my habit and i'm working on it. sometimes it seems like my partner loves, respects, and shows compassion to me way better than I do myself.
How do you phrase it kindly? Especially when you don't live with your partner. As much as they say they understand, my partner also struggles with rejection sometimes, and I don't want to hurt them.
