Hi again, thank you all for the advice on how I can improve my mantis owning journey. Since I am now mantis-less, I want to spend some time making a bioactive or more suitable environment for the future. Where I live is currently very cold so I will probably have to wait until late February/march before I can get a new one (I have to order them online), but that gives me lots of time to prepare. Here are some questions I have: 1) What is a good “beginner” mantis? 2) How hard is it to maintain a bioactive enclosure? 3) What other bugs make good pets? (I may get a better mantis enclosure and then use the old one for a different kind of bug) 4) are there any YouTubers that might make good educational mantis-care videos? I used to own hamsters and there was a whole community of people who would make educational videos for proper hamster ownership, I’m wondering if mantises might have the same thing?
I am a high school student who is considering being an entomologist, so I am very interested in learning all that I can about insects, especially through owning them! Thank you all for being so helpful and nice btw, I’ve learned a lot these past few days! 🐞🐛🐜🪲🕷️

My parents have gotten into a pretty heated argument and it was said that "I'm not my dad's son". This hit me hard in particular because my dad for my whole life has been my "superman" if you will. Looking up to him, admiring his hard work just for his perception of me to be completely different. I genuinely don't know how to feel considering he actually is my dad but I've spent my whole life (19 years) trying to get people to appreciate me and it's made me realize that every person I've tried to get close to has always done something to convince me that I'm not important in their life. I have no idea how to move forward being told this considering we all live under one roof. Does anyone have any similar experiences? If so, how did you guys handle it?
Sorry if this is worded very poorly, I'm still going through the emotions of it and my mind isn't completely there.

I'm in a tough situation where my Xperia 1 V is dying and I don't think I can wait til the VII. The VI is just not worth the upgrade in my opinion.
Can anyone tell me their experience of the R9 Pro outside of Japan, preferably if you've imported one to Australia? Does it work on our networks?
I had to change a bunch of settings on my Xperia to make 5G work and I'm happy to do that again.
Anything else you can sell me on the R9 Pro would be great, there's very limited info out there!

2025.01.21 03:30 Shot_Acanthaceae3599 Playing at multiple tables within 2-3 hours with the same chips + Players Card screwed up my Win / Loss.
Walking up to different tables with chips I already bought in with , as well as slow players card entry caused my win / loss to be incorrect.
Reduced the $300 I bought in for to about $80 in red chips at the first table , players card was provided and given back to me. (-$220)
Played at a few other tables with my last $100 buy in plus the remaining chips , making sure to show and state what total of chips I sat down with along with the buy in. (Roughly $-250)
With my remaining chips (about $180) I went to the final table of the night and recouped my losses plus an additional hundred ($+100).
Check win / loss after casino visit and it shows as a +$600 win for the month. Anyone else run into this issue? Any way to correct? Not a huge deal but would like to prevent in the future. Thanks in advance.

This is a review from my experience with customer service at Complete solar. I was having trouble setting up my solar connection. I got through to Complete solar (after a long hold). I spoke to Mary who was so amazing. She was so patient with me. She talked me through all the steps to troubleshoot and while the app was loading she gave me some great money saving tip on using my solar to avoid paying an electricity bill. From the minute she took my call I knew I was in good hands. She never gave up even checking the system on her end. She reassured me that I was doing everything right and I was able to get connected. Hats off to the best customer service by Mary!

One of my goals I set was to read all King's books in the order published on the Constant Reader list. I am currently on Night Shift. There is a short story in here called Night Surf and there is a mention of Captain Trips. Now, by the list, Night Shift was out before The Stand. I was talking to a friend and they remember Captain Trips from somewhere in The Dark Tower series. Along with Flag. I had said I first encountered Flag when I read Eyes of the Dragon. The way King makes so many things connect just blows my friggin mind!
