Hi everyone! My 5 month old baby has been falling asleep independently since around 3.5 months. However in the last week, she’s been waking up at 3am and 5am consistently. At the 3am wake, she is able to put herself back to sleep in around 10-15 minutes, but at the 5am wake we usually have to snooze feed her. I’m perfectly ok to snooze feed her at the 5am one since I know it’s rough for young babies at that time. She’s always been a good sleeper too, but the wake ups are more lengthy now. We don’t intervene unless she cries (rare).
Schedule is 2.25/2.5/2.5/2.5-2.75 DWT 7:30am Bedtime routine is nappy, dress, bottle, songs, lots of cuddles, a bit of chatting, bed. (I know bottle is late in the routine, it doesn’t seem to be an issue just yet but I will move it to the beginning of the routine soon).
I guess my question is- are the wake ups a schedule issue or completely normal? I know babies wake up in the middle of the night even after sleep trained, but this seems like a consistent 3am wake up? She can put herself back to sleep usually but takes 10-15 minutes.

We plan to visit Acadia NP from Colorado where we do a fair amount of hiking. Below is our four full-day trip plan for the week of May 19. Thoughts on this?
Day 1 Start early a.m: Park Loop Road to Beehive area (CCW loop hike). The specific hike is Beehive, Gorham Mountain and Ocean Path Loop on AllTrails, 3.5 miles, 784ft, difficult, loop, CCW. Along the Ocean Path, we can do: Otter Cliff Overlook (short walk south), Boulder Beach, Monument Cove, Thunder Hole, Sand Beach.
Day 2 Acadia Schoodic Peninsula + Winter Harbor Fishing Village. The specific hike is the Anvil-Schoodic Head-Alder Loop Trail, Loop, 2.4 miles, 500'. Then I expect we can do one of these three hikes, 1) Schoodic Head and Buck Cove Mountain Trail, go CCW, 3.7 miles, 500'. 2) Lower Harbor Trail and Frazer Creek Bike Path Loop, 2.1 miles, 170', 3) Sundew Trail, 2 miles, 144' (short); seems nice when you reach the coast
Day 3 Start early a.m. Jordan & Eagle Lakes with Bubbles; then kayak and/or Bar Island Trail. For the kayak trip, I see Acadia Sea Kayaking Adventures - Dirigo Tour, 3.5 hours. Note, I know visiting the Bar Island Trail completely depends on the tide schedule.
Day 4 Acadia West side: Beech Cliffs Trail + Beech Mountain. Note: Day 4 may be used as a "rain check" to one of the previous days. Trail 1) Beech Cliff Trail via Beech Cliff Loop on AllTrails, 1.5 miles, 500', Up then back [down]. Trail 2) Beech Mountain Trail on AllTrails, 1.2 miles, 360' 45 minutes
The place we're staying is a ~10 minute drive to the Cadillac Mountain Park Entrance

Problem/Goal: From the title itself yes I tend to ruminate about my career after finishing college.
Context: For context, I am a first year student in a state university in Manila.My program is under Communications (I won't disclose all the details but it has a lot to do with writing/broadcast/productions). Though, I did my own research before signing up in this course, I still couldn't help but feel uneasy about the job opportunities and career growth in the future.
I am not a breadwinner and my parents have a relatively stable income but I want to move out and be independent after I secure a stable job. I am curious about law as well and maybe migrate to another country.
For those who graduated with the similar program as mine, I want to know your advices and what career are you pursuing right now.

I have a month off work and so im planning a 26/27 day trip in Europe. I’m planning to fly into Cyprus and spend 11 days there before spending 6 days in Malta. I’m already set on visiting Cyprus and Malta.
My question is where should I spend the remaining 10 days of my trip? I’m tossing up between spending that time in: - Nice/French Riviera - Strasbourg/Colmar with a stop in Luxembourg. - Swiss countryside
Note I have visited Italy, Spain, UK and Portugal recently and don’t plan on going to those places until later in the future.
I know 10 days isn’t a lot, but do you have any other trip suggestions?

a little about me, my name is journey, you can call me sunny if you’d like! im an adv-lit, third person writer, putting out about 3-5 paragraphs per response! sadly i am an adult with a full time job and my own personal life, so i can only really promise 3-4 responses a week, but on a good week i’m very active and can respond as much as 1-2 a day, especially on my days off!! sadly i do work two 10 hours a week so those days i will be pretty dead!!
a little of what i’m looking for, i’m wanting a partner who roleplays sapphic plots, being basically anything but F4M, i specifically am looking for F4F! i don’t ask much writing wise, as long as writing is in third person and you give me enough to work off of, we can trade some writing samples to see how well we pair together. another i really would hope to find with my roleplay partners is connection! i don’t want to just know your character but you as a person! i love to have online friends, especially someone i can trade game-tags with and spend time with you outside of our plot!
as far as roles, plots and genres go, i am a sucker for fantasy, supernatural, action, dark-romance, etc! the only genres i’m not too fond of have to be SOL and modern-though i am okay with those if they have something else mixed into them, sadly fandoms are not something i am comfortable roleplaying; though i am always open to hearing ideas and possible plots you want to bring forward! i have a wide variety of pre-made characters already but love a good excuse to make a new one! i am 18+ and all participants and characters must be 18+ as well!!
i do enjoy ERP but not without story, plot and character building, and i’m not looking to do it every other scene, it just takes the fun out of it and honestly i prefer the story and romance more than the actual ERP, though that doesn’t mean i’m not up for it!

Well, it’s kinda awkward posting this but whatever haha. I just turned 22 and I realized that things might get more serious for me soon and certain things will not be as age appropriate anymore and I’d rather do mistakes now than later. I have never had my first kiss, had sex nothing bla bla bla you know the gist.
You’d think I don’t get attention but it’s the complete opposite. I know that guys find me attractive and I get alot of compliments. It’s funny tho because I don’t get approached a lot but when that happens it’s always guys that are super direct and confident (which I prefer anyways)
Now, a little background info (I will split this into parts so you can follow):
- I was socially excluded in high school.
- Now the actual problem
After high school, I was 19 to be exact, I realized that I wasn’t “ugly”. All of a sudden I got a lot of male attention and I felt normal/like a girl for the first time in my life.
It was during holidays and a guy was super direct and showed interest. But I didn’t know how to show him that I was also interested. I did it in a way I knew how: I was just friendly like I would be with friends (I don’t know how to flirt). It’s like I don’t know what to say or how to act flirty like in movies I see or on social media or how I watch my peers do it. I mean how could I? I was so clueless I didn’t even know he just wanted to sleep with me. (He asked me to come over to his hotel room and bring him his stuff at 11 pm after I accidentally saw him naked and I didn’t get it until the next day omgg 💔 I was so naive.)
I just feel this pressure to also impress a guy. But I also feel like through more intimate interactions, they would catch on to the fact that I am inexperienced and they’d think I am lame/compare me to other girls who are way more fun. I really don’t wanna embarrass myself. And also deep down I feel like once I show an ounce of interest back, everyone who witnessed it would laugh at me and use it against me. For the life of me I cannot be vulnerable. So when I end up in an intimate situation, I just freeze up and I don’t do it intentionally. It’s so bad I don’t know what to say or to do and I just wanna escape the situation because it gives me so much anxiety. I only have it with guys who are interested in me and who I also like back (even if it would just be casual). I remember a guy told me I “shouldn’t be scared” when he tried to kiss me and I pulled away and walked off. (lol I was 18, the signs were there) I don’t know whether I am avoidant??
It’s so bad I feel like I am sabotaging myself to the point where I don’t even dare to like guys or feel any attraction. Just so I can protect myself maybe? I just assume it will turn out bad. And that guys would react horribly to anything I do. And I know it won’t be that way and that it could all be easy but I really can’t take the first step/ say that I wanna hook up/ say that I like someone because it really gives me this nauseous feeling.
I feel like if I would get over my firsts, dating would be much more easier because I’d have no expectations? I just wanna get over it at this point because I won’t be anyone’s first anyways, so it’s not even special.
I’ll keep it short:
A guy approaches me. He flirts and all. I involuntarily act platonic all the time. Don’t know how to text him differently, don’t know how to respond but I stay nice. Time passes. He gets bored/gives up pursuing me. The situation dies out and I am left with infatuation until I get over him.
It’s a cycle I just wanna break out of.
I just want to get to do everything I missed out on whether it be casual stuff or relationships. And I know in a few years it won’t be the same as now because everyone will look for their husbands and I want to just catch up. I also want to do mistakes now than later.
I don’t even know what my question is? I just wonder how to text someone, what to say and how to subtly show signals. I guess just making things thrilling?? Help I feel like an alien 😭😭
I don’t want pity or anything, just some advice or tips.

As I'm sure many of you are aware, ICE deportations have been ramping up, targeting hardworking immigrants who call the US home. It's heartbreaking to see families torn apart, livelihoods destroyed, and communities shattered. My parents came here to work hard and give their children a better future/ education. These people contribute to our society, pay taxes, and enrich our culture. They deserve respect, dignity, and a fair shot at the American dream.
