Hello, Reddit! Today, I’m here to talk about eye exercises. Not the "stare-at-your-ex’s-Instagram-at-3-AM" workout, but actual exercises to improve focus. Let’s face it—our eyes are the MVPs of our body, yet we treat them like interns who’ll just deal with the abuse. Sit back, relax, and let me convince you to give your peepers a little TLC.
Look, if I told you doing a few eye stretches every day might prevent you from reading your phone with one squinty eye at 45, wouldn’t you try it? Your eyes are muscles (well, technically they’re controlled by muscles, but I’m not here to flex my anatomy knowledge). Just like your biceps, they need reps. Except, these reps don’t make you look ripped; they make you less blind.
Start with the basics, folks. BLINK. Yes, you’re probably forgetting. We’re all too busy scrolling Reddit like the fate of humanity depends on it. Here’s the drill: Blink rapidly for 10 seconds. You’ll feel like a malfunctioning robot, but trust me, your eyeballs will thank you. Bonus: It’s great for awkward Zoom calls. People think you’re glitching.
You know how fitness gurus swear by the 12-3-30 treadmill routine? Well, this is the eye version, and it’s a lot less sweaty. Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds. Reality check: No, the “20 feet away” object cannot be your coworker’s weird desk cactus. Go for something scenic. Or at least not something staring back at you.
Think yoga is just for your body? Think again. Here’s the sequence:
Rub your hands together like you’re plotting something evil, then gently cup them over your eyes. Close your lids and pretend you’re meditating on a remote mountain. In reality, you’re just avoiding eye strain. Pro tip: Don’t do this during meetings. Your boss will think you’re sleeping.
After all that exercise, give your eyes a moment of zen. Lean back, close your eyes, and imagine life without blue light. Feels good, doesn’t it? Bonus points if you don’t immediately grab your phone after this.
The best part about these exercises? They’re subtle. You can do them in public, and people will just think you’re deeply pondering the mysteries of life (or that you forgot how to use your face).
So, fellow Redditors, take care of your eyes. They deserve it. Plus, if we all commit to better eye health, maybe someday optometrists will go out of business, and we’ll all look like HD versions of ourselves.

I had mild preeclampsia, found around 35 weeks and had to be induced at 37 weeks.
When my baby was born, they were very small: • Weight: 5 lb (1st percentile) • Height: 49 cm (32 percentile) • Head circumference: 32.5 cm (3rd percentile).
Two weeks old measurement was also around 3%.
Now my baby is almost two months old. I accidentally came across information that a head circumference below the 3rd percentile might indicate microcephaly.
What should I do?
My baby was in the NICU for six days, but none of the doctors have ever mentioned the possibility of microcephaly.
Should I be worried?

Ok so my 29 yr old son (we shall call Z) moved in with me (50 yr old mama been through some shit),about 3 years ago with his newborn son and his girlfriend and her 2 other sons from a previous relationship (I took in these other boys and love them to this day) any hoo they came to live with me I gave my bedroom up for them gave the boys an extra bedroom and put myself in other bedroom (it’s townhouse 3 beds 1 and half bath but extra open room downstairs I made kids playroom)about 1.5 years ago Zs girlfriend asked me if it would be ok if she took in a German Shepherd her cousin couldn’t cate for any longer (she was excited because my son had recently lost his close doggie ) I said it’s fine with me as long as you can clean up after the dog and care for it properly … well it’s been a year and a half of the dog chewing up my patio cushions pooping (like a living eating being does) and them not cleaning anything up I’ve repeatedly asked them to clean up after her,also I work opposite shift and there has been multiple occasions they leave this poor dog locked in kennel while they go off for the weekend (I’ve come home and discovered she’s been in there for over 14 hours) 😡😞 ( I have told them also they should rehome this pet because she doesn’t fit with thier lifestyle) well shit hit the fan when last week I had to get ice melt salt because of weather and we had sheets of ice at door I salted front door entrance put remaining (40 lbs bag sealed out back ) I went out back and seen the dog had chewed through the salt bag told them it’s dangerous 7 days later they didn’t take her to vet they left the mess in back along with piling poop so I told them you have 30 days to rehome this dog or I’m moving and no matter what that dog (for me it’s not the dogs fault) will not be moving with me no exceptions they can but they will no longer have their own rooms so AITA for telling them to rehome their obviously neglected pet?

Went to skiing and there was a straight track ending where i am and starting high and far. It really made me want the 10x so i could film my friends. Really a shame samsung ditched the 10x. I honestly dont care about the low light capabilities of a periscope lens.
