2025.01.21 04:51 bearcat_77 Is the Ubi launcher bugged out for anyone else?
Epilepse inducing flashing and glitching, and every time I tried to launch any ubi game it said there was an update, starts a download screen, then crashes.
I deleted ubi and TM2020 and reinstalled through steam, and now TM2020 is running just fine.
Feels like the ubi launcher is broken on their end?

As a female introvert, I've seen it times and times again how an introverted behavior from a female is perceived as mean or bi*chy behavior, while male introversion is much more tolerated. I've already struggled previously being in hospital settings where staff would gossip about me because I don't talk a lot or share things about myself. They made me feel like I'm a weird, but it doesn't matter to me as long as this doesn't reflect on the feedback or performance scores I'm given while in med school or residency. Fellow introverts who have gone through the process, how was it for you? how hard is it to navigate being in a dominantly extroverted field? Were you ever punished in any form for having such a personality? Thank you.

Been smoking weed to help me sleep for over a decade. Haven’t had a real break since I went to Mexico in 2017. I have tried quitting many times and it’s downright painful. The last time I tried was a few weeks ago. I was awake until 4am, at which point I had such a bad headache from being so overly tired that I caved and smoked the tiny bit of weed I had left and managed to fall asleep fo a few hours. Natural sleep aids don’t help, they’ll make me super tired but not quite asleep, and then they’ll just wear off and I’ll be totally awake, and I have very good sleep hygiene (no screens at least one hour before bed, I wear red glasses as soon as the sun goes down, no caffeine past 11am, healthy diet etc).
My mom is taking me on a cruise with her next month, I leave in less than 4 weeks. I live in Canada, weed is legal and easily accessible here, the cruise ships out of Miami Florida where it is very illegal. I am terrified I won’t be able to sleep while I’m away and will be in withdrawal the entire time, but I’m having a terrible time trying to quit. Natural sleep aids as well as over the counters don’t help. I am highly considering asking my doctor for a short term prescription for Xanax just to use while I’m on the cruise. I truly believe that if I went 10 days without weed, there’s no way I would want to smoke again. I am wondering if I might have an easier time let’s say going from cannabis to Xanax, and then from Xanax to melatonin or another form of natural sleep aid. Ultimately I would love to kick this dependency as I know it holds me back in major ways.
I’m wondering if anyone has gone through something similar and can share their experiences?
