My parents tanked their credit and therefore took a mortgage out under my name for their current house.
I’m 31M married and renting as I personally am fine with renting right now. I don’t live with my parents.
This has been going fine I guess over the last 4 years as they’ve made the payments on time. They current operate their own business.
Now - to boos their business with renovations and upgrades they’re looking to take a LOC - which will be under my name of course.
Before I go down this route just wanted to assess the risk. I’m leaning towards refusing but I want to go to them with a solid reasoning.

I know many of us have felt it but the question is as the title states, what is that certain feeling we have for certain women (instantly) that we don’t have with others?
I’ll try my best to describe it (for me at least), but it’s this immediate feeling when meeting or going out with a girl for the first time and it’s like you immediately fall in love— in the sense that every fiber of your being wants to protect her, take care of her, and provide for her.
You barely know anything about this girl, but you know for a fact she’s “perfect” and that you’d quickly fall in love her.
I wanna be clear the feeling is not lust itself, it is a feeling that includes lust in the sense you’re obviously attracted to her, but it’s raw passion and the things described above that supersede any other intention or desire when it comes to her.
this girl may not even be close to the most physically “attractive” woman you’ve been with/slept with, but it’s a feeling where it just “has to be” when it comes to her. If your shit wasn’t already together, you’re the most put together upstanding mf RIGHT NOW, for her.
It’s like how our head down low can overpower the head up top (pure lust), but it’s the heart instead and feels like pure love.
I know this shit sounds corny and I almost deleted this but who cares I need to know, what the hell is the feeling? Is it reasonable? I know we’ve all felt it. I’m not talking about idealizing her either, It’s more of a you just met her and if she said “propose right now” you’d do it. You’re pretty certain you already love everything about her and the discovery of the rest of her along the way brings no fear whatsoever.
Because I’m going to be honest, this shit happens to me and it shakes me sometimes. I become blind to most other women and when it doesn’t work out I get upset because “this is the one for me” and it didn’t pan out. Usually because I become over invested in (controlling) the outcome. Then I lose my drive for love and go into a cycle of only lusting for women I shouldn’t/being a douche bag and it ruins everything (and tbh I’m tired of it and working on it). So I wanna understand it more.
So… is this actually love? If it isn’t, then what is it?

When I was a newbie, I found myself wondering the difference between all of the different names we use to refer to our gods. As I assume there are others out there who are in my boat, here's the differences between each of these.
First, let's start with...
GREEK NAMESGreek names are as they sound - the gods' names in the Greek language. However, the confusion I had with this category was the difference between Ancient Greek names and Modern Greek names. A few examples that come to mind are the Modern Athena (Ἀθηνᾶ) and the Ancient Athene (Άθηνη), as well as the Modern Hera (´Ήρα) and the Ancient Here (´Ήρη).
GREEK TRANSLITERATIONThese are the versions of the Greek names but with latin letters. Ἀθηνᾶ becomes Athena, Άπόλλων becomes Apollon, and Κίρκη becomes Kirke. These names retain the same pronunciation as the Greek names, but are easier for native English speakers to read.
In modern Hellenism, a worshipper may use these names to feel closer to the gods or hellenic culture, however this is not a requirement.
LATINIZED NAMESLatinization, in this context, is where the gods' names are taken from Greek and changed to suit an English speaker's tongue. This is where Kirke becomes Circe, Khronos becomes Cronos, and Kratos becomes Cratus. Not to be confused with Roman names.
These are the most common pronunciations in English speaking countries and media.
ROMAN NAMESThere is some debate over whether the Roman deities are separate from the Greek ones or if they're the same beings. It's seen as more of a case by case basis - some believe one way and some believe the other, however everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Those in favor of them being separate look to not only the differing names but culture and how the Romans went about worshipping their gods, however the ones against that idea see the Roman versions of the deities as the same gods with different names since it's not the same language.
Back to names, however: this is where Artemis becomes Diana, Aphrodite becomes Venus, and Poseidon becomes Neptune.
To the ancients, a Greek man could worship Artemis at a temple for Diana and a Roman man could worship Diana at a temple for Artemis.
There are some Roman gods that don't have a Greek counterpart such as Janus, god of beginnings.

i’m SO confused. i SINCERELY do not mean to ramble but i have a lot of emotions.
i’m not really sure if i’m allowed to ramble here or what i can and can’t say but i’m genuinely so confused gender-wise. I’m seventeen years old, and I’ve been questioning my gender identity since I was eleven. i need opinions. i’m in this really strange situation, where i know somethings off. but i cannot figure out what the source of it is. internalized sexism? insecurity? i don’t know
i remember distinctly always being someone who wouldn’t wish I was like a character or person that i saw on TV or in shows. I would wish i WAS that character. never an in between. would these characters ever be women? no if it was a woman. it would be a “like” thing. though it rarely happened
growing up, like…middle school, i remember being rlly fixated on mlm and general nsfw abt gay men and being very very VERY fixated on specifically the male genitalia in it (am i allowed to say that??) while having literally no romantic or sexual attraction to men (never felt romantically attracted to someone in my life). like if i had to imagine myself sexually with a guy, i would also be a guy (does that make sense?). thinking of myself as a guy also makes me oddly aroused . weird. strange. sometimes i’ll really feel like i am a guy, and then i’ll look in the mirror or hear my voice or see anything on my body (arms, legs, anything), and it’ll snap me out of it. now i’m moreso just fixated on the genitalia.
i developed this weird habit like a week ago…really trying to let go of the physical and just feel like a boy while ignoring all my thoughts while i go to sleep and it’s really calming. helps me sleep. or often way before that id listen to music and imagine myself as a guy PERSONA that i made.. it wasn’t me but i saw it as me. kind of just daydreaming
i remember the first time i questioned myself, i mentally asked myself “am i a guy or a girl?” at 11. i experienced this strange…numbing sensation in my head? almost like i couldn’t think. and i’d get this strange aching and throbbing feeling in my chest. this was something i also fixated on, because it never went away and anytime, to this day i feel…i don’t know. moved? confused? strangely emotional thinking about something gender related i feel it. i feel like im crazy even typing it out and i wonder if i’m genuinely lying to myself but i’d feel this.
i remember at some point, after being in a lot of mental stress constantly thinking about the way i was being referred to, if i liked it or not, who i was, that aching pain, and the numbing sensation. little me made the conscious choice to stop thinking about it.
i stopped to the best of my ability (the only time i rlly ended up thinking abt it was making bios or apps. no joke it would take me DAYS to set up bios because i didn’t know what the hell i wanted ppl to refer to me as), and i still don’t feel uncomfortable being referred to as a girl, or having she/her being used on me, and i’d automatically categorize myself as a girl not for any other reason than because other people see me as one. not to mention the second i start seriously and deeply thinking about the way people refer to me…i feel…off. i’ll just start randomly feeling teary eyed. and i feel that throbbing sensation again while my entire mood drops. i think i’m pretty, too. but at the same time i adore some male characters and wish i was them or inexplicably obsess over them and genuinely have no idea why…while also wanting to be them…entirely (this has never happened with a woman character. ever. never in my entire life). if i like a woman character i’m usually able to explain why.
6 years later, i think me making the choice not to think about my gender deeply anymore and explore the feelings due to my parent’s transphobia and also general insecurity (not being authentic, worrying abt what others think of me) has kicked me in the ass, because now i don’t know where to go to dig for these emotions again. every so often i’ll become overly fixated on trans people and feel…like …actual shit. bad bad. and then i’ll feel fine again a few weeks later. it’s a loop, and i feel like it’s gotten worse and worse over time.
i’m trying to be more open with myself, and it’s revealed some things to me. i might be watching a video or a movie and see a guy do something and it’s just like damn. something about that. wish that was me BAD bad. or crying because i think i might be trans and the feelings aren’t going to go away but also not…knowing if i am trans and it’s all in my head...?
- (two more weird occurrences i can’t explain) i’ve felt my body grow heavy and i felt like i couldn’t move when i tried replicating a bulge in my pants + a time where i was mentally annoyed thinking abt my hairy legs again, until i realized that it made me look…kind of like a guy…and i felt this warmth spread thru my chest. ive always hated my hairy legs and ever since then i havent hated them at all
