I have seen this really nice detached house that I want to buy and it has almost everything I want. It's located in a nice quiet area, but close enough to shops and schools. There are only 7 houses on the street for now, and none of them have door numbers. They all have house names. It kind of bothers me a little. Would delivery drivers or people I have given the address to find it easy to find the home, especially at night?

So I recently heard someone describe something as "mouth watering" and asked if that actually happens... and I found out at age 26 that people actually salivate when hungry and that it isn't something that only happens in cartoons. I've never done this in my life, I just feel pain in my stomach when hungry.
I tried researching how common this is but it appears no one has asked this and I'm wondering if I'm the only one who doesn't experience this. Apparently salivating more is "normal" but I've never heard of it before aside from seeing it in cartoons. I see online others asking why salivation with hunger happens but no data to show how common it is to experience this (or to not experience this).

2025.01.21 09:50 shinra_7 If I'm dragging an image that is 2000x1500 into an artboard that is 1000x1000, is there a shortcut or quick way to instantly resize the image to fit the artboard's height or width?
For anyone who uses After Effects, the shortcut for this is CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+H to resize a layer to the comp's width and CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+G for the height.
I can't seem to find the Photoshop version of this but it may not exist.

SARABURI - An elderly man has died after being savagely attacked by his dog at the family home in Kaeng Khoi district of this central province.
The badly mauled body of 84-year-old Khan (surname not given) was found on Thursday by his daughter, Tim, on the ground floor of his two-storey home in the Din Sor Pong community of tambon Thap Kwang.
Close by was the family dog, a cross between a Thai breed and a pitbull, called Jao Dam, chained to a pole. The dog was barking furiously.
The bloodied body was missing part of the right arm, while his left arm and torso had multiple bite marks.
According to rescue workers from the Ruam Katanyu Foundation who attended the scene, Khan’s personal belongings were scattered all over the ground floor, suggesting a desperate struggle before his death.
Khan was estimated to have died at least 24 hours before his body was found by his daughter. He also had 7,000 baht in cash in his pockets.
Authorities are searching for the missing limb.
Prayong, 52, Khan’s son, said the male dog was about five years old and had been raised by his father since it was a puppy.
He said he believed the dog attacked his father while it was on the chain. It turned violent, possibly from having been restrained for a long time.
The victim’s daughter said she had no idea when the attack took place. She found her father dead when she went to visit him on Thursday morning.
Khan was living with his eldest son, who suffers from a mental disorder, she added.

I'm female, 24, +- 57kg and 15% bodyfat. i'm a runner and have been doing about 30km/week for a couple months now (have been running weekly for 2years). I've been strength training on and off but recently got a gym membership and have been going diligently for more than a month, focusing on my running and abs. I've never actually seen my abs apart from those two light vertical lines on the right and left.
I've read that abs are made in the kitchen, yes, and I actually eat very clean, have been vegan for 2 years and never really snack on much other than fruit sometimes. I focus on getting my protein, though I know that's hard as a vegan. What else can i do to get my abs to show?

Just starting to use Bluesky but I've been having an issue where I'm trying to scroll down and instead it scrolls to the left or right changing feeds (eg discovery to following). It's incredibly sensitive and I've tried picking different spots to scroll up but there doesn't seem to be any consistentcy. I just have to keep trying and occasionally go back and forth between feeds until it lets me scroll down.

I (28F) have literally NO friends. Despite my best efforts to put myself out there (I am a student currently but I also participate in ALOT of extra curricular activities like Dance Class and Adult Gymnastics) I still have yet to build a social circle for myself. I have learned to be okay with it for the most part but I wonder if I should be trying harder to meet people and pursue an active friendship.
I've lived in Seattle for the past 10 years and I've hung out with a few people before, (mostly old coworkers / ex-boyfriends) but nothing that has been long-term. It's ironic to me because I grew up in a MUCH smaller city closer to Mexico.. and I used to have a lot of friends, in my hometown.
I never expected that my life would be so lonely in one of THE largest cities in the United States.
