Dear members of ISM,
This short note is probably my first and last request made to you. As we all know, and we can see that ISM or IndianSocialistsMemes is dying of low participation, ISM has been always kept active by only one guy posting which is me, after that u/Feisty-Computer8250 started posting which is also mostly me (Its an account I had access to but its not my account) , so that means only one guy has been posting consistently and in all problems have managed to post everyday. We always had occassional posters (they never continued posting) but we can conclude 90% of posts are basically made by one person, directly or inderectly (me). Having one guy posting makes it such that you dont get a variety of thought, even marxists disagree on every second thing; it also makes it such that if one person in any circumstances fail to post or stops posting the entire subreddit dies, which is the case right now, I cant post anymore due to various reasons and I know nobody here really cares but There are right wing bigoted subs which have been created way after our sub but has managed to attract more people, we sure are failing and our thought definitely doesnt gets shared more creating a domino effect with capitalism getting stronger day by day. It is a thing that nobody really cares about up until the sword is hanging by their neck, which is too late.
My request to the members to at least post once a day, it doesnts take much time to create a meme, neither does it takes any effort , if one person carry single handedly an entire sub then its possible for anyone to do the same. what matters more is engagement and keeping our narrative fresh forever. This is the time to save the subreddit from its expected downfall , because this subreddit is dying and its their members to care, if the members want the downfall and surrender to bigotry- well we are in the same boat, therefore the bigots as well as us will sink together - and we will sink if not repaired the damages. Request to act fast and not let everything go into vain.

I’m trying to figure out the best way to access my Synology server from outside while maximizing the speed. I currently have two internet connections, but both are behind double NAT, which means I can’t open any ports.
So far, I’ve tried using Tailscale, which works fine, but the speed isn’t great.
Is there any way to make this setup work with the limitations I have? I’d really appreciate any suggestions or workarounds that could help.

2025.01.21 07:26 Imakillaholic My Wife and I Made a Pact to Die Together at 80. This Morning, She Turned 80.
It started as a joke. We were twenty-two, sitting on the rooftop of our first apartment, watching the city lights flicker below.
“No hospitals. No nursing homes,” she said, swirling the last of the wine in her glass. “When we turn 80, we go together.”
“Deal,” I grinned, raising my bottle.
It was romantic in a morbid way—a promise that neither of us would have to grow old alone. That when the aches became unbearable, when the world became too much, we’d leave on our own terms.
We were young then, reckless. We thought 80 was impossibly far away.
But the years blurred past—marriage, kids, grandkids. The rooftop promise faded into the background, buried beneath school recitals, family road trips, late-night laughter.
We had too much to live for.
Until this morning.
Her side of the bed was empty, the sheets cool. I reached over instinctively, fingers brushing nothing but air.
I called her name.
No answer.
Then I saw it—the note, sitting neatly on the nightstand.
My name was written on the front in her delicate cursive.
I unfolded it with shaking hands.
“You always forget I’m older than you.”
My stomach twisted.
I threw the blanket off and ran downstairs.

She had taken matters into her own hands.
Her hands rested peacefully in her lap, the gun nestled between them.

I don’t know how long I stood there, the paper shaking in my grip.
A car drove past. A jogger ran by.
The world kept moving.
But mine had stopped.
She had given me an out—one final act of love.

Because I chose to live.
That night, I sat on the rooftop.
