so i (f19) met this guy (m21) on tinder and we hit it off. at first it was just hooking up until i brought up the age old question “what are we?” he essentially let me know he didn’t want a relationship and always thinks he might not ever be in one with where he was mentally (never specified), but still wanted to spend time with me and hu. despite me stating that i wanted to be past that with him, it ended up going his way.
that’s until he asked me out officially. he’s only ever had 2-3 other girlfriends but the way he’s spoken about them and then spoken about me, i stood out. the relationship was for around 2-3 months where he brought up all these future plans, like meeting his parents, what it’d be like meeting mine, and even referred to us as a married couple whenever we’d have nights out and together. it seemed like his perspectives on relationships changed.
and then he broke up with me. it was all of a sudden when this years school year started back up again and he was 2 hours away instead of a 20 minute drive. when he explained why, it was essentially the same reasons why as before, he just didn’t have the mental capacity to have one and has accepted that he may never have one because of what he’s going through mentally.
the break up was hard on both of us and we ended up reaching out to each other daily until he suggested we became friends. we still technically are to this day but we’ve just essentially switched labels and acted and treated each other the same was as before. this included sleeping together. i still have hope we’re going to get back together as sad as it truly is, and it’s been harder since he’s taking this semester on exchange and even further then before.
during our friendship stage i even tried letting him go by blocking him on everything before he messaged me on linkedin (oops forgot i had him on there) asking me why and that he was really upset about me just leaving him like that after everything.
i guess my question is, should i continue seeing how things go while he’s far away, or how should i go about getting over him if not.

2025.01.21 07:22 False_Note8488 Just finished watching Only Yesterday after almost a year of attempting to finish it but failing at it and here's what I thought of it..
 | I liked the movie's themes big times and really enjoyed the storyline. However, the ending didn't feel like it was plotted for all throughout the movie. I have thought about the possibility of this ending hinting at Taeko's seemingly growth out of her emotionally neglected self at grade 5, with lots of self esteem issues. But her getting together with Toshio still feels off, throughout the movie I found him to often be way too self centered about his own ambitions, not necessarily a bad thing for his own self, but the ending with them getting together didn't feel organic as it was almost that he was dismissive of Taeko's recollection of her memories that caused a sort of weak bond between them with him starting to talk about 'oragic agriculture' whenever Taeko was talking about her memories. So when he wasn't present enough to share the solidarity with Taeko's as she was transitioning, his passive interest in Taeko feels false and unrequited. Overall, his character was very undeveloped to match that of Taeko's character and that made him appear as an emotionally unintelligent character who wasn't very present or likable. So to end it, for me, writing the resolution with them together and kids from grade 5 left behind wasn't strong or satisfying enough rather it appeared forced and superficial. I'm new and prefer to play with a physical board than online I'm looking for a set from Etsy and came across some beautiful wood crafted set However I can't be sure if those stores (either from Armenia or Ukraine) are legit, because they all got 5 star stellar reviews that praise their items are heirlooms to be passed on to generations. Hey everyone,
So I'm looking to buy a different car and I came across a 2021 T-roc R-line with 60k miles on it. It does have full VW service history but the DSG has not been serviced as yet. I'm sh*t scared of the DSG failing and VW in my country doesn't offer extended warranty once it has expired. So the vehicle currently doesn't have a warranty. I can get an aftermarket warranty which would cover a significant portion of the cost if something happens but I'm mot sure if at such mileage, it's worth it. Any advice is appreciated.

When I was in DR, we went to a beach about half an hour away from Santo Domingo that I enjoyed. The beach was relatively nice and there were was a bar that we ordered beers from while we relaxed.
Like Santo Domingo, it appears that the beaches in PDC proper aren't necessarily the nicest ; so I was wondering if there's anywhere easy to get to from PDC for an afternoon trip where we do this.
