I work part-time (approximately 33-35 hours per week) at a small financial planning firm with fewer than 15 employees. My position was newly created, and during the hiring process, the owner indicated that it might evolve into a full-time role as I develop my skills and take on additional responsibilities.
With performance reviews approaching next month, I am eager to discuss the possibility of transitioning to a full-time position. Currently, I receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, a 401(k), and PTO. The firm is also sponsoring my Financial Paraplanner certification (FPQP), which I am set to complete in March, and this will allow me to take on even more responsibilities.
Since joining the firm in April, I have successfully taken on several additional tasks that have contributed to our operations. I often receive positive feedback, which leads me to believe that my role is valued, and my supervisors might anticipate this conversation.
I’m considering reaching out to my supervisor and the owner about a week before our reviews to express my interest in discussing this transition. What would be the best way to approach this conversation?

I wonder if our opinions match... You can answer this in detail or on a scale of 1 to 10 or both. You may also answer this question in general and ignore the situations altogether.
- You are casually going by and a person bumped into you. They didn't say sorry and just moved on.
- Out of the blue, an acquaintance shouts at you. You didn't do anything. Later on, they come to you and say sorry. They don't seem genuine.
- Same as above but this time they do seem genuine.
- You have a really, really close friend; like 'someone who understands you' kind of friend. You find out (from a genuine source, i.e. what you heard is 100% accurate) that they were actually manipulative. They lied to you. When you confronted them about it, they ignored you.
- Same as above but here they seemed shocked that you know about it. After a while they come to you and say sorry. They apologized multiple times and said that they didn't mean to manipulate you and that they'll not do this again.

Me & bf been together for 10 months, we are newly apart, living in different places, but this will be changed in couple of months of time. And we were lovey dovey when we were together in the same city, he sent me to airport and kissed goodbye, and we promised each other we would text each other if missing each other etc all the things that couple would say. And now we have been officially long distance for 11 days now, he didn’t contact me, and I didn’t contact him either. So I assume we broke up. But he still using our selfie together as his social media profile pic, which confuses me. The theory is: if a man doesn’t contact you, because he doesn’t want to or doesn’t interested in you enough to reach out. So I didn’t bother to text him first. Our communication style in general would be him sometimes being anxious attachment when I replied him late or didn’t call him back immediately, he got insecure and upset. And sometimes we didn’t text each other for 3 or 4 days in a week and we be all good. But now the situation is long distance, meaning we can’t physically be there for each other, so even most of the time I’m a secure attachment style, now I become anxious. No BS we all know in LDR, when the bf goes silent for days for weeks, he surely met someone new, zero doubt, maybe I’m so negative but this is just human nature. The reason I hesitate to reach out because I wanna maintain my secure attachment style image, and trying to be that cool girl who is detached and unbothered.
