2025.01.21 09:51 Kmusecian Whatsapp notifications not working properly for one contact on Android. No message pop-ups, no notification sounds or vibrations. How to fix this?
Other contacts and groups all work as they should. One contact’s messages only show up as a small notification icon on the top bar of the screen, and it shows the messages preview when I swipe down the notification bar. No sound, no vibration and no message pop-ups ever show. Same goes for this contact’s messages in a group. All the settings and notifications are the same as for my other contacts on Whatsapp and on the contacts app. Any way to fix this? It is a frustrating issue and it’s so easy miss messages because of this. The phone is a Samsung Galaxy A55. This issue has existed for a longer time, and didn’t occur after an OS or app update.

2025.01.21 09:51 Boilporkfat Is this too much for land base fishing?
So I don't even know why but I have a 50lbs setup, 9'6" rod with a BG reel spooled with 50lbs braid. The set up is intended for beach and rock fishing and it just feels like too much over kill? Like would I actually catch anything with this set up, throwing 60g+ plus just seems ridiculous for land based fishing. The metal lure I have is massive (80g malosi marksman) not to mention my popper also haha. Though I did catch a trevally on the halco popper and the lure was probably half the length of the fish which is interesting that it would go for it. Not sure what I'm really after but just want to know if I did something kinda dumb haha.
I also have a medium ish setup which consist of a 7'6" rod paired with a 5000 reel spooled with 20lbs braid so I can still do some lightish fishing and not stuck with the 50lbs setup. I've looked through forums and it seems 20lbs can pretty much get you most fish landbase so kinda makes me feel like I did a stupid decision getting a 50lbs setup.
I'm fairly new to the hobby so a lot of this is probably from impulse buying (like what happens when new to hobbies haha). I'm still going to keep the 50lbs setup coz I have it already but would it be worth flicking every now and then when I'm out fishing? Kinda sucks that I haven't caught anything decent since a 85cm Queenie which got me into the hobby.

La evolución del uso de Internet desde su creación hasta 2024 desde mi punto de vista, ha impactado radicalmente nuestra sociedad en todos los aspectos.
En cuanto a la accesibilidad, los inicios eran muy limitados, a tal punto que solo las instituciones académicas y gubernamentales tenian acceso. Con el tiempo comenzó a llegar a un público más amplio, aunque aún con un acceso restringido debido a la infraestructura limitada y los altos costes que suponían. Desde la década de los 2000, Internet ha logrado una expansión progresiva y masiva hasta la actualidad, ya que casi toda la población tiene acceso potencial a Internet.
Con respecto al propósito, como he comentado anteriormente, en los primeros años fue principalmente un recurso académico y de investigación, pero con el paso de los años, Internet se ha convertido en una herramienta esencial para casi todas las actividades cotidianas.
Acerca del impacto que ha tenido en la vida cotidiana, pienso que ha sido muy grande, como he mencionado antes, lo utilizamos para casi todo como la educación (claro ejemplo pongo el ciclo formativo que estamos estudiando), trabajo (actualmente existe el teletrabajo que hace que las personas se ahorren el desplazamiento hacia el lugar correspondiente), compras (al igual que el trabajo te ahorras el desplazamiento a las tiendas), entretenimiento (si te paras a pensar, lo primero que hacemos cuando esperamos en la parada del bus o a que nos atienda el médico es coger el móvil, haciendo un uso inconsciente de Internet), y otras muchas actividades.
Por último el impacto que ha tenido en los modelos de negocio pienso que también ha sido brutal, a tal punto que se han sustituido actividades realizadas por el ser humano por un robot. Cada vez tratan de adentrarse más en el mundo tecnológico con el fin de rentabilizar el funcionamiento de la empresa lo máximo posible.

Wir fahren mit Kabel 1000mbit ziemlich gut und ich habe keinen Bedarf zu wechseln. Wir wohnen in einem Neubau, die Leerrohre für Glasfaser liegen bereits bis zur Straße. Der Aufwand ist also sehr überschaubar. Dennoch Frage ich mich ob man das Angebot in Betracht ziehen soll. Nur: wo ist der Haken? Er erzählte und dort steht überall kostenlos, kein Vertragsabschluss ist Bedingung, wir müssen nur "gestatten", dass sie das bei uns rein legen. Könnte mich jemand erleuchten, was der Haken ist? Meine Gedanken ziehen in Richtung, falls wir Mal z.B von T. Oder V. Glasfaser beziehen wollen, müssen diese die Leitung von der obigen Firma mieten?
