Hi everyone,
I’ve been reflecting on something personal and would love to hear your advice and thoughts. I was raised in a Lao-Vietnamese Buddhist household, where Buddhism is mixed with animism. Growing up, I often went to the temple with my grandmother for merit-making and alms-giving. While I respect these traditions, some of the animistic aspects don’t fully resonate with me. For example, in Lao Buddhism, there’s often a strong focus on money, like donating during alms-giving, offering money trees, and performing rituals to the ancestors that promise merit in return for donations. Every time I donated, I couldn’t help but wonder where does my money go spiritually is there a spiritual bank? (Of course, I know the money helps the temple with its expenses.)
Recently, I’ve been drawn to Catholicism. My interest started after attending my first Mass I was amazed by the experience, feeling deeply blessed and touched by the presence of God and Virgin Mary. I have never felt more loved and blessed than Buddhism whenever I go to the temple. I appreciated the teachings on faith, structure, and devotion. One memorable moment happened during a night class. I was bored and watched a video about Catholicism and the Virgin Mary. After the video ended, I glanced at the person’s computer screen next to me and noticed their black screen had a fingerprint smudge shaped like a cross. I saw it as a sign from God, and that’s when I realized I wanted to convert.
Since then, I’ve attended Mass three times. I even told my parents about it and shared that I wanted to convert to Catholicism. To my surprise, they were happy and supportive. They told me they actually believe in Christianity and pray privately because both sides of my family are traditionally Lao Buddhist and have been for many generations. Another surprise came when I told my grandmother about my decision she was happy for me and revealed that she had been Catholic growing up. She attended a Catholic school before deciding to leave the Church and practice Buddhism, which I never knew.
Now, I’m wondering if it’s okay to practice both Buddhism and Catholicism. Since Buddhism has been part of my family for generations, and we have a buddhist altar at home in the living room dedicated to our ancestors, complete with pictures watching over us. Would it be okay for me to have a Catholic altar in my room alongside this? Has anyone else experienced practicing two belief systems like this? I’m planning on converting to catholic through RCIA and hopefully there a speedy process to be a fully baptized catholic.

I see people run scourges as 4 man units. Are we able to do that? Additionally, splitting a unit of Kabalites and adding court of the Archon. Does that add to the unit or are they 2 different units? I have seen skari add a court and he (i believe) used it as a single unit.

I’m looking to purchase a KVM switch and need some advice. Here’s my setup:
- Gaming PC with an RX 7900 XT graphics card (I want this to always stay connected).
- MacBook M1 (via USB-C).
- Work laptop running Windows, which also has a USB-C port.
Ideally, I’d like the KVM to support the following:
- 4K at 120Hz or 1440p at 240Hz for gaming.
- USB-C input for the MacBook and work laptop.
- USB ports for peripherals like a keyboard and mouse.
- Minimal input lag or latency.

Idk honestly his most recent song is such a raw depiction of mental illness and the impact drug addiction can have on a person. Sonically it’s so jarring and mixed extremely strangely. Never heard a song that sounds quite like this. He has these apathetic, dead sounding vocals. No life in them. He somehow manages to create one of the creepiest choruses I’ve ever heard and yet, it still manages to be catchy.
Through all this chaos, he still maintains some semblance of song structure. His screams sound more intense and much more tortured than they did count up Dracula, he genuinely sounds in anguish, the emotion in this track is unreal.
I seem to be one of the only ones who genuinely enjoy this track, it’s one of the most experimental songs I’ve heard honestly and one of his rawest ever. Anybody else feel the same?

Fellow ladies,
I just wanted to issue a warning regarding a peculiar French guy that's been pestering all sorts of woman on my server. One of these women is a health professional and says he clearly shows signs of psychopathy. He is in his early 40's but has been known to on a previous server say he's in his 20's. He has also been under a different flag than France but his English is poor and he usually writes in French.
He has been playing this game for an extremely long time and holds a lot of knowledge he happily shares. Which is why he often ends up as a R4/5.
This position requires him to recruit players which offers an excellent excuse to reach out to players which tend to be only be women.
Initially he is very helpful when it comes to developing your team, is charming and a bit flirty. He often brags about his massive villa and sometimes also sends pictures (sometimes unsolicited). This often quickly (within just a few days) develops to him telling women that he loves them and that they should come visit. Often resulting in the women being spooked and rejecting him. Which in several cases has made him incredibly rude towards them in the world chat.
In other cases he has developed relationship like relations where he really has broken women's hearts when it has surfaced he has talked to others at the same time. When that's been discovered he has completely ghosted them.
The woman in question can be anyone. Young, old, married with kids. He isn't even particularly interested in seeing pictures.
He has been quite active in the world chat and gets furious easily up to the point he resorts to burning bases to make a statement.
Save your trouble with this one and STAY AWAY!! And as always speak to your leaders if ever encountering something you're not ok with.
And if the person in question reads this: Please realise this behaviour is NOT normal. Your family background has made you in a constant need of seeking confirmation. Get help before you spook or even hurt more women!

We're just getting our company off the ground, with a lot of us being returning players, enjoying the game in its current state (how it probably should have launched in 2021). Either way, our focus looks to be primarily PVE, though PVP as people enjoy it is totally welcome. Help get green back on the map or fill out your PVP track, all good stuff. We do not have plans to directly contest territory, though helping our brothers and sisters in green is well within the realm of cool things to do in an evening. With that said, our focus is PVE at the group's pace. We're just looking to clear content in the comp that suites the group, and with builds that you enjoy playing.
