2025.01.21 10:41 ThumbheadUK All of my prints are stretched!?
So everything I print is stretched. If I print a coin, it comes out oval. If I print a square, it comes out rectangular. This was supposed to be a human skull, but came out more like an alien! I did a few prints over the weekend and all of them are stretched like this.
What could be causing this? It looks fine in Chitubox Pro, the aspect ratios are fixed at 100% width and height, looks fine when it's sliced etc.
Is this something going wrong at the software end or something to do with the settings I am printing at? Should I try a different slicer or a different resin perhaps?
- Mars 5 Ultra using default settings - ELEGOO 8K Standard Photopolymer Resin 405nm in grey - Model is about 1 inch in width

Long story short we broke up last year around July and she said she still wants to be friends then moved back home which was across the world. I figured we’d just slowly drift apart and wouldn’t really talk anymore but literally everyday she keeps messaging me asking what I’m up to and stuff plus sending cat memes. The weird part is I’m not getting any sense of flirting or any desire with her to want to get back with me. I just find it weird that you’re still messaging your ex bf everyday. Like go live your own life I’m part of the past now. I do feel I’m to blame as well for not out and out saying to just stop messaging me but I just figured she would eventually stop messaging me like my previous ex’s and most ppl.

Like the title says. I have a buddy that plans to buy a 5090 as soon as he’s able, and had offered me his Gigabyte 4090 for $1000. Decent deal, however it’s claimed the 5080 will offer the same performance for the same price, (but new).
Will the 50 series card knock down 40 series second hand values, or is the 4090 still a good deal at $1000?
I know we have yet to see benchmarks and availability, but I’m always in the market for a good second hand deal.

Hey, how do you deal with this? I mark books to go in my ‘To Read Pile’. And then I follow through and read some of them but it still appears in my TRP (even after I mark them as ‘read’) which I find infuriating. So then I try to remove it and it says:
“Are you sure you want to remove this book from your lists? Your reading history and any reviews or tags will be deleted.” - so that puts the fear of g*d in me!
I’m thinking this is happening because I just mark the default edition as TBR… but then tend to read either on a kindle or as an audiobook. So, I assume it is the different editions that stops it from disappearing from my ‘To Read Pile’ automatically, is that right?
If so, can I then delete the generic/default edition from my TRP without it deleting the edition I did read from my Read list??
