Hello, I am making a post on behalf of my friend who had put together money for a Minecraft Bisect Server and it was running well so far, had one day where we made a bit of progress with 4 other people, but the very next day we had run into an issue with getting the server start.

They sent me to 2 different ubreakifix, they changed both screens and the motherboard and the inner screen still won't come on. Guten Abend,
ich bin seit 2018 in einer Bank in der IT als Systemadministrator tätig und habe dort die Ausbildung abgeschlossen.
Seit einigen Monaten jedoch ist die Arbeit an sich nicht mehr fordern wie es damals war. Es gibt weniger zu tun und die Aufgaben sind auch eher uninteressant bzw. gefühlt könnte diese jeder durchführen, da durch das Rechenzentrum im Hintergrund vieles nach Schema F abläuft. Auch gibt es seit 1 1/2 Jahren Probleme mit einem Arbeitskollegen innerhalb der Abteilung.
Zu meinem Gehalt gehören um die 47.000€ Brutto. Und man hat die Möglichkeit 2x die Woche von zu Hause zu arbeiten.
In den kommenden Wochen sind Tarifverhandlungen vorgesehen, sodass dann das Bruttogehalt wahrscheinlich auf 49.000€ steigen wird. Und eine Steigerung innerhalb der Gruppe wäre erst in 1 1/2 Jahren wieder möglich, was um die 150€ Brutto monatlich ausmacht.
Nun stelle ich mir Frage ob ich nicht doch den Arbeitgeber wechseln soll, vom Gehalt her wäre es kaum eine Verbesserung. Einstufung TV L bis zu Gruppe 10 und da gehe ich von Stufe 1 aus, das wären dann um die 50.000€ Brutto. Beide Arbeitgeber wären am gleichen Standort da würde sich nichts vom Fahrtweg ändern, man könnte beim neuen Arbeitgeber theoretisch bis zu 90% Homeoffice machen.
Das wären die Anforderungen:
Sie betreuen im Team die eingesetzten Fachverfahren der Staatsanwaltschaften. Der Schwerpunkt Ihrer Tätigkeiten ist dabei die: • Administration der bei der Justiz eingesetzten Linux-Server (vorzugsweise SLES) • Selbstständige Bearbeitungen und Analyse von Störungen (2nd- und 3rd-Level-Sup- port) • Entwicklung und Test von Bash-Scripten • Erstellung von Programmdokumentationen • Remote Computing zwischen den Welten Windows und LINUX (vorzugsweise über MobaXterm) • Betreuung der Clients in der Test- und Entwicklerumgebung • Hardwaretests für Drucker, Notebooks und Desktopsysteme • Betreuung der PDA’s für die wahlfreien Archive der Staatsanwaltschaften • Nach einer Einarbeitungszeit Zuweisung von Sonderaufgaben (z.B. Monitoring, Be- treuung großer Verfahren) • Mitarbeit in innovativen IT-Infrastruktur-Projekten der Justiz
Leider besitze ich weder Linux noch irgendwelche Script/programmier Fähigkeiten. Nur die Aufgaben klingen durchaus interessanter und man könnte sich neues Wissen aneignen.
Soll ich als Familienvater eines kleinen Kindes lieber den sicheren Weg gehen, auf aufgrund der aktuellen Lage auf dem IT Markt oder doch das Risiko wählen? Ich wollte auch eigentlich in einigen Wochen beginnen ein Fernstudium zu absolvieren.

I’m running Facebook ads to optimize for lead generation and was wondering if anyone could give me feedback on my setup before it goes live:
CAMPAIGN set up with ad objective as generating leads
AD SETS - all with the same creatives and targeting the same specific locations. the only difference is pretty much the audience optimization settings. budget is $100 a day for 7 days for each ad set. 1) broad audience testing with Advantage+ on, no suggested audience 2) audience testing with Advantage+ on, and with suggested audience 3) original audience setting (no Advantage+) with advantage detailed audience targeting 4) controlled audience testing with original audience setting (no Advantage+ and no advantage detailed audience targeting)
because of how this is set up, the goal would first be to determine which audience settings work best for this business. and then we’d go in and test different creatives.
one issue I have is that the ad set audiences might overlap and compete with each other. would this significantly skew results or should I just run the campaign and measure the results?
when I checked for audience overlap, ad sets 2 and 3 showed 100% similarity - but if so, then what are the differences in settings, and how could I determine which one to eliminate?
does how I did this make sense, or is there a better way to set up this test?

Hi everyone, I’m a huge fan of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams and have enjoyed the British audiobook version narrated by Stephen Fry. However, I’m specifically looking for a version with an American accent, if such a recording exists.
Does anyone know if there’s an official or unofficial release with an American narrator? Or perhaps a fan-made version?
