I have a genuine question for Kingston drivers doing something specific. I'm seeing many people at a stop light stopping their car over a car length behind the car in front. I would love to know the reason why you would stop well over 12 feet behind the car in front. I began noticing this in 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic as if people were afraid to be too close to another car for fear of catching COVID.
I truly would love to know what the reason is for stopping so far behind the car in front of you. I cannot figure it out as I see nothing but downsides to it but the only way to learn is to ask, so here I am.

 | Hey all, my STi developed rod knock yesterday and I need another car until I can put a new block in it. I had '13 OBL 2.5i CVT before the STi, wasn't a fan of the engine, transmission, or 4th gen body styling, but loved the interior. I wanted another Outback anyway (to replace my '93 Miata daily that got totaled by a Bronco a few months back), so I hope to keep this for a while. The question is, which of these is the better buy? I saw the '01 today, (asking $3,000) and made a list of notes. I'm seeing the '08 ($4,500) on Friday, which I'm more enthusiastic about, but the '01 seller told me it's going to auction on Thursday... It's hard to see in the pictures, but the '01 exterior is in pretty rough shape cosmetically. Looks like there were a couple decent scrapes in its life. No real dents or crashes as far as I can see, though something bigger must have happened to the rear. Is it worth waiting to see the '08 or should I jump on the '01? Found out about Opengoal yesterday. What an awesome thing.. So I downloaded it to my Steam Deck through the Deckyloader open goal plug-in.
Today I found out you can ALSO add high resolution texture packs to it... My issue is I already started the game. I'm reading you have to install the textures in the data folder and then reinstall the game. Okay, easy enough. But will this keep my save data?

This game is so buns. it's ruined by crackheads that can't box, so they just throw hooks and hay makers. and the devs actually give incentives for this. no real boxing works unless you have a 2m ring. I got hook spammed by people with no form. didn't hit my face. hit my shoulders and still koed. I cannot for the life of me understand how I, as a boxer myself. cannot beat these troglodytes who use the bad hit boxes to phase thru and hookspam. this game is so asscheeks.

Hi all, looking for some advice here. I am feeling very burnt out with the insurance industry. I have worked at a few different companies and have done well, my base pay is $225k plus commissions which is almost unheard of in my industry. I credit this to getting incredibly lucky with meeting the right people at the right times and exceptional interviewing skills. That’s the good. There’s much more bad to list. 1. I absolutely loathe quoting or heavy paperwork. I am much better when it comes to networking, wining and dining etc. 2. I don’t have a college degree. 3. I’m about to turn 30 and have a young family. 4. I am not strong when it comes to organization, but very strong in relationship building.
Please excuse the informality of my post. I am feeling incredibly lost and anxious. After switching companies multiple times leveraging that experience for a salary bump I feel that this likely reflects poorly on my resume. I also am afraid to throw away such a good salary but I’m really not happy and can’t see myself doing this for years to come. I work with high net worth clients exclusively.
My passions are Motorsports and all things Porsche, but am open to considering saas business development jobs etc.
TLDR - are there any jobs out there for someone in insurance that has a proven sales record but hates the paperwork? I don’t have a college degree and currently make over $250k and feel there’s no other options that could match this.
