 | Hi everyone, Our lab Mya is turning 9 in september. She’s got a bit of a limp on her back right (nothing too serious at the minute)so the vets happy for us to keep her on her current supplements. The problem? She hasn’t went on a walk in a week, she goes for a walk around the block but is basically immediately pulling back home. She played for 20 minutes with her ball on friday but thats it. I’m ringing the vets tomorrow too see if she can get pain killers. 2025.01.22 00:32 RobBecTraxxx For defenders not following their opp into the box, I think this slider helps!
I almost stopped playing the game altogether after being so frustrated by defenders not marking/following their assigned opponents into the box when they go on runs cause 4 on 2 situations etc.
Then, I lowered the “Position: Run Frequency -CPU” slider and got much better results so far. The description of the sliders says it “Increases/decreases the number of runs the teammates of the CPU will make” I lowered from the default 50 to 25 and I’m experiencing less unrealistic, outnumbered situations. See if it works for you too!

Hello, I just built a brand new pc, using the MSI PRO B760 wifi VC IV motherboard. It came with a wifi antenna different than the manual. There isn’t a wifi adapter showing up in device manager. I have downloaded all the drivers from a usb for the MSI Pro B760 Wifi version page on MSI. There isn’t a driver for wifi, on the MSI page for my specific motherboard.
I was just wondering if anyone had the same issue or has a solution. I’ve never done this before and I can’t figure it out. A friend of mine who has done this multiple times dosnt know where to for from here either. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Been on this sub for a while (graduated May 2024) and I know the job market is tough right now, but I am curious about the distribution of career paths members of the sub are taking.
It seems every single post is about software engineering. I think ML/AI may come in second but for the most part it seems like everyone here wants to be a SWE. There are so many other paths you can take with a CS degree that it kind of shocks me. This is a personal opinion, but SWE is the most boring subject of CS I have ever had learn. I mean making clean, scalable code is a high but I don’t think I could do it for a career.
Anyways, I am wondering if anyone here is not trying to be a SWE haha? I studied a lot of SWE in college but eventually pursued cybersecurity and got a certificate while in school. Still, I applied to SWE jobs as well. Never had any luck even with a decent resume but I had multiple interviews pretty quickly after applying for cybersecurity (SOC, CTI, most analysts stuff).
I hope this doesn’t come off as ignorant because I’m the search is touch I think I applied to over 200 SWE jobs :/ BUT I feel like a lot of you are racing a thousand other people for position you apply to and a lot of people don’t even seem to enjoy SWE despite all the cool shit you can do if you like computers.

2025.01.22 00:32 Gold-Ad-3350 How do you remind yourself to be happy with what you have? Do you ever feel wealthy?
My(34m) wife(33f) has mentioned that I seem to always be looking for what is next and never stop to "smell the roses". I'm extremely aware that I'm very lucky, but never felt like we're doing as well as I'd like to be.
For context I earn about £170k, (income rocketed over the last 6 years, was earning 50k 6 years ago). In that time we've had two children, saved and bought our first home and now moved to our "forever home", which requires a fair amount of work.
We don't wear designer clothes, we don't have a fancy car (Japanese SUV roughly 18k)
0 debt outside of mortgage (circa 24% of monthly take home). But I'm still never satisfied.My wife thinks it's because everyone I know through work also does very well.
I know I'm extremely ridiculously lucky. But I don't ever seem to be happy with it. How do you reality check yourselves? How do you make yourselves happy with where you are?

I sadly got a DQ on my psych (which is whatever) but i realize i have the option to withdraw my application from the test itself. Would it be better to withdraw the application or let the DQ ride out? I don't find myself looking to appeal it because it just seems like a big waste of time and money
