With the 1% having an ever-growingly bigger share of the country's wealth - 30% for the US after a quick search, where does the inequality stop? Will we forever walk towards more discrepant numbers like 40%, 50%, 60%... 80%?
I'm sure future trillionaires aren't willing to give up on their wealth to the point where it makes a significant difference for the poorer classes.
Does the hoarding just go on forever?
You might mention revolution but that also doesn't seem plausible with technology growing in exponential manners. These guys will just hire mini armies to defend their money empires.
I have not read any Marxist literature, so keep in mind this question comes from someone pretty much illiterate regarding this subject.

I got the OnePlus 12 about a year ago and I've been using the protector that came with the phone it has a couple scratches and bubbles by the edges and it's gerts dirty really easily. It also messes with the screen when it gets wet when it shouldn't due to this phone's aqua touch. It's hard to find good screen protectors for this phone and I'm reading bad reviews on all of them... Is it just worth it to go on without a screen protector?

 | My lil mini babies, Lucy and Aslan. I love a good theme. They are genetically neice and Uncle. Lucy is two, Aslan is six. They will be three and seven this year. They enjoy living on the frozen tundra that is currently Colorado. My friend grooms them and she loves doing whatever weird haircut I suggest. Aslan is usually kept in a pony clip but we recently went with what my friend calls the "receding hairline". Lucy is in the "chicken lollipop". Lucy is 8lbs and Aslan is 13lbs. Who else gets worried their pup is too thin when they get shaved down? I always forget they're so tiny! Lucy is besties with my 65lbs German shepherd AmStaff mutt and my 8lbs cat since they're the same size. Aslan is a gentle sweet quiet soul who plays well but enjoys cuddling with my ancient 14 year old Meatball JRT mutt. Lucy is a wild card and brings the fun to the party. Her original buyer backed out last minute and within 15 minutes of my friend telling me she was up, my husband had the hotel booked and venmoed. Aslan was purchased for our daughter when she turned 10 and honestly, it was the best thing we ever did. 2025.01.22 00:41 ChronicallyCrude I had a NSFW dream I had years ago again. It was weird.
I have generally no idea why I had this dream again The last time I had a sex dream was 4 years ago. (I write down my dreams and I checked.) Usually, I am a vivid and lucid dreamer. Yet, it felt like I had no control over my dream again. I posted this a few years a back in this sub with an old account
I should tell you a little myself so maybe you can understand somethings that I will explain.
I have a bachelor's degree in literature and writing. I used to be a psychology major as well but I dropped it. I recently got into the film industry before the pandemic.
My orientation is heterosexual, I am male, I am 33 years old. When I first had this dream I was 29.
As far as relationships go, I do not go past friendships. I choose not to have sex. I don't do hookups, causal date, long term or short term relationships. No friends with benefits. This is how I choose to live. And this is for two reasons. Number one that I have difficulty navigating the importance and why people want a relationship. To that extent, I have trained myself to not find anyone sexually attractive.
Number two, and more importantly, it has to do with my stance on eugenics. I have several genetic disorders. Two of them affect my immune system . If the idea of reproduction is to produce the strongest of the species so we can survive as a species, survival of the fittest usually takes place. Therefore, I have a damaged genetics. If that is a detriment to the individual with it, then it will be a detriment to the gene pool as a whole. Therefore in an overpopulated world, the healthiest should be the ones to reproduce.
Finally, even before my genetic issues started to show, I was always disturbed by anyone finding me attractive. I have found out why late last year.
For some reason in my dream, a majority of the time I'm responding with lyrics from a song.
I'm with a group of people in a parking lot outside in abandoned Barnes & Noble building where I live. I'm the only one with a camera. I'm surrounded by people I don't recognize. But we're standing in a circle and looks like there is a spotlight over us. This woman is going over the rules. She says something to the effect of the following:
- Once you get inside, take your clothes off.
- you must be willing to appear on camera.
- have the sex you want.
We go in and I start to set up the camera. We can't see anything but what the spotlight is showing. As I'm sending up the camera to be shoulder-mounted the woman who went over the rules tells me to take off my clothes and I tell her that "But I won't do that" (I'd do anything for love by Meatloaf)
Out of the nine of us that are there are only three guys. Some bald headed guy, some Playboy looking guy and myself. The guy with the Rich Playboy sort has two women on each arm and she does not bother him even though he still has his clothes on. It looked like a silky metallic green tuxedo that he was wearing.
Anyway, I start shooting pretty much everybody going at it. Some people are in a group. One couple is in the 69 position. The bald-headed guy and a blonde woman are in the missionary position but they're not doing anything. Until I get closer and the guy continuously punches her thighs with full force and she's smiling at this. I get a closer and I start to feel disturbed and I say in a whisper to myself "You're all star, get paid" (Allstar by Smash Mouth). She is happy that her thighs are getting the shit beat out of them and that's when they start to go at it when I'm close by.
I keep my camera pointed at them and I turn my head to the side and get a look of the woman who was going over the rules. She has such a sad face looking at me. But it's not sad in the sense that she is sad but more like a pitiful sad. Like it's meant for her to communicate to me something. As soon as she goes back to whatever it was it she was doing, she is happy and joyful again.
Soon after that, people start showing up and for some reason it looks like a mixture between the second floor living room in my house and picture of the bar area my parents wanted to put in the basement years ago.
There's a guy standing in the hallway leaning up against the wall. He is balancing a pair of scissors on his peach fuzz hair. I jokingly ask him why he needs the scissors for and he responds jokingly "How do you expect to hook anything like that?"
I respond with "So, I won't even try. Think I'll have myself a beer." (Beer by Reel Big Fish)
Once again, this woman gives me another look. This time it's more disgusted at me. This only lasts for a second.
I walk over to behind the bar so I can get a wide shot and I see that one of the participants is trying to sneak a snack. Some sort of granola bar. I start singing some sort of jingle that would make him laugh. But also out loud so that way everyone knows that he's sneaking food.
People laughing continue about the activities.
Some guy walks in and as he's getting undressed he's talking to me. He's talking to me as if he knows me, and I'm responding likewise. He asks me "how have you been otherwise?"
So I say "Feeling like a freak on a leash. Feeling like I have no release. I try to every night all in vain" ( Freak on a Leash by Korn)
At the moment that lady calls me over and hands me a check. She tell me thank you and I start to walk away. She calls out to me but that is when I woke up.
I have no idea what any of this means.
I have never had a dream that involved sex in it that had people I didn't recognize. Although, it is not the first that had sex that I did not partake in the act.
It is weird to me that I would have this dream again, as it happened years later.

 | This was on my SLC-EWR flight yesterday night. Was delighted to have gotten an upgrade to comfort+ only to realize I had a broken air vent blowing freezing air at my face. To make things worse it was a completely full flight so I couldn’t even be reseated anywhere else when I asked the flight attendant. Wasn’t expecting to be wearing my winter jacket and beanie on a flight but let’s just say it was the coldest and most uncomfortable 4 hour flight I’ve taken 🙄. We are average, middle-class people. We are talking about sending our son, a current 7th grader, to Saint X or Moeller, two really great private schools, for the start of his high school. Is it worth the financial sacrifice?
He currently goes to Mason Schools and that is a good school system, but we are interested in the smaller class sizes and the opportunities that it can afford.
