I do not play WoW, but I often watch piratesoftware as a non subscriber (he just shows up in my shorts), the last couple of days I've noticed certain controversies but I don't understand the concepts.
From what I gather his guild are playing Hard-core which means permadeath, a command of Run was given during a raid. He ran and at least 2 people died after the group turned around from their retreat to reengage the mobs.
Can someone please explain what happened to someone who doesn't play?

Hi everyone. I (39F) and my partner (36M) have been together a few years. Our relationship started off a but rocky, partially because he humiliated me at his work party by having him and his coworker inform me, loudly, in front of everyone that my ex had cheated on me a lot in our relationship (I had no idea). They work in the same industry, and my partner felt I needed to know. I guess he felt that was a great time to do it.
Over our relationship, he brings him up occasionally to inform me of his dating life, despite my request not to hear it. The ex and I had tried to remain friendly after our breakup, and my partners frequent reminders led to me telling my ex off and blocking him for good.
He also mentioned in a disagreement about my shitty ex's (I was young, inexperienced, and didn't know what a healthy relationship should be), that I don't choose well because one of my (not the same as the cheating ex) exs raped me. I was upset at this, he apologized, I've tried to move on.
However, yesterday my partner informed me that he heard at work that my ex is dating someone 14 years younger than him now, and may be visiting my home town. The resentment of hearing about an ex again made me very upset, I couldn't believe his lact of tact and respect. I am still trying to overcome trauma from my past relationships, and he knows this. I became really upset and told him I don't want to hear these things, and couldn't believe how he thought that was an okay thing to tell me. If it was a one time occurrence, sure, but after this happening multiple times I just couldn't hold it in anymore.
He told me that he was trying to look out for me and protect me, but all I feel is dirty, used, and hideous.
I ended up apologizing for my reaction, as I did say some unkind things due to this building frustration, and it wasn't okay of me. He said he felt he was doing the right thing, then began telling me I was in the wrong for being rude to him.
I feel confused and uncertain if my feelings are valid or if I'm taking this too personally. I feel lost. AIO about this?

Moved to step 5 on the 17th of January. Got home and checked the tracker and it showed temp jurisdiction as Winston Salem was pumped about that.
Checked again today on the tracker and now TJ is gone or now registered as N/A…I’m not incredibly worried because the claim is gonna go thru its process regardless but just curious if this is a common occurrence.

I've always used PayPal here in US. Right now it is not accessible to me as a payment option (grayed out).
I talked to an agent and they say something like "system upgrades", but can't clarify or state when it will be available again. I'm a bit nervous they locked my account from using it because I had to file 2 disputes over the past month or so due to them not accepting a return, and another for a stolen item.

Some context, I grew up in a very disturbed household. My mother had 4 kids all by the same meth addict by the time she was 22. When she and my dad split, she slept around for some time and then met my step-dad. He was an ex-convict and served 12 years in prison for gang violence and robbery. Soon after that me and my siblings were put in foster care because of their abuse. Somehow after 2 years my mom got all 4 of us back.
My stepdad ran the household like it was a prison. No showers more than 5 minutes or there would be punishment. Food had to be earned. My mom just went with all of it, she seemed to like all the things my stepdad was doing. They were physically and mentally violent. My oldest brother, about 5 years older got addicted to drugs and they let him come stay with us and he’d also get physical with me and my other siblings, which my parents enabled by continuously allowing him to stay. Cops were at my house all the time, I even know some of them personally. They were no help.
I had an older brother, only a year older who had type-1 diabetes. He was mentally delayed so he struggled with learning how to actually care for himself with all the insulin dosages. Eventually he decided he had enough of the abuse and ran away to literal strangers. He died 3 days later and my mother blamed me for it.
My mom and stepdad died last year after I fled from them and for some reason I still hold on to some hope. Maybe I was loved, even though I was never treated as such. I can’t help but hold on and I struggle with this daily. Does anyone have any advice?

I’m about three weeks into my phlebotomy program at my community college. It’s a 3 month accelerated program, and I absolutely love what I’m doing so far. I’ve been doing well on the tests, and I understand most of the material. However, I’ve been struggling to fully grasp and memorize the order of draw and the purposes of the different tubes.
Phlebotomy and healthcare in general is entirely new to me. I find myself second guessing my ability to remember all the essentials, like the order of draw, which tubes have additives or don’t, which ones are coagulants or anticoagulants, and which department each sample goes to (e.g., hematology, chemistry, etc.). I’m also trying to keep track of what needs to be kept on ice, what to avoid shaking, and how to properly handle everything.
Next month, we’ll begin clinicals, and I want to feel confident by then, but I’m starting to feel a bit discouraged. Many of my classmates already have the order of draw memorized and seem to understand the purposes of the tubes with ease, while I’m still trying to piece it all together. I can’t help but compare myself and feel like I’m falling behind, even though I know I’m trying my best.
I’ve sacrificed a lot to be here. I left my job and devoted all my time to this program because I want to succeed in this field. But when I feel behind, it makes me doubt myself.
