I'm a Texas girly and I wanted to adore this show. There is a lot about it that is really good. Billy Bob Thornton was one of them, I can't begin to say how many men I've met that are just like him.
But so many of the small details of the show are terrible. As a girl who grew up going to hundreds of Friday night games, I can't figure out what the hell was up with the game in the first episode.
If I remember correctly, he pretty clearly says that Ainsely is coming to stay with him for Spring Break and the absolute HS stand out from Ft Worth just happens to be on the plane with her. And they just so happen to be driving down the road and there's a HS game.
I have never in my life heard of a game in the spring. Ok, maybe I have it wrong and misheard and the game is actually a normal fall game and there's a time jump to spring break later on.
Ok if it's in the fall, there is no way that the super, mega HS recruit isn't going to be playing in his own game. HS football is more popular than Jesus and those guys don't miss those games. And this guy is so recognizable as that girls who aren't from his town instantly recognize him.
Something doesn't work here. Again for someone not from Texas this may not seem like a bit deal but Tyler Sheridan really tried to make the state culture almost like a background character and that was a HUGE detail to get wrong.

Feels like a lot of people with BDD are in relationships or have been and I’m so jealous. Never had one relationship ever in my life and I haven’t received a compliment since I was a child. I know I’m ugly, and I actually like that I’m self aware of it. At least I won’t go out thinking I’m attractive only to be laughed at.
I’m so jealous of anyone who has received proof they’re not ugly but just doesn’t believe it. I’ve only ever received proof I’m ugly. From my dad, my sister, friends, peers, to strangers. The last time anyone was interested in me was when I was a kid.
The only thing that keeps me going is my plan to save up and one day get plastic surgery

I'll try and keep this post as short as possible without delving into half my life story.
Long story short, Quote Me Happy Connect seems to be the cheapest insurance company for me. I'm with Hastings Direct YouDrive where the black box is quite leanient.
The black box rules for QMH seem all similar to Hastings Direct apart from 'usage'. This as far as I know can mark you down for night driving and 7+ trips a day.
Question is, how often would I be able to drive at night in a week/month and for how long until it becomes a problem. This is on the assumption all my other scores are in the green range so it will just be my usage score ambered.
I understand if the average score is red 2 weeks in a row or 4 reds in 3 months then the policy will be subject to cancellation, but not sure if individual scores in red can have an affect (apart from use of speed maybe).
I don't usually drive at night as much as I used to and really just use my car to go to work and back, but there are times where I do drive past hours but quite rarely now.

Hello fellow gamers!
Recently, I’ve become OBSESSED with finding a way to play my games anywhere in the house. I have a PS5 in my room and a gaming PC in my office. For games that support cross-progression, like The Witcher and Cyberpunk, it’s been great to switch between platforms.
The living room, however, has been the most challenging spot. I have an Apple TV there, and both my PC and Apple TV are connected via Ethernet. Steam Link WORKS, but the latency makes it unusable for me.
I tried solving this by buying a 30 ft high-quality HDMI 2.1 cable to connect my PC directly to the TV. This brought a new set of problems:
- Display scaling issues: My office monitor is a 1440p 144Hz DisplayPort setup, while my living room TV is a 1080p 60Hz HDMI display. Switching between the two is a hassle and messes up the settings.
- Controller latency: My Bluetooth controller has significant latency at that distance, which ruins the experience.
At this point, I’m at a loss. Do I need to get a third console or PC for the living room? Or is there another solution I haven’t considered? I'm someone who cannot stop until i fix or find a solution to something and reddit is my last resort lol.
