 | Last year, maybe 2023, I was at a concert and the singer threw his hat (I think? It was a very chaotic, metal show) and I ended up getting it. It has a lot of sentimental value to me and I lost it a few months back. I've been searching the internet every now and then and kinda started to give up hope of finding the exact same hat. This is my last hope. The brand is Muka, and there's one in neon green on ebay (the second picture), but I want another black one. What olive oil with only a very light flavor would you recommend for cooking? For example, the primary use would be for scrambling/ frying eggs. Or sauteing thin cuts of chicken breast for chicken piccatta. The one time that I bought olive oil from Costco in the past, it had a very strong smell and taste and was not at all suitable for cooking. Thank you.

It was just a stray thought I had in the moment, nothing deep, but I think it’s kinda funny that the majority of ”pro-life” aren’t even pro life enough to stop eating actual living beings.

I don’t watch a lot of live TV or sports. I use my Firestick to sideload apks for movies and TV shows. Any reason to get an IPTV? In NY so is throttling an issue? Want to keep it simple and it seems between finding a reliable IPTV and the learning curve it’s easier to stick with what I have. Thanks

2025.01.22 00:30 AaronM_Miner EPSON SureColor P700 - Can't Print on Gloss Cover Stock?
I started my own zine, and figured I'm at small enough volumes I'd prefer to print and cut the covers myself. Having failed at doing so with a Canon Pixma, I went for a more advanced Canon but, the supplier being out of them, ended up getting a SureColor P700 instead.
The zine is in an 8.5x5.5 format, not including spine, so I have to print on 11x17, one-sided gloss and cut it down. Problem is, the printer keeps smudging the image catastrophically. At first, any attempt to print using the default rear feeder resulted in a complete smudge when it came out the front, on account of not having enough clearance. A glance through the print window showed it wasn't an issue with the print head: the smearing happened upon roll ejection.
So I tried loading it through the front feeder. Once I finally figured that out, the situation grew even worse: the print head itself smeared the ink as it deposited it on the gloss surface. This was right before I ran into major communications issues with the device.
I solved the information problem, at least, and located the "thick paper" setting in the menu. I tried again through the rear feeder, and it came out fine—until the roll eject at the end, which streaked the ink. So I decided to try it through the front feeder without the roll eject, and the print head's still smearing the ink even with the additional clearance. There is no discernible change at all.
So here's the thing: the problem can be solved entirely if I can lift the print head further up while using the front feeder, or disable the roll ejection function when using the rear feeder. But clearly the software doesn't raise the print head up far enough when I use the front feeder, and will only let me disable the roll ejector on the front feeder. I called up customer service and they have told me, so far, that the maximum paper thickness is .011 inches, making a 12-point cover stock print impossible.
However, the specifications claim this printer can handle up to 1.5mm, or about .06in worth of paper. So this just doesn't track.
I paid a decent amount for this device and would like to make some use of it. Has anyone else gotten it to work with 12pt cover stock? Do I need to adjust settings? Hack the driver? Or is it all moot, and is there a better printer for a one-man press that doesn't threaten to shatter every piggy bank in a ten-mile radius with an operatic price tag?
