2025.01.22 04:10 Montyswel579 Let me lay it out for the people who are lost in what this game is.
The Isle is the steam front page game. You are paying for The isle (LEGACY).
The one you all are complaining about is a TESTING BRANCH called EVRIMA, the game that is what The isle is going to eventually be developed in to. Legacy Isle is no longer in development, and they're focusing all resources on Evrima, which will be its own game down the line and will replace the current The Isle steam page once everything is completed. You actively have to switch from the game you purchased, to the testing branch. Things are going to change CONSTANTLY with Evrima. It is an ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT TESTING BRANCH, not the full game. It will change. They will release tests and hoard severs on the regular to make sure everything runs fine, take the feedback and move with it appropriately. Evrima will have three phases by the sounds of it, Dinosaurs and their gameplay first Environment updates and changes/optimization Human gameplay and bases. Dondi has a vision for the game, and he's sticking to it, which is completely understandable. If you have feedback, please be civil about it and not attack the developers. If the feedback has been heard 10000x over they're obviously not going to answer you and have most likely answered it before, and could most likely be found in their Q&A section. All that I see is people judging the testing branch like it's a finished product when it's no where close. We won't see a true full release for a long time! A very long time. They're focusing on the dinosaur mechanics and their gameplay first, releasing playable dinosaurs, and testing their mechanics with hoard tests. This doesn't mean that they're going to stay this way in ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT. Optimization will come down the line, but they're working on other items first. If you don't have the patience for a game, which may I remind you is in ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT, then play the version you paid for, The isle (LEGACY). Too long, didn't read: You're all complaining about an in-development testing branch like it's a full released game.

I am very frustrated that not one single model for the Valentine’s Day drop is above a size small. When skims first launched she was praised for showing all body types but it has slowly moved away from that unless it’s an item that has all the nudes that’s about the only time we see a model that is not a size small. 2025.01.22 04:10 Fragrant-Pin-8231 GPU Clock Explanation
Got a XFX 7900 GRE and I notice while gaming, depending on the game, the clock will be 1700 up to past 2500 on default settings. When you look up this video card it says: base clock of up to 1705 MHz, a game clock of up to 2052 MHz, and a boost clock of up to 2395 MHz.
My question is how is it reaching 2500+ without me overclocking it? Overclocking, I do start getting instability past 2600 and past 2400 memory. I see most people say to set it to 2800 and 2316 fast timings memory, but the fast timings makes me crash eventually on Pal World.
On games like Hogwarts Legacy, I get 52 to 55 FPS at 4k native ultra no RT, which is exactly what I used to get on the 4070 Ti Super I returned. Does that mean this thing is matching a $800 graphics card?
I'm further confused when I look at the new line up of 50 series cards and notice that the 5070 ti will have lower clock than the 4070 ti super. But people tell me clock isn't everything and the 5070 ti will outperform.
How true is all this and what do I look at to measure performance? I'm looking to play natively at 4k 60 fps or 1440p, max settings without relying on any upscaling or frame gen on future games.
P.S. Will FSR4 make it's way to the 7900 GRE eventually?

i will say i’m “food aggressive” as my brother puts it. i don’t like when people touch my food, reach for my food, let alone eat my food UNLESS i offer. personally i love sharing- idk ive always been like that as a kid i loved sharing my toys or snacks. even that though was very limited and far between with my snacks but ive been trying to get better abt it.
HOWEVER i brought brownies to my work and left them at the desk. they were the cheap lil walmart brownies and it was nothing crazy but me and some other coworkers were snacking on them. well- i came back from the bathroom thinking abt the brownies. mind you before i left to the bathroom there were 3 left and suddenly all three of them were gone. ik i left them at the desk so it’s only fair they were gonna be eaten. but the CONTAINER WAS STILL THERE!! frustrated and somewhat annoyed and on the verge of angry tears i asked my coworker what happened. she giggled and said “my bad op, you brought them so i thought everyone could have some” idk why that made me even more mad i told her it was rude to eat the last of something someone else bought. she offered to get me more but i was already over it and just walked away. i ignored her all day and didn’t respond. it’s been like a month and im still mad abt it.
i’m 21 and ik i need to act like an adult but i feel like im kinda justified but my brother said im being dramatic. am i though? wouldn’t anyone else be mad?
