I noticed that a Discord server was recently created for CS 262 but was taken down after a professor advised against it. On Piazza, it was mentioned that platforms like Discord and GroupMe are not officially sanctioned for the course. I was wondering if the CS department has updated its policies regarding the use of unofficial platforms for class discussions. In the past, we’ve had some of these platforms for other courses without issue, but there wasn’t anything about this on the syllabus. Has anyone else noticed a change in the policy?

Hi guys!!
I wanted to share a bit of success with POTS, hopefully to give some of y'all hope that it does get better! I just completed my first marathon this past weekend, and it's made me a little emotional just thinking about how far I've come.
I've been sick with POTS for a good 8 years now, and it's taken me a very long time get to this point. Was bed ridden in high school and basically had to finish my high school degree from my bed lol. Couldn't go off to college, and lost a lot of friends. POTS has affected every single decision and factor in my life. I was a cross country and track runner before I got sick, and I've alwayyyyss wanted to run a marathon even before I got POTS, but it just seemed impossible after I was so sick.
I was on a pretty high dose of ivabradine for 5 years, and I was able to get off of it because of diet, lots of exercise, and lifestyle changes. It took a really long time for me to get to the point where I could run again, but I did it!! And I just finished my first marathon in 4 hours and 33 minutes.
Please do not lose hope! I remember when I was in the thick of it and it was very dark. You got this <3.

I know everyone is getting in their final nomination predictions, and my biggest concern is with the 5th slot at Best Actress. Most people have Mikey Madison and Demi Moore as two locks for the category. Then i'd say most people would also have Cynthia Erivo, and Karla Sofia Gascon as getting a nomination, since they both haven't missed any precursors and are in Best Picture contenders.
For the final slot, it seems most people are split between predicting Fernanda Torres, Marianne Jean Baptiste, Pamala Anderson and Angelina Jolie. I see most people predicting Fernanda Torres, won the Golden Globe, but missed everywhere else or Baptiste who is nominated at Critics Choice and BAFTA.
However I am concerned, because if you're predicting this to happen, then you're predicting the Academy, an organisation famous for snubbing women of colour in Best Actress, to nominate 3 Women of Colour, 1 of whom is also a trans woman. The Academy has many times snubbed women of colour, especially in Best Actress. Women of colour have no problem showing up in Supporting Actress, but struggle more in Best Actress. Most years, if a woman of colour is nominated she is the sole nominee of colour that year.
1972 (Diana Ross & Cicely Tyson), 2020 (Viola Davis & Andra Day) and 2022 (MIchelle Yeoh & Ana De Amas) are the only three years where 2 women of colour have been nomianted for Best Actress.
Do we really think that the Academy is groundbreaking enough to nominate a trans woman of colour, and two other women of colour in the same year?
Maybe I'm overthinking it, and this year will be a groundbreaking year for the Oscars with representation, which I would love to see honestly. But the Oscars has disappointed me many a time before regarding nominating women of colour (Lupita N'yongo 2019, Viola & Danielle Deadwyler 2023, and countless other times).
Currently I feel the Oscars would rather go for Pamala Anderson ( although she isn't a previous nominee). So maybe Nicole Kidman for Babygirl, or Angelina Jolie for Maria?

I'm able to buy robux regularly, but I specifically want premium. When I go to buy premium, I'm only given a blank screen. I've tried reinstalling, clearing all data, and having windows try to repair the app, but nothing has worked so far. I just specifically want to transfer a xbox gift card over to premium.
