2025.01.22 01:02 SouljaBoyPlayzYT The audio of my computer randomly gets louder.
Hey! I have an issue where my audio randomly doubles, and it usually happens when any new audio plays. For example, if I'm watching YouTube and I clock to a new video, my audio will get louder. It also happens when I type, because I use Opera GX and every button click makes a sound. This only goes back to normal when I change the master volume of my PC and then turn it back. As soon as the master volume is changed in either direction, the computer's volume becomes acceptable again. I know this is not a problem with my external speakers, because it happens when I use headphones too.
Additional context
-The computer is a Dell OptiPlex 7020 Small Form Factor. The processor is an i5-4590 (released May 2014) so I'm guessing the computer is from 2015 or 2016.
-This computer came from my dad's work, a company at his building moved out and left all their stuff (because they're a rich company and can buy more) so he brought it home.
- When I got the computer, it still had all of the data from when it was used as an office desktop. The password was taped to the outside of the case, so I logged in and factory reset it. Checking my build specs now, the computer says the OS was installed on 1/7/2024 (US Calendar) so that was the day I factory reset it.
-When I first started using this computer, I didn't have this problem, and it only came around in the summer of 2024.
-My OS build is 18363.2274
If anyone knows anything, please let me know. The matter is not urgent, but I would like to get it fixed at some point. Thanks!

This one won't be the best, but it is my first attempt at posting one of these here. I know there are similar ones.
The first option is you can live for 10 more years. They will be wonderful, joyful, peaceful years. You may still have to work, but life will be good. You know in 10 years from now you will die peacefully in your sleep, but your fine with it. If you have a family, there may be some sadness about the time you will not spend with them, but it will still be a good 10 years. In fact, I will say it will be the best 10 years of your life.
Option 2: You get 50+ more years (at least a guaranteed 50). For those of you with families, that is at least 50 years with your loved ones (maybe more). And they will not all be bad, but at some point, as you get older you will either get dementia, or a horrible cancer, or some other painful ailment. You do not know when it will happen, but you know will die a miserable death, one which may not be quick (suicide is not an option, if you choose this, it will be painful and I will even say it will be a slow, miserable death). You can still enjoy your time, but in the back of your mind you must know you will die from a slow death (could be months, could be years) and when it starts, your existence will be misery. Plus, the years leading up could still be trouble filled.
Would you rather have 10, joyful (I will even say the best 10 years of your life) or at least 50 (maybe more) of many good years (though you are not promised to be trouble free before you reach that 50+) knowing you will die a slow, painful death. But, you would get more time with your loved ones.

 | Fixed some jeans for a friend. Little did they n know it was the first time I’ve fixed jeans while trying to make it invisible! Used some fusible interfacing on a thicker piece of similar color cotton, because I couldn’t find donor jeans. I stitched around the outline to tack it into place, before doing the actual stitching. Started out doing 2 different thread colors, but ended up doing most of it with the lighter color. Jeans will fade with washing so I went with lighter instead of darker - I usually use darker thread for most mends. When mending jeans, remember to stitch up and down, and also along the diagonal, to blend in with the existing pattern. At first I tried to do this with minimal stitching, but found it blended better the more stitching I did. Then I just kinda went nuts going back and forth over and over.
