- Bernie Beigne - fun, good donuts
- Cachitos - ham and cheese cachito, nice and salty, buttery and sweet 🤌🏻
- Carlota Boulangerie Mexicaine - best fucking tamales I've ever had, the masa is super fresh and moist, has an artisanal feel like they milled it themselves
- Épicerie Pumpui - willing to put up with burning diarrhea for two days just to eat their spicy pork and fresh green peppercorn dish, great curries, great vibe, wonderful art and merch
- Le Super Qualité - the little sour cream salad things are my favorite, great upbeat approachable, clean resto
- Lulu Épicerie - the cheese manakeesh is so good. they cook the dough right there to order, like a pizza in a little fire oven. also enjoy the filet mignon wrap and lemony tabbouleh
- Mano Cornuto - only been for lunch, but great drinks, a loud festive atmosphere, excellent carbs and italian meats
- MONO - best sandwiches in montreal. amazing what you can do with a mini oven and excellent ingredients. the bread is fantastic, and they are generous with kids
- Pichai - new school thai... mmmmmmm
- Pizza Bouquet - my traditional pizza joint
- Restaurant El Chalateco - papusas, but the curtido is the icing on the cake
- Restaurant La Toile - 4.9 stars and close to 500 google reviews. hidden gem near atwater, love that they aren't beholden to customer favorites and always dish up new and inventive neapolitan style pizzas
- TACO TRUNP - fuck trump, and fuck with these tacos
- SEGRETA Pizza AL Taglio + Epicerie Italienne - half focaccia, half pizza. the pepperoni one is too much for me, but dont sleep on the potato and rosemary one
- Welldun Pizza - speaking of rectangle pizza, gotta check this spot out for the best detroit style pizza I've ever had. other styles are great too

I live in an area surrounded by big sand hills / ant hills rock roads and very soft sand my last rc car which I got 3 days ago was destroyed because I underestimated the power of sand. Wheels stopped spinning motor had sounded like it was gonna die and well I’m slumped . I need a tall rc truck around 1:8-1:12 scale on amazon something that’s surely gonna survive my area if anyone asks I’ll send pictures so they can see for themselves my area and I’ll also show how my rc car is destroyed .

The lactation consultant I saw twice when my LO was first born said I can just rinse pump parts at home with hot water between uses, and then just wash with soapy water and sterilize once a day. In searching for this tactic in this thread - I'm now freaking out because that's what I've been doing for 8 weeks since I thought I could trust a certified LC. What the heck! Why would she have said I could do that if there's the risk of bacteria growing? Have I been hurting my baby?!
I'm totally freaking out now.

First time using Quicken Simplifi. I'm self-employed with a few different side hustles and looking to categorize for tax purposes.
I noticed I'm not able to automate the tags, and that's what I was using to mark the IRS categories. I'm wondering if there's a better way to do it - should i be creating the IRS categories as new "categories" and set rules to make it more automated? Would appreciate any strategies anyone else has been using!

I've been proactively emailing a number of News and Governmental (National Weather Service) orgs in my area to get them to join Bluesky. It's something I would like to encourage everyone to do. If you can put Bluesky in front of more organizational heads (I found emails for a few of them while I was planning my BCC list) and their org joins that's all the better for us, Bluesky and ATProto as a whole.
Even if you think someone else has already done it do it anyway. Make sure to let them know this is what we want.
I hope this short post encourages you to also proactively engage your local media orgs. You can usually find the emails you need on their websites.
