2025.01.22 04:10 Chrodesk I brought a 60v max battery back to life...
9AH 60v max battery went kaput.
The gauge only showed 1 bar, it would act like it would charge, but never got beyond 1 bar.
It would power 20v tools, but not 60v tools.
Opened it up. Testing each cell I found 1 that wasnt reading right... it showed a negative charge, though not sure why it was negative, but clearly not right. Once i got it out of the pack it was 0v.

Lemme tell you... Dewalt CLEARLY did not want this thing to be serviced. Like wow, they threw in a few serious FUs along the way that could serve no possible rational purpose except to thwart anyone crazy enough to try and swap a cell.
eventually got the cell out, new cell in (hard to find an authentic samsung 30T21700 cell or atleast it looks real...)
Total cost $11 with shipping, and bam.

It works with 60v tools.
If you ever have a bad cell and want to bring it back to life, it can be done...

 | Alright, I was assembling our boy Ahzek (in his 30k garb and was having an issue getting the main torso with the chest piece. I couldn’t get it to line up and looked around online but mostly found people citing “green stuff” as the solution. I was able to find the issue and solve it, the little nub, circled in red had the remnants of the sprue which, once removed, let the model come together aligned properly. For anyone struggling to get these pieces to come together, please check this sprue connector point - I missed it because it’s an odd angle.
