I should had asked this days earlier but are there any secure lockers at the testing center in the metro TCC campus?
I'd like to bring my backpack with my study materials with me to study before the test instead of sitting and waiting while for the test to begin.

Okay so I devoured this book in record time (thanks for recommending it, person in this sub!), and I read the rest of the series, but there’s no similar books I can find. Anybody have anything like this that takes place in ancient times? Anything by Jean M Auel is not for me, as it contains noncon. I’d rather the book not be older than like. ‘90s. Books written in the ‘70s and ‘80s don’t tend to do it for me, I’m afraid, and I’d like it to be f/m, please. Smut wise, if there’s anal, like. One scene is fine, but if there’s a lot of it, that’s gonna be a no thank you from me.
My absolute dealbreakers are:
• Not having any smut (sorry, it’s a necessity, and this book series was as nondescriptive as I can go, I’d rather if romance.io tagged it as explicit and plentiful) • has rape/noncon (dubcon as in Daughter of the Red Deer is acceptable, but no rape as in, for example, Clan of the Cave Bear. Rape of non-MCs is okay as long as it’s not vividly described, I know there’s that one book where several girls get lost in a tribe in the ‘70s and it has descriptions of side characters that are too much for me) • reverse harem or anything adjacent to it, including but not limited to threesomes etc • public sex/voyeurism (so behind a tent is fine, but in, like, the town square? No thank you, not for me) • widowed/already married FMC
I’m down for anything that takes place in ancient times! Roman? Pict? Celtic? Druid? Down for it. Vikings and gladiators are kind of iffy, as they tend to be ultra-muscular beefcakes and the descriptions of how the MMC is the biggest, burliest man in the room is the equivalent of dunking my girly bits in the artic sea, but some description is okay. Bonus points if the FMC is not described as thin, slender, or lithe. She doesn’t have to be plus sized, necessarily, but I’d like it if she wasn’t explicitly described as being thin.
I expect I won’t get many recs, but hey. A girl can dream, right?

My project focuses on exploring the precancerous comorbidity patterns of disease A using electronic medical records data. In a previous project, we identified around 30 comorbidities based on diagnosis/lab test/medication information. In this project, we aim to analyze how these comorbidities cluster using exploratory factor analysis (via the psych package) and examine the mediation effect of disease B in disease A development (using the lavaan package). I currently have the following major questions:
- The data showed low KMO values (around 0.2). We removed variable pairs with zero co-occurrence, which improved the KMO but led to a loss of some variables. Should we proceed with a low KMO, as we prefer to retain these variables?
- For exploratory factor analysis with all binary variables, can I use tetrachoric correlation?
- A and B are binary variables. For mediation analysis, can I use lavaan package with A and B ordered?

Before ever seeing a stalking mannequin I saw the emtpy stand. This was in the small room attached to the garage. I always kept it locked but it still got out. While doing my rounds I encountered the mannequin coming down the stairs of a satellite. This didn't phase me. I destroyed it and made a point to destroy the stand as well. The next night I decided to clean up the parking lot garbage pile at night. While heading back inside I saw another. It was complete darkness so all I saw was the shadow of it's head. This was so more subtle than a jumpscare. I didn't make a noise. What I did feel was this cold sinking feeling. Wow, that was pretty good, I thought. I went back inside through the garage and walked towards the entrance area. As I turned around, I froze. Three paper aliens were standing there holding the garage door open. This was so much worse because my brain tried to assume they were still mannequins.But they had faces! The sinking feeling was way more intense this time. I still did not make a noise, I just froze. I was not expecting this kind of fear. I woke up to graffiti at my door. I don't know if I should be worried there will be more.

How historically accurate is the show? I know the Mountain Meadows Massacre really happened in Utah territory in 1857, and I know the Mormons played a central role, but the other characters? Sara, Isaac, Jim Bridger, Virgil, Jacob, the Wolf Clan? Any of them truly exist? I’m a history nerd so the accuracy matters lol.
But overall phenomenally well done show. I loved every second of it.

I don't know why but I find eBooks really hard to read and need a physical book in hand so on a whim I printed a pdf version of an Alice Coldbreath book! 😅
Does anyone else do this?
In case anyone else wants to do this, I made sure to edit the pdf to have page numbers as my pdf didn't have them and then I printed it as a booklet then folded each page and put them together with a big stapler haha 😜
