I've been in helpdesk and now I am a tier 2 desktop support/field ops for about 6 months. I have the Comptia Trifecta. I average the most tickets on my team. Right now I am finding the job a bit too easy and most of the issues I troubleshoot are kind of the same. I thoroughly enjoy troubleshooting and fixing issues. I'm just wondering what's next in a similar role. Like I guess tier 3, but I can't imagine that's much different I would just be in charge of more? Like I know I should try to specialize, just not sure where to start or what would be a natural progression from desktop Support role.

I recently had an issue with my main water line about 5-6" beyond the city meter. It had been leaking and after calling a plumber and fixing it, his report mentioned a joint failure of PVC caused by poor glue.
About 1.5 years ago my city came though and replaced everyone's meters with digital ones. I remember the whole process was about 10 minutes. Anyway, I've been thinking about what the plumber said and it dawned on me that my house has copper main line under the slab. I know this due to a slab leak several years ago.
I want to dispute the charge with my city since I'm certain the mainline is copper. The plumber said he chased the PVC to the sidewalk but went no further.
My question is would my house (built it 89) have a PVC main line or copper?
TL;DR My city came to replaced everyone's meters with digital meters then about a year later the PVC joint failed due to "bad glue" wouldn't the main supply to my house, built in '89, be copper? I want to fight the city on this if they screwed the install.

I haven’t seen my dad since I was 18 I’m now about to turn 22….i cut him off because he was a drug addict and he constantly came in and out of my life. I just couldn’t take it anymore and for so long I held onto so much anger for my dad because it wasn’t fair. Everything changed when I was 15 I mean before that he was a regular dad, he took us to the park,he took us out for ice cream,bowling he was proud of us and he was an amazing dad. I didn’t get along with my mom and I just I bonded more with my dad he actually listened to me and would give me the opportunity to speak my mind. I’m Hispanic so the bar was always set high for school and college was always in the cards for me even if it wasn’t what I wanted, it was always drilled into me not to be another statistic. My dad though supported me in what I wanted to and it wasn’t school. I have always loved art and photography and all he wanted was for me to be happy. When I turned 15 it felt like a switch flipped he just started leaving for long periods of time no calls nothing and would turn up randomly always strung out and as a teenager you don’t want to believe that you’re dad is a drug addict. My mom didn’t sugar coat it after he started doing that I mean who shows up to see their kids strung out? I used to beg and beg my dad to get better if not for himself but for us his kids and he just never wanted to. Kept saying no and no that he didn’t want to and it hurt but it also got me so mad because when my parents separated he only saw us on the weekends because we went to school during the week with our mom and he would complain say he wants to see us everyday and use us as an excuse as to why he was doing drugs. For so long it made me so mad because he continued to be strung out missing birthday’s graduation important events the birth of his first grandchild all because he wanted to do drugs. It hurt after I cut my dad off I moved and I’ve decided that he lost the term dad you don’t get to just walk out and half assed everything. But I’m about to turn 22 and I’m not so mad a little hurt but I’ve let go of my anger i understand it doesn’t sound like that but i wasted 5 years being mad and holding onto my anger and I’m honestly done. There is a lot of people in my life who love me and I have amazing opportunities but I think I’m ready to see him again I just have to find him last I knew he was homeless and strung out still but I have hope and hopefully I find him

Hello everyone! First time posting here. I am grateful to have somewhere to post about this, thank you!!
Summary: 38f - ferratin level only raised by at its peak by 10, from a 5 to a 15. Over a period of 2 years. Despite taking a double dose of Ferramax 150mg daily. Eat regularly. Normal levels hemoglobin. Cause for concern?
So I have had very low ferratin for the last two years, starting from a 5 and now at a 12 after these 2 years. My hemoglobin has been consistent at the average level however so (as I have read in many other posts) my doctor does not seem very concerned at all, I am also a 38 female who has average periods. Not super heavy.
When my level was a 5 my doctor prescribed me to take Fermax 150mg every day. And after about 8 months of this it went to a 7. (I have it in the morning before breakfast, but I do eat fairly soon afterwards to save my tummy lol) So he said take 2 every morning. After 6 months it went to a 15. At this time I called my doctor to look at these results and he just up and left his job unfortunately SO I finally got another doctor after about 2 months or so, explained what was going on, he says take it with orange juice and make sure you stick to taking them every day. Which I was but he doesn't know me so I get it. 4 months later I take a test and now my ferratin is at a 12.
I really want to be prepared to advocate for myself, as I feel like there is cause for concern here. I have been struggling with depression and some mental health issues for the past few years, and I'm wondering if this is tied all into it, I have only been regularly going to the doctor for about 6 years as I have dug myself out of a dark hole and finally being an adult and taking care of myself... ANYWAYS now I am getting way off topic haha.
I guess my question is, isn't it quite odd that I am taking 2x iron supplements of 150mg each every morning and not seeing much of a result? Am I being impatient? Should I change my diet even more, is that a bigger factor that I am thinking it is? (I do eat meat and have been having spinach at least 5x a week). I am worried I may have some small internal bleeding or am I being dramatic? Haha I guess I only know the answers but any thoughts would be helpful!
