2025.01.22 06:58 Madisonfangirl T-Online Artikel

2025.01.22 06:58 putitinmykundi Kamal Crazy Mohan and climax chase scenes.
Kamal and Crazy Mohan have collaborated for 10 comedy movies. Of these 7 of them have a climax that ends in either a car or bike chase. I don't know if they decided to keep it as a ritual since their first collaboration of "Apoorva Sagothargal", but it has featured in most of their movies. Even in "magalir mattum" the climax ends in a chase

I’ve been searching for this dress in particular for the longest time and cannot find a legit place to buy it. 2025.01.22 06:58 zBlasterX Mystic light not working. RGB Case fans light no longer on when PC is on
Yesterday my RGB were working fine until I had to turn off my PC and go out with friends. I just came back to absolutely no light on my RGB fans except for my watercooling. I went to MSI Center and then Mystic Light to try to get them back on but it just asks me loads of updates and updates. Never had any problem since I had my PC except the fact that it was super laggy. It asked me to update MSI Center itself, then Mystic Light and then when I updated all of that, it asks me for a scan where I have to update the AMD Chipset Driver (for my CPU) and install their « Norton 360/MSI LED FW) and I did it all of that (except Norton) and still not working. I even download the AMD Chipset Driver from my MSI MB Support page and still nothing. My PC became laggy since I reinstalled the AMD Chipset Driver multiple times + updated my BIOS via Flash EZ (usb stick) and I consider doing a factory reset maybe. What can I do?

2025.01.22 06:58 the-harsh-reality Hey
The Alien franchise has always been fairly straightforward in its worldbuilding, at least on screen. While there exists a swath of expanded material which fleshes out this universe, most of the films are focused on the immediate, the "here and now" of it all.
So, that's mostly the approach I would take going forward. There is a bigger world out there, but not too much time would be spent on expanding it.
Relevant lore and information on the current world could be found in:
Free League Publishing's Alien: The Roleplaying Game, and its various modules/expansions and most specifically the Draconis trilogy with hope’s last day as a prologue.
The recent and classic Dark Horse comics, such as Fire and Stone and Aliens: Apocalypse - the Destroying Angels.
The video games Isolation, Fireteam Elite, and most importantly…Dark Descent.
The Setting
We are in the year…2183.
4 years have passed since the final destruction of the Hadley's Hope colony, on LV-426. An unofficial "cold war" is brewing between the known human superpowers, with knowledge of the sought after Xenomorph becoming something of an open secret among their leadership.
• The United Americas
• The Three World Empire
• The Union of Progressive Peoples
• The Independent Core Systems
Everybody wants the Xenomorph. But they're all having trouble getting it. And whenever it's not people screwing each other over, it's remnants of the mysterious Precursor civilization, and the dangerous biotech that their servitor race of Engineers left behind.
The known universe is every bit the dangerous, chaotic place we know. Both in the prequels, and the first two mainline films.
Meanwhile, Weyland-Yutani company plays all the angles. And they're not just hunting the Xenomorph, but all who've attempted to eradicate it.
Rather than get bogged down in exposition, I have provided a sort of sequence and order to the universe, to make it easier to understand the various complexities.
Ancient Citizens and the true gigantic "Space Jockeys".
The oldest known races in the galaxy, who first began cultivating biomechanical wonders and formulas that control or destroy life. Might be the same race, might just be related, who knows?
The "Destroying Angel".
A supposedly perfect being revered as the height of evolution. Either bioengineered or simply enhanced by the life-giving Fruit, itself commonly depicted as almost looking like some kind of egg.
The Engineers.
A servitor race of the Space Jockeys/Ancient Citizens who are more recognizably human in appearance. Created humanity, while attempting to recreate the wonders of their ancestors by reverse-engineering the Divine Fruit, thus producing the Pathogen.
Humans, Xenomorphs and the Fulfremmen.
The engineers' various attempts at making a perfect race, in the memory of the Destroying Angel.
Synthetics.
Humanity's own creation. Something that produced mixed results, to say the least.
Characters of Destroying Angel(The Core Four)
Michael B Lydecker
A space pirate who is rumored to be a survivor of Hadley’s hope, Michael B. Lydecker’s trauma stems from a fateful decision during his time at Hadley’s Hope. His boss, Al Simpson, persuaded him not to report the discovery of a derelict ship to federal authorities during a mining expedition for Trimonite, a room temperature superconductor that could jumpstart their economy. In exchange, Simpson began negotiations for exclusive company rights to the Trimonite mines, securing mining equipment and ownership guarantees. This secrecy prompted Weyland-Yutani, aided by Carter Burke, to obtain the coordinates of the Derelict after tripling their efforts to recover the Narcissus to get leverage in these negotiations. The company(specifically Carter Burke) used this to force Simpson’s hand, ultimately sending Russ and Anne Jorden to investigate and confirm the presence of the derelict. This decision unleashed the Xenomorph outbreak that led to the fall of Hadley’s Hope and the death of his daughter. Lydecker has since internalized the guilt, believing that his complicity in listening to Simpson’s stupid ideas directly caused the tragedy. In any case, he is a drug-addicted survivor whose ultimately a good man who internalized his trauma to become a vicious but intelligent sociopathic criminal who does jobs for the highest bidder and screwing over the clients that betray him whilst keeping his own trusted crew at a emotional distance, he is a nihilist who nonetheless harbors a heart of gold if you pet that cat right, though he hates to admit that he is just a cat. He deeply loathes himself most of all, constantly yearning for a good death, only to find something that gives him a reason to live on his undercover mission on the behalf of the Sotillo as the chief security officer on the Montero.
Omega and The She-Wolf
An experimental, Vat-grown Xenomorph android prototype. Created via infecting a Xenomorph egg with a biological computer virus using leprosy spores from a human as a protective carrier medium, scientists were able to delete and rewrite specific DNA chains, causing the egg to grow into a humanoid “android” with Xenomorphic traits instead of a common facehugger. Possibly because xenomorphs and androids share similar morphology due to silicon polymers, but much like the Xenomorphs themselves…it’s hard to tell where boundaries of both flesh and machine begins or ends, thus making it frankly impossible to determine whether or not the child is an android, Xenomorph, or human. The Cronus got contaminated and the ship would tumble through space, as Omega found themselves raised by a perfected entity known as “she-wolf” whom they would live with along with their two Neomorph brothers. Omega is likely some form of “perfected” who is capable of manipulating the coding of the black pathogen, and much to the benefit of Lydecker’s mental health…the closest thing he has to a surrogate child. Found by Lydecker and his crew during a mission involving the search for the lost derelict ship known as the Cronus, they instantly took a dislike to each other due to their strong antisocial personalities with Omega threatening to lay eggs in Lydecker. But the two bonded despite everything going wrong, and eventually they simply became stuck together like glue. Omega has a power akin to a black space magician capable of summoning primordial daemon xenos from the black pathogen by influencing its coding through some kind of equation. It gives them great genetic power but corrupts their souls and spawns monsters, much of Lydecker’s time is spent trying to save them from the space daemon manifestations trying to rebuild themselves in our reality through flesh.
Ava “6” Yutani
Ava is an android created by Mrs Yutani, and as a result she is a devious android. She met Lydecker during the mission where he got acquainted with Omega, as a “dead” crew member of a floating ghost ship called the Cronus, her body was destroyed in a black goo outbreak on the ship. She unsuccessfully tried to manipulate Lydecker into trying to kill himself by blowing up the ship via using his dead daughter’s voice over the radio(she got that information via connecting to the Montero and finding Lydecker’s files via the network), as part of a mission to keep a living proto-hive from coming to the earth sphere. Though the ship was ultimately destroyed by Lydecker and Omega, she herself was saved via uploading her consciousness into the Cronus flight recorder and became a kind of motherly figure to Omega much to Lydecker’s dismay.
John “Duke” Cameron
John Cameron has always been a born leader. He was his High School's star quarterback as well as Class Vice-President, a earth-based dream hoisted onto him by his family. But John always had his eyes on the stars. He enrolled in college courses to become a Terra-farming engineer like his parents, but found that the job lacked the adventure quotient he was desperately missing. John decided to join the Colonial Marines, and he never looked back...maybe he should have. He is now Lydecker’s “ex-boyfriend” and enemy with benefits, as they had(have?) a thing for each other due to their shared experience as survivors of the Xenomorphs that needed to let off some steam. A hardened survivor who along with his husband Patrick Steele and his squad was sent on a mission on the USS Sephora to investigate the disappearance of the USS Sulaco before having a close encounter with the hive on board as a start to a series of brutal encounters with the aliens that led to the death of his whole squad including his husband that quickly escalated to a confrontation with the xenomorphs on LV-426(along with UPP commandos) and an assault against a Weyland Yutani lab built within the moon of Phobos. It was during this point where he as a golden retriever-coded marine met the cat-coded Lydecker and they had a thing before Lydecker’s violent streak drove a massive wedge between them, specifically after Lydecker crashed the moon of Phobos into Mars for the greater good of keeping the specimens from going to Earth. He eventually hopes to arrest Lydecker and turn this twink in, just as soon as he stops being distracted when he and Lydecker have violent and angry hate sex.
The Draconis Trilogy
Chariot Of The Gods
Michael B. Lydecker is a man drowning in guilt. Years ago, as a corporate employee on Hadley’s Hope, he chose loyalty to his boss, Al Simpson, over his moral duty, staying silent about the discovery of an alien derelict in exchange for the corporate favors that Simpson promised he could get. That decision set off a chain reaction, leading to the Xenomorph outbreak that destroyed the colony and killed his young daughter. Ever since, Lydecker has been running from his past, living as an undercover pirate for the corporate vessel Montero, consumed by self-loathing and the belief that he doesn’t deserve redemption. Now, Lydecker’s world implodes aboard the derelict vessel Cronus, a drifting nightmare filled with failed experiments in bioengineering and the echoes of his sins. As the crew investigates, Lydecker begins to hear the voice of his dead daughter over the comm system, calling to him for help. The voice belongs to Ava, an android whose physical body was destroyed but whose consciousness now controls the ship’s systems and who hacked into the network that connected to the Montero beforehand to send a dream to Lydecker’s Cryopod, having him dream of his daughter being consumed by Xenomorphic dandelions and how he “must stop them from spreading” before he waking up and starting his day. Manipulative and calculating, Ava uses Lydecker’s guilt and grief to push him toward one singular purpose: destroy the Cronus and its cargo of horrors, even if it means sacrificing himself. Among the ship’s horrors is Omega, a gender-fluid Xenomorphic child with traces of human, Xenomorph, android alongside a tragic innocence. Omega is haunted and controlled by the She-Wolf, a towering and grotesque alpha predator created by deranged scientists aboard the Cronus. The She-Wolf seeks to propagate a biomechanical plague by mating with Omega(her own offspring), transforming the Cronus into a breeding ground for a horrifying new species. As Lydecker bonds with Omega, he begins to see echoes of his lost daughter in the creature, igniting protective instincts he thought had died with her. The bond forces him to confront his past mistakes and question Ava’s philosophy of self-sacrifice. Ava’s manipulation, embodied in the voice of his daughter, pushes Lydecker to believe that he can only atone for his sins by destroying the ship and everyone aboard—including himself. But Omega’s fragile humanity and innocence give him a new sense of purpose: protecting life instead of simply erasing his guilt through death. In the end, Lydecker destroys Cronus without sacrificing himself, rescuing Omega in the process and shooting the she-wolf out of the airlock. As they escape, Lydecker finally sheds the weight of his guilt. He learns that redemption isn’t about death or penance—it’s about choosing to protect and nurture life, even in the face of overwhelming darkness. Omega, now free from the She-Wolf’s control, becomes a symbol of Lydecker’s second chance, a being who challenges the boundaries of humanity and the alien. Destroyer Of Worlds
As nearby systems fall to an enemy power, a ragtag Colonial Marine squad is assembled on a mining moon about to break out in rebellion. Their goal: hunt down four fugitives—rogue marines who are defecting to the Union of Progressive Peoples (UPP) with stolen classified intelligence. Operating out of the moon’s military base, the Marines are sent out into a hotbed of disgruntled wildcatters and insurgents. The clock is ticking—the UPP is invading this sector of space and the military will not evacuate the colony until the threat is neutralized. Michael B Lydecker and Omega, having moved from colony to colony to escape various agents trying to exploit Omega, suddenly find themselves in the middle of another crisis involving the Destroying Angel as John Duke Cameron comes back into Lydecker’s life as the advisor to the marines on the moon.
The marines(led by the core four of Lydecker, John, Ava, and Omega) soon learn that the fugitives are far deadlier than expected. Accidentally impregnated with alien embryos while on base, the errant marines were then injected with an unstable vaccine intended to kill the parasites. The results were mixed at best. While one of them goes into remission, two continue growing the aliens inside them and the fourth actually starts becoming one herself. The marines engage the fugitives across the colony, finally confronting the last one at a hidden insurgent compound deep within the Unobtanium mines as it is revealed that there is an underground Xenocity with ancient citizens growing on the walls, a secret kept by the colonial administration after a mining accident stumbled onto it, trading exclusive access to the company in exchange for mining equipment and profit sharing. The insurgents are planning to use impregnated “guardians” as leaders of Xenomorphs to liberate the colony, leading to a confrontation between Lydecker and his fear of losing another child to the classic Xenomorph.
The UPP invasion begins just as the Marines achieve their objective and seemingly destroy a potential hive, John and Lydecker slowly rekindling their whirlwind relationship. The colony quickly becomes an active warzone. Ordered to return to base for immediate evacuation, the marines head for the now locked down fort—until a mysterious three-headed space jockey flies over the colony with a juggernaut and bombs the colony with a deadly pathogen, killing UPP and colonial marine forces alike, and transforms the moon into a monstrous wasteland.
The marines realize they must break into the sealed military base and use the space elevator there to leave the poisoned moon. But the fort wasn’t locked down to keep enemies out—it was to keep the threat inside contained—the base has been overrun by xenomorphs. Within the fort, the Marines have to make their way through the alien nest, restore power, set some nukes to blow the colony, free the locked elevator, and get the hell off-moon. As the Marines climb to orbit, they discover the space station on the other end of the elevator has been destroyed—the tether now caught in the wreckage of a massive space battle that had no victors. The only way to survive is to gain control of an escape craft floating amongst the orbital debris field and get the fuck out of dodge before everything goes nuclear.
Realizing that Lydecker is still wanted for the desolation of Mars, and that he doesn’t want Lydecker to be alone, Lydecker and John agree to run away together and raise Omega.
Heart Of Darkness
Omega enrolls into the Geholgod Institute—a prestigious international research institution that focuses on higher scientific principles. A gathering of leading minds from all supernations, Geholgod has a keen interest in both exolife and humanity’s possible extraterrestrial origins.
Able to convince their overprotective dads that they can go to space without them, omega and their team arrive in orbit around the Ablassen Black Hole, ready to catalog a new form of proto-plasmatic organism found living in the accretion disk of the singularity as they are unaware of the relationship between the black hole and the doomed ship of which they were born…the USCSS Cronus. They are here to be scientists and do science work on Erebos plasma trawling rig and platform. The team quickly finds out they are in for more than they bargained for. Damaged by an apparent meteor strike, Erebos station is running silent. The Cetorhina is nearly swept up into the black hole, but crashes into the station instead. Thankfully Ava investigated the institute and discovered the true coordinates of the black hole and got John and Lydecker into the Sephora II to follow the team and are now in a parking orbit as they board the Erebos looking for Omega.
Investigating the Erebos, our characters discover the meteors that hit the station are protoplasmic spores. They have grown fleshy roots and veins, covering the station’s walls. The growth spreads, converting the station into a living biomechanical hive. The lifeforms the research came here to investigate have infected all energy conduits of the station’s machinery, transforming it into the Living Proto-Hive’s circulatory system. Omega and her dads along with the research team must look for survivors and earn the trust of potential allies, obtain the parts needed to attempt repairs on the Cetorhina, and discover just what they are up against—the station is crawling with Proto-Xenomorphs and is under control of evolved biomechanoid beings the station’s Science Officer Clerke has dubbed the Fulfremmen—derived from an archaic word meaning “to perfect”—or, the Perfected.
The Perfected reveal they intend to release their spores on human colonies, converting entire worlds into Proto-Hives. These beings make one of the members of the science team an offer—help them convert the “mother and child” of the 26 Draconis Strain so that they can usher in the next step of their evolution and their entire team will be spared. The science team and the core four work for a way to either stop the Perfected(or in case of the members of the science team, help them push Omega into embracing their power as a child of the 26 Draconis Strain in exchange for their lives). Searching for a way to escape Erebos, the core four and the research team perform several tasks to determine how to destroy these alien lifeforms. They learn the Living Proto-Hive is fusing the Cetorhina and Erebos into one, intending to use the tanker’s FTL drive to take it to other systems.
As the Living Proto-Hive traps our heroes in a maze of vascular tunnels and even telepathic illusions of their greatest failures, the station itself is transfigured into a biomechanical behemoth. The core four and their allies must make their final move against the now-living station and each other as they fulfill their personal agendas. Few avenues of escape present themselves—the surest being the cold embrace of death.
The core four is able to escape the station on board the Sephora, as Omega is left with the fear of their “destiny” as harbinger of the apocalypse, having used their powers to save them.
