Hi everyone,
To change things up a bit, next summer my girlfriend and I are planning to travel around France for three weeks. The itinerary is already roughly outlined: since we live in Switzerland and want to start by discovering the North (as we've never been there), we're planning to head up via Strasbourg, Reims, and then towards Lille, before crossing west to Brittany, then heading south and coming back through Auvergne.
We’re planning to spend a few nights in the car to enjoy some beautiful spots. I have a Mitsubishi Outlander that I’m thinking of converting for the occasion. The rest of the time, when we want to stay a few days in the same place, we’ll stay in hotels.
So here I am, looking for your beautiful spots, great tips, and hidden gems that aren’t on any travel websites, if you’d be kind enough to share them.

Hello everyone! I started playing Magic last summer and wanted to share my little story.
I’m in my 30s and feel incredibly lucky to still have the same big group of friends from my school days. But, as life goes, we started seeing each other less and less, and everyone’s schedules became more hectic.
About 1.5 years ago, a few people in my circle started playing Magic: Commander. Over time, more and more of us, including me, joined in.
We’re currently playing around 2-3 times a week, and it’s absolutely amazing. Even our girlfriends and fiancés have started playing with us!
One of us has even built their own cube, and we now have a draft tournament roughly once a month.
It’s incredible to have discovered this game as adults, and how it has brought us closer together in such a fun, almost childlike way. My girlfriend and I often spend evenings just organizing our cards and building decks together.
It’s truly wonderful, and I’m so thankful to have found this game for myself and my loved ones.

2025.01.22 07:51 Kangal-Man Gotham by Gaslight was disappointing.
The whole book felt like it was 2 episodes of a Victorian era Batman cartoon. Jack the ripper plot was way too short and it was highly predictable. It ended too quick and the second LeRoi part didnt even have a purpose. Bro just came, set the city on fire then died. People were hyping up gotham by gaslight like it got one of the best stories there is so im kinda disappointed now. Im not really a comic-head so i might've just got the wrong book or something. Are there any more Gotham by Gaslight books? And if there isnt, I would love to hear you all's comic book recommendations. Have a nice day!

My (27f) cousin (16m) borrowed 2500 from my friend (26f). When she reminded him about it, he said his friend will repay her and sent the transaction screenshot. At first when she didn't get the money she thought it was a bank error but on further scrutiny realized that the screenshot had many spelling errors so they definitely tried to pull a fast one on her. It could be that his friend tricked him too and he doesn't know it's fake (though that's definitely what he'll say even if he was involved), so I don't know if I should confront him and just get him to pay up for real or go complain to his mom.

As the title suggests, yes I paid 337 dollars on an order on Fivver. It’s for a few UI designs (each one would be a sort of an expanded tab coming out from the side menu. (For those of you who have played Xbox or PlayStation. It’s essentially the quick menu/side interface that I was trying to recreate). I sent fairly clear and specific instructions on what should be on each page. They told me they had experience with consoles and I trusted them.
So far, the seller has only given three updates on the work.
I commissioned this on the 15th. I gave very clear and explicit instructions on what the tabs needed to have. They told me they understood.
On the 18th, they got back to me with the first update. They assured me that it was a work in progress and that they would add in what I requested more so later on.
On the second 19th they added a three screenshots of what they had been working on. The “side interfaces” (like how you have the quick menu on Xbox/Playstation) took up the whole screen. Not only that, but while two screens looked a little bit promising. The third one was not really at all what I was looking for. Again… I was assured that this was a work in progress, so I had let it slide.
Yes, I realize this was really dumb of me. Maybe I should have checked in more.
Today is the 22nd and the project is due tomorrow. They shows 6 screenshots to me. Three of them are the exact same ones from the “work in progress shots” they had sent me on the 19th. The other ones are an in-game map(I never asked for this) , a store which looks more akin to something from a mobile game (I never asked for this), and a settings tab (which, although actually does look fairly cool, nice, and I could even see a use for it… I never asked for it)
They are saying they will request more time from me after they send me another progress report today, but I really don’t want to chance it. Is there any way I can get a partial refund on this order. There are 6 screenshots so I would still be willing to maybe give around 130 or so dollars if possible
