This is a genuine question where I’m trying to understand something about some ppl in the fandom. Ever since the end of season 2, there have been ppl on Reddit and online in general who are part of this sub and claim to be fans of the show pleading and praying that the show gets canceled and that there’s no season 3. Even when news of season 3 comes out, they become aggressive and negative and continue their prayer circle of cancellation. Based on your experiences and interactions with such people (bonus points if you are one of these people), what’s going on in their heads that they 1) get so triggered over a show they watch and follow online to get canceled, 2) are happy that other fans who want the show to continue will be sad that the show got canceled, and 3) that the cast and crew would lose out on their jobs?

So I'm working my way through Lovecraft's complete works in preparation for running call of cthulhu. I came across this particular passage on the wiki for Innsmouth:
"The description of the fictional Massachusetts village is said to be based on the real fishing town of Fleetwood, Lancashire which bears a marked resemblance to the description of the village."
As someone from the area this hit me like a psychic truck and I find my own sanity somewhat precariously slipping right now. I haven't actually got to the shadow over Innsmouth yet, but a derelict northern fishing town, long since derelict and falling apart, with glassy eyed inbred monstrosies is surprisingly apt even today I can't lie.
But I'm curious on where this idea comes from, it just seems repeated across the internet. I want to know WHO is allegedly saying this, and why. I struggle to comprehend how a man from 1920s America even knew about such a small and unimportant place.

Hello, everyone,
Hopefully someone can help with this issue I am having with my Nest Thermostat.
I am getting this error message intermittently. Error E195 - No Power to R wire
What I first notice is the house getting cool, so I check the Nest device (This issue has been happening infrequently over the last few weeks). Example: today, heat setting changed to 23 and house temp came up to that level. But over time, I felt the house getting cool. I checked the thermostat and it was still set to 23, but the actual house temperature had dropped to 21.5. The app shows orange indicating heat should be coming, but I can hear the furnace is not on. One of the times this happened, I reset the power at the furnace, and the heat came back on. I am thinking I may have to pull the Nest device off and check the wires, etc., but wanted to see if others had experienced this or had ideas.

I noticed how a lot of people back in the day used the have the same issue. Can't the fullscreen on the game, the moment i switch to a fullscreen the automatically alt tab's me and i can't, for the love of dear god, can't switch back to it. I tried the games documents, didn't work, settings, didn't work. Why. Am i not allowed to use fullscreen? it didn't bothered the game until the recent update. Is something actually broken?
