I've been bouncing this idea for a while. I've always loved aviation and I see it has a wonderful future ahead of it.
I'd like to start a design build firm for trainer aircraft. I understand it's a difficult market, but I'm game for a challenge. (Quick background: I have a degree in business, a background in aerospace engineering and automotive technology, and I work for an international construction design and manufacturing firm as the APAC regional manager. I'm looking to start my own business in the next 3-5 years as I transition careers and complete my MBA). And yes, I understand theres some great trainer aircraft already in existence, and yes I do want to reinvent the wheel.
So, what I'd like to ask is this:
If you could have your dream modern trainer what would it be like?
What features and accessories would you like to see implemented? What powerplant? Electric only, or hybrid?
My goal is to introduce the next generation to affordable aviation options. I'd love to see kids living their dreams as pilots! And with the sales of the aircraft a portion will always go to aviation scholarships.

The NHS is absolutely shit. They're useless. I've been struggling with my mental health pretty bad with no support for a long time. The other night I had a psychotic episode and phoned an ambulance. That's what they always tell you to do, "reach out". So I get to A&E, sit for about 10 hours and have to do multiple physical tests before the mental health "professionals" will talk to me.
When they finally do talk to me, they ask me what kind help I want, so I ask them what my options are and after about 20 minutes of talking, the only solutions they give me are to go talk to my GP, and consider phoning lifeline (I was literally suicidal atp).
So I get discharged, resolute to get some sort of help, so the next day I phone my GP the exact minute their phones open. 8:30 on the dot. I press the button to make a GP appointment and it already said they're at full capacity. This has happened to me multiple times.
What a sick fucking joke. An isolated young man with suicidal ideation and I have literally zero way to even fucking contact a healthcare professional or get any type of support. Even getting ahold of the fucking GP secretary feels like I'm playing fortnite, competing against 100 other people for the grand prize of a doctors appointment.
Load of bollocks, all of it.

Ernstgemeinte Frage: Macht es Sinn, sich jetzt noch impfen zu lassen?
Normalerweise haben wir jedes Jahr die Grippe Impfung gemacht; für mich, meine Frau und die beiden Kids. Damit sind wir sehr gut durch den Winter gekommen.
Dieses Jahr haben wir das stressbedingt durch Jobs, Haus, [hier andere Ausreden einfügen], etc einfach verpennt, einen Impftermin zu machen.
Das rächt sich jetzt: ich lag schon zwei Mal hart flach - das passiert sonst nie - und auch Kinder und Frau hat es schon erwischt.
Ich will es nur verstehen. Macht es jetzt noch Sinn inmitten der Grippe-Welle und nachdem wir schon mehrfach - wahrscheinlich auch von der Grippe - erwischt wurden, sich noch impfen zu lassen?
Ps: COVID Tests waren immer negativ.
